this honestly could’ve been joes best healthy relationship (way better than him and beck or him and love) him and delilah had real natural chemistry and he didn’t obsess over her for superficial reasons. He actually got to know her and genuinely cared about her and eventually she genuinely cared about him too, it’s so sad what the writers had to ruin.
The only other time he tried a natural relationship without obsessing and stalking first was Karen and that whole time he was likely expecting Beck to come back to him + was still obsessing over her. In contrast to that which it felt like he was forcing, this came natural and because his affection for both her and Ellie it likely would’ve continued if her ex didn’t make her suspicious and ultimately expose him and Love wasn’t simultaneously manipulating and obsessing over him. He almost started obsessing over her too but he already was with her so he wouldn’t have needed to kill anyone to manipulate her life lol
The disappointment in her voice when Delilah says "Friends" before walking out of Joe's apartment was so heartbreaking. Like they physically could never go for the two of them being an item for Ellie. All 3 of them deserved each other and so much better than what happened.
It would probably not work because he will always have to keep his crimes from her and if he told her she will likely not accept him , that is Joe's reality .........
@@tomaspiro2015 I feel like that’s why he chose not to use the key to get out of the box! He never ever once mentioned liking Delilah! It was all about them needing each other at that moment but I feel like he was starting to get feelings when they were in that walk drinking. So with Delilah being dead I think it truly made him a POS, he could not justify this. Also he cared for Ellie and at the end of the episode he said there are more badder ppl out there than him so needs to protect Ellie. No mention of love so I think that really tells you how he feels about her
I mean he had Karen too but he doesn't want a normal equal and healthy relationship... the moment it feels healthy and they don't need him to rescue them he checks out.
Dang it! I spoiled myself by watching this after episode 8. Delilah truly deserved so much better, but I’m also so glad to see that Will wasn’t the one who hurt her. I loved their friendship and honestly they had more chemistry than him and Love.
I felt so bad that Love killed her....i think Joe would have let her live even though she found out his secret. Probably for Ellie, and thr fact that he genuinely cared for her
I think this is what made season 2 the best of the series. Most of the seasons featured side characters that were so unlikable, but this season had Delilah, Ellie and Forty. It was very easy to root for them and was sad to see them die, or at least end up much worse off.
Delilah was awesome. She deserved a great ending. I love the people saying her and Joe were a great couple. They would be.....if Joe weren't a serial killer. She was an investigative reporter who was smart and resourceful. She was always going to follow her very good instincts and she would have discovered Joe's secret and it would have been her downfall.....oh wait, that's exactly what happened.
They had genuine chemistry because he did not try to actively pursue her like he did with Beck and Love. They bonded together gradually, he didn't need to stalk her to understand her personality and motivations Delilah's death could have been easily prevented if only Joe had the courage to tell her the truth about Henderson before she grew suspicious - how he was the one who anonymously dropped off the photos and how he obtained them, acknowledging that what he did was highly illegal but for the greater good. Obviously not the whole truth - such as that his hacker was someone he locked up in a cage. He could simply refer to him as an acquaintance. That way, Delilah could have sympathized with him in understanding he was trying to bring Henderson to justice just like she was. If he felt brave enough, he could have even admitted he killed Henderson by accident when trying to get him to confess and how he saved Ellie from becoming another victim. If he tried explaining himself once she was trapped in the cage, it would've been too late as she would see him as a psycho (understandably so). Admitting this would be risky of course, but hiding the truth and lying can only get you so far before you begin to slip up for people to become suspicious. If he told her the truth about Henderson, she hence wouldn't have become suspicious of Joe and snoop around his room. As for Forty - it's hard to imagine how his death could've been prevented as his circumstances were mostly out of Joe's control.
The thing about Joe is even though he is a sociopath if he love and care about you he will take care of you. He will literally go out of his way to protect you and make sure that you are okay even if him looking out for you can get him in trouble he’ll still do it
This and his relationship with Karen in season 1 showed that Joe was capable of a healthy relationship when he didn't fixate on the other person before he even knew them. In season 1, Karen made the first move with him. In season 2, Joe and Delilah grew a friendship that became more. Joe had the ability to have normal relationships, but he never learned from the good ones he had.
Honestly I got s feeling the original script wasnt to kill delilah I think the script had to change due to something off screen 💔 I just cant accept that this was the plan
0:04-I'm sorry but if a woman that looks like that were interested in me, I wouldn't even remember Love. My thought on her would be: "Oh, who's that short, pale girl that follows me around the market? Beats me. Seems kinda weird though".
Too bad this show dont know how To use character like Delilah or Peach and take the easy way To create drama. But this not a good call and this why season 3 is boring!
DELILAH DESERVED BETTER
AGREE..I CRIED SINCE HOURS
Who could be better than joe

Delilah deserved WAY better
@akshaynatu1084love-hate relationships make some of the best relationships lol

High key was totally rooting for these two I'm not gonna lie... Glad to know I'm not the only one who saw such a potential.
They shouldn't have killed her 😭
Delilah❤️😩
Swear to god
That was the best episode of this whole show
I ship them 💯
i feel like there was no infatuation with delilah and he genuinely cared for her :( she changed joe, not love
EXACTLY
swear
Joe had one chance at a relatively healthy relationship and he fucked it up ...
It would probably not work because he will always have to keep his crimes from her and if he told her she will likely not accept him , that is Joe's reality .........
She deserved to be alive and take care of her sister with Joe

No, I think Love effed it up.....I think he would have genuinely fallen for her eventually, but Love would have killed her anyway 😔

The guy is a crazy psycho bastard what are you saying :v

They match 😍
They were better, then him and that other girl. like they had real ass fucking chemistry man 😭
Delilah and Joe's 😩❤️
I was literally crying when Delilah died because i shipped her and Joe sooo fucking much AND Ellie is my all time fav. character in this show 🥺💔💔

This is one of the best edit i seen❤️
She's the only second girl I want to ship with joe after beck and guessed what ,she died.
Nah I hated beck alottt😂 , I loved delilah and had a love and hate relationship with Love.
“Look around him. People disappear” 😭
This was bitter sweat for me. Without her death we don't see season 3s amazing acting but I really wanted them to be end game at the same time.
I love that Joe and Love are a couple. They deserve each other, in good and bad ways. But I hated seeing Delilah die. It broke my heart!!! ;(
It was very hard to see Delilah die .
She was way better than any of Joes girlfriends. 😭
IM SO MAD AT LOVE FOR KILLING HER🤬😡
same🥺
I honestly wish and believe she could have fixed him and I loved them
“Nice to meet you, Delilah. You’re really quite beautiful -oh no” 🤣
They seemed so happy…
I can't be the only one who thought they would be good together, i miss Delilah and ellie bro
I wish they didn't killed Delilah off and that ellie didn't have to leave season 2 was the best season honestly in my opinion
She is sooo hot
The thing about Joe is even though he is a sociopath if he love and care about you he will take care of you. He will literally go out of his way to protect you and make sure that you are okay even if him looking out for you can get him in trouble he’ll still do it
😢😭 She was great, she could have lead Joe to be healthier, talk about his dark feelings and all. great acting as well
I will never forgive the writers for killing her off
Honestly, I believe she could’ve turned Joe into a better person
you season 2 is goated
Maybe in an alternative universe, they have a happy ending, rip Delilah
delilah>>love
I just......want somebody to hurt like im hurting. I truly felt that.
yeah im crying

nope Delilah dies in the book too so she was gonna die either way
Was joe a actual serial killed
Idk if I shall ever be able to process the trauma that they didn't end up being a couple 🤧😭
same same
I really want them together...
why did she have to die? 😔
0:04-I'm sorry but if a woman that looks like that were interested in me, I wouldn't even remember Love. My thought on her would be: "Oh, who's that short, pale girl that follows me around the market? Beats me. Seems kinda weird though".

😭😭

I lost so much respect for Love for killing Delilah. She was going to be set free; the Quinn's were all really messed up people.
Curiosity killed the cat/Delilah
He wasnt a welrdo around her. Which means she could have been a good partner for him.
Then came tommy egan 😂
Delilah personality made me happy.
But she's dirty af.
Delailah and Karen were better for Joe than beck, love and Kate...
