I never understood this "can pull off those colors" thing. It's not like it takes a special kind of ability or dexterity to wear clothing of any color. I'll never understand fashion people and fashion talk - don't mind me.
I just think nobody should want to pull off those colors.
I think JK is awesome: intelligent, talented, hard-working, athletic, charming, handsome. I don't get his fashion choices, but it's not about me

This movie was worth every penny. There was heart and soul put into this movies and you can tell. Great job to John and the crew!!

The first Quiet Place was brilliant, so looking forward to the second instalment.

Excellent movie. My only beef is that I felt really self conscious eating my popcorn and nachos.
The Aliens at point blank, couldn't hear people's heartbeats, but they could hear clanking bottles from miles away... it's a beautiful film all the same

Not really surprising. Krasinski got a lot of backlash last year when he sold the show's concept for millions. For many, it really negated and tainted the feeling and legacy of the show, subsequently changing their opinion of John. Giving them the impression that he wasn't actually doing the show to "bring a bit of happiness back to the world" as he claimed and that it was just another job and cash grab for him. Regardless of the fact that many people don't care a bit about his deal (myself included), many people were quite upset and felt betrayed by the sale. Not surprising he didn't want to bring that up while trying to curry positive press attention for his movie. Colbert briefly joked about it on his show, and Krasinski looked uncomfortable in response.

I had tickets to see A Quiet Place 2 last March and was gutted that it got cancelled. Now have tickets for Monday and I can't wait!!!!

It was a terrific movie. Especially in a theater. Was great to be back…smell the popcorn(though it was so tense i didn’t eat it)and just feel the effect of the movie on everyone in the theater.
I usually like Seth as an interviewer and I know he and John go way back. They always have great chemistry and riff off each other really well. Admittedly Seth seemed a bit off in this interview. I assume it's just him being rusty with in-studio guests. I can't believe he's that irked by John not doing the 2020 interview. He sure did re-enforce it during this interview though.

@@mondhase5915 Well, I still say it's on you. I would never watch a promotional interview if I hadn't seen the previous movie. Same thing goes if I'm not all caught up on a TV series or if I haven't played all the way through the previous game. Actors (and hosts) regularly spoil things from previous installments, it's not like it's something new.

Not weird at all. Actors go on all the talk shows, at the same time, to promote their movies (Colbert, then Meyers, then Fallon, then Kelly, etc.). Therefore the timing makes perfect sense in both cases. Duh.

I have to write to Krasinski about the ending to part 2 😂 I hate the way he left it but I loved the movie! Jumped on almost every jumpy part. A quiet place is one of my favorite horror movies! I love the fact he waited for theaters.

Right? John was scheduled to be on the show later in the week of the worldwide lockdown. Everyone already heard cautions to social distance by then. John had just done a big premiere for his movie that weekend with a lot of reporters and dozens of press interviews in a room. Would have been irresponsible if he HAD shown up in studio.
