The way you smile at your kids is pure love! ❤
Thank you for sharing your family, recopies and memories. You all make up a very nice family. I remember trying to walk around in my father's shoes when I was a young kid. What fond memories. Thank you again. God bless your homestead.
This was SO helpful! These fudgesicles are awesome! We love the flavor, health benefits, and ease of making them.
I love that popsicle recipe thank you so good for my littles! ❤
Are those Concord grapes? They reminded me of the grape vines that I grew for a 4H project when I was a teenager.
They’re long gone, my Dad got tired of taking care of them, that was over 50 years ago.
I love how practical and down to earth you are. Glad you got a vacation!♥️👍🙏😎🇺🇸
I'm honestly not sure what kind of wild grapes they are. They were here when we bought our property but from what I've read/seen of concord, they could be! Thanks for watching!
@@FromScratchFarmstead concords are what Welch’s grape juice is made from. Do they taste like that?
What a nice vacation, but yes always good to get home and back on track too 😊
Have a blessing weekend!
Love from Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴
I love your recipes!!!
Great recipes as always. So glad you were able to get away and relax a little. Your garden and orchard are amazing. Val C ❤️🙏🏻
What a nice video. Loved all of your recipes and the garden. The cows to me looked pretty good, going from one field to the other. Looks like such a nice vacation with a lot of fun activities. Always nice to get home.
Mmmmmm I’ve got to try that fudgecicle recipe. Loved them as a kid!
Hello from Wisconsin!
Hi! We love Wisconsin! :)
What fun. So glad you got away to reset and relax. It won't be long till winter will be here again. Enjoy every sunny day.
Thank you!! Yes - we are trying to soak it all in!
Looked like a great vacation! Wisconsin is such a beautiful spot to escape to. We went to Rice Lake for a few summers and I loved it.
I'm definitely going to try your fudgsicle recipe. The one I've been making is delicious, too. It uses unsweetened chocolate almond milk (I eat keto so no regular milk for me, but regular milk would work), cocoa powder, and cream cheese (or coconut cream for dairy free). But I'd love to do the avocado one. My favorite brownie recipe is made with avocado. I make the egg tortillas fairly often.
I love seeing how your garden and fruit trees are doing and am glad everything was fine when you got home. Beautiful apples!
My mom's family is from Rice Lake! ❤
That's so fun! Thanks for sharing your recipe. I bet the cream cheese in those would be delicious. We love avocado brownies too! :)
Thanks for sharing your nutritious recipes.
You're very welcome!
Nutritious, affordable snacks are the most difficult items for me to find. Thanks for these wonderful recipes!!❤️
You're very welcome!
Great ideas!
Awesome and can't wait to try, your recipes are always delicious and healthy!
Looks like you had a wonderful vacation and you all deserved it. 💕 Did your daughter catch that fish? 😊
Thank you! Yes, she was quite the fisherwoman!
During this past Christmas season, there was a huge news report of lead being in all sorts of cocoa powder, with some of the organic brands having the highest amount of lead. I was bummed, and after doing a lot of research, I will only buy navitas cocoa powder brand who has a third party test the product for lead.
I remember hearing about that! That's good to know about that brand!
Just found your channel and I can’t stop binge watching !! lol Are you in Wisconsin?
These are good options, but the sourdough blondie cookie bars are fantastic (previous video). I have made them 4 times and each time they are more delicious.
So glad you like that one! That's a good reminder that I need to get that recipe on our website! :)
Wow! Looks like a great time!
How is the texture of the gummies? When I try making them (using a different recipe), they turn out more like jello than a solid gummie. Do you think the blooming process would help that issue?
I'd try adding a bit more gelatin if they aren't as firm as you'd like them to be. The blooming helps with the gelatin not clumping together but more gelatin will help them to be more solid. Hope this helps!
I love watching your videos and trying your recipes. I believe I tried a popover recipe with tapioca flour and they were great. I have lost the recipe and can't seem to find it. Could you help please.
Thank you!! Was it this Dutch baby pancake? Here’s the recipe! fromscratchfarmstead.com/gluten-free-dutch-baby-pancake/
Thank you I do make that also but they were in a muffin tin. Maybe I'll have to watch all the videos again.
What varieties of apples do you have that you would recommend?
Miss Joelle, do you use the roasted or raw carob powder for the bars??
Hi! We use roasted carob!
@@FromScratchFarmstead great thanks!! Gonna add some to my Azure order! 😉
Thats what i did wrong, I made elderberry juice and then put the gelatin right in the liquid and started stiring, there were lumps and got kinda messy. Oh well I just picked the big lumps out..😅
Ours get clumps sometimes too :)
@@FromScratchFarmstead quick question, I put some in the freezer and they formed a coating of ice all over them. Is this normal? They look white now in the freezer..
@@susie6315 Oh interesting! I've never tried freezing gummies...
@@FromScratchFarmstead Yeah I picked a lot of elderberries and made a bunch of gummies so thought I'd freeze until flu season..
It’s easy to give your kids Carob ice cream bars when they haven’t had any different lol.
We actually just switched from cocoa powder to carob recently but they really aren't picky when it comes to any form of sweet treat :).
