never in my life would i thought there would be led headlights all across the board, gives the premium look and feel as much as it can be done in an eco subcompact
@@forcedhaircut Ehh for $20k is not a bad deal maybe even lower with some negotiations. If you meticulously maintain the cvt with fluid changes ever 20-30k it will be just fine. Change the engine oil every 5k too.
This car (and the Sentra) are a breath of fresh air when the average car is now 48k. They're both good rides and you can put the money you didn't spend to better use.
Is nice I am definitely looking for something affordable working from home and not doing much driving this looks like a win . Loved the video & I must say I am sold .
I think you should consider doing half normal driving and half spirited driving in these videos. I loved when you accelerated in the beginning of the drive around 2k rpm, I can't tell a difference on video when cars are floored everywhere. Many people including me almost never go above 3k rpm for most of our normal driving, but a 0-60 is still nice to see in a review ofc.
If you really want the base 5 speed Versa you have to move fast. Almost all are sold while they are in transit to the dealer. I bought mine while it was in pre-transit. I guess its still in Mexico getting it assembled. Yup I don't think I'll be disappointed buying a car with so many great reviews site unseen and never drove one;)
You and me both man. Doesn’t seem like Nissan or really anyone is going towards “performance” with any of their non sports cars anymore. Manufacturers have to be getting squeezed right now but as an enthusiast, I really hope that changes soon!
A turbo is just another part to break down later, along with intercooler, waste gate and everything else that's involved. They are keeping it simple and I like that.
@@TheUtuber999 Yeah, no turbo is one of the things that sold me on my Versa manual last August. Turbo puts way more wear and tear on the engine. Keep it simple, keep it serviced, and it should last for MANY years.
Change the fluid + paper filter every 30k and clean the magnets and sludge in the pan every other fluid change and you shouldn't need to worry about it.

It really does help level it up! 👍🏼
@@WTFCRLT1 it kinda takes your mind off the transmission nightmares down the line when you’re so busy looking at how upscale it looks

W.T.F Car Reviews. Nuclear heater for the inside of the car, once again! Good Luck!
P.s. It might be a good idea to give the IP robot a rest!
Good review and POV drive. Great color. One of the last of vanished sedans. Guess it's Wait & See if Nissan stays in business??🤔🤔🤔
Fingers crossed!
They'll be in business. Nissans not gonna just die like that.Mitsubishi isn't dead.So why Nissan?
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it! 👍🏼

All these features for lowest price available among all the cars .. really great deal .. I
Will go for it
I wonder if the artificial shifts what affects the longevity of that CVT, otherwise i would use it in sport mode.

Your the master. Lets do the last of the 5 speeds?
Always felt a turbo in this thing would be amazing with the lighter weight and maybe AWD

that Jatco CVT is the Deal Breaker
that's the only nissan that comes with manual
Only in the base model though. Not the SV.
I vote for the Versa S instead, manual transmission, no CVT!
I gotta get my hands on that!!
does this have the new gen cvt
Drive it nicely, and service CVT every 30,000 miles.
@@mikem.8487Amen. The UA-cam CVT know it alls need to get a life.

Nissan will discontinue the Versa 5 speed in 2026 so end of an era.
