@@yatchicheese5808 probably but some people's lips are naturally gradient however its usually that their outer lips are really dull instead of their inner lip being really vibrant xD

Try to have a habit of exfoliating your lips, and making sure your lips are protected with Vaseline or lipbalm at all times. It really helps to make your lips look amazing.
You can just swipe on a really thick layer of Vaseline on your lips and go to sleep, removing the dead skin when you wake up. After your skincare (or before. Which ever you prefer. I ain't judging), make sure your lips are protected with that layer of lip balm/Vaseline and reapply whenever needed.
Oh and it really helps your lips if you drink plenty of water

After finding about gradient lips .... I got obsessed. I do it every day for natural look. Love it. Thank for the recommendation of the councilor I just used nude lipstick and it got all over so the gradient wasn't so visible , now it is.

I wish I had this tutorial 10 years ago. I avoided lipstick all this time until I saw a very quick but bad tutorial elsewhere for gradient lips. I tried it looked better but still not great, tried your technique and for the first time I think I look great with lipstick.

I tried this and I found *the* combo (I'm fairly pale and have cool undertones, but I'm sure everyone would look good with that): nyx 09 Natural as a base and nyx Cherry Skies in the middle!

Please try Loreal Rouge Signature. I use I Explore as base and I Play for gradient. They work perfectly for me. It's also very lightweight.
