I'm actually really interested in seeing Dunn and Shenton this spring. They both have a lot of potential to be sneaky good pickups. Shenton a little moreso with the numbers he put up through the higher levels of the minors the last couple of seasons (.852 OPS in AAA last year, .1034 OPS in AAA the season before), and his .745 OPS in his brief 50 at bat spit with the Rays last year. Nick Dunn not being a slouch either - his numbers being slightly worse, but fairly similar. If either of them can be consistent .700+ OPS guys they can absolutely carve out a spot on this team somewhere, especially with them both being lefty bats. Other than that, I'm most excited for the young guys - Emerson, Arroyo, Young, Ford, Montes, Evans, Garcia - and the pitchers like Fujinami. It should be an interesting spring, especially with how wide-open the roster competition looks like it could be given the lack of big moves we've made so far
I def want to see Logan Evans.
fitz-gerald has a hyphen?! hahahaaaaas
Where's Carlos Vargas??
2016 ALL STAR DREW POMERANZ 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Ted the plumber, Ralph the electrician, George the pool guy.
Those are just a couple of people. Because they’re cheap
wtf they didn’t invite Not Colton?
nick dunn is one of those guys who came along as depth but got my attention as a late bloomer. rooting for him to break thru at some point.
one name that is frighteningly missing is danny wirchansky. sup w that? is he 40 man?!
casey lawrence had a really rough 2024 and he's like 37
who is grant nip? the longball shot threw me threw a loop as i assumed nip was the one pitching... and the pitcher was a southpaw!
Austin Shenton plays first base too, probably better than he plays third. Not hurting for # of first baseman, hurting for quality of first baseman
Morales probably not up because there’s no path to the Ms this year. Don’t want him in the pen. Evans could be an emergency starter being forced up, and Garcia could be a reliever.
Depressed this team didn’t add more this offseason
