Brad..you the man..I was pulling for you for sure..you're so humble and that's why people love you...thank you for the insight and honesty on how the game is played..love and respect to you and Kyle
Honestly it looked like you were throwing it great. You consistently hit the pocket way more than others I have watched. I agree with Russo. You had one of the best looks in the building. The pins just didn't want to fall for you. If you got a bit better carry you are looking at a top 30 finish. You prepared for the lanes well, threw good shots, and controlled what you can control. I would say that is a great week. If the pins just carried a bit more or you had one less low game you are in this thing. I would say that was a very positive week.
You're probably pretty much on spot with Brad. One big problem though. Too many "ifs" in the story. No ifs and everyone bowls great. True or not. Biggest little word in the English language----IF
Thanks for the content Brad and team. It’s not easy being on public display when you aren’t getting the results you want given how hard you worked, but you put forth a great effort. Keep up the grind and the results will come.
I havent bowled in almost 10years but still watch it religiously. I must say i love watching the pros struggle not because i want you all to be miserable but watch the little adjustments and little hand intricacies that you all do shot to shot.. Great job brad..
Great stuff Brad! You really have no idea how brutal they are until you bowl one. Just curious if you saw anyone with urethane on the lip or was anyone using a ton of surface? Seemed like fallback 20 was the play for most that scored well?
Still the best behind the scenes look on UA-cam.. and thanks for letting the music of the pins be out in front of the subtle background music. It actually feels like a bowling video that way.. at least to this old crab.
Brad - you are REALLY good at going straight up the lane - some pairs you probably needed a jump up in a bit up 10-12 where the gutter was not finishing as well (lanes 27-28)
@@preastlake13 I totally agree. I have been trying to comment often that he always looks so confident with that line when the lanes allow it. I do think if Brad unlocks that shot he can be the next Norm. We should start a trend of telling Brad he is the next norm Duke. Don’t give up the pocket, keep it simple, and win tournaments
Seeing you fire it up 2nd arrow with little to no movement looked like how I throw my Tropical Surge on the burnt-out dusty dry lanes I bowl on at league every Sunday night in the Chicago area (which, by the way, good luck to both of you in the Chicago tournament, might stop by and check it out)!
Biggest regret when I was bowling hardcore was not bowling the US open or the masters. But good god just to make it to the open let alone make the is super hardcore. But love your channel and you bowled good even though you didnt make cut
I would love to see the house bowlers who think they are good bowl on this shot. I average 216 in league and I know I'm not that good. However, there are guys who average 225+ on an easy shot and think they walk on water. Those are the same guys who wonder how they have ever left a 10 pin in their lives.
Saw a clip yesterday asking players to describe the US Open in one word. I heard words like difficult, brutal, death, and even FUN. I was waiting for someone to say Narley. 😉🤣
One of my local alleys puts on like a three month tourament and one night is us open I hated bowling on that pattern but what is funny you bowl three events out of the three months you get into the finals week and the finals week was house on one lane and us open on the other I won that one year for 400 dollars but I hate bowling on the US open
@BradandKyleBowl seem to go down the lane good. Reason I'm asking is I throw just like that right up the first arrow. So was it heaven oil or light oil Thanks for the quick reply.
You don't agree with Stuart Williams that you are over thinking about elbow, release, this and that and not just bowling. Stu thinks a lot of your game and even talked about you on the "Beef and Barnzy" show. I say that because the first thing you talked about is your elbow ... I want to see you and Kyle on the TV show soon 👍👍👍
Why doesn't USBC stream qualifying for free so people can watch and donate? It makes no sense. It would open up a huge demographic of people to bowling and allow PBA to get donations and reach way more people. Qualifying has always had this veil of secrecy and now hidden behind a paywall.
I like bowling. Where I bowl, the rule is : " when it's recreational, enjoy the spare. When it's competitive, if you miss the spare, get punched in the head."
Lanes that don't hook should be the to play because they are the most predictable. All it takes is aim. That removes a bunch of variables from the equation.
Any word on Brandon Novak, I have heard so many things but haven't been able to find anything explicit (as in definitive) on his report. Also if this is a discussion that you guys really don't want in ur comment section just delete it. No hard feelings. I understand.
I always assumed when they say 100 over, that they were 100 pins over the cut line. But right at the beginning he says the cut line will be about 100 over. So my question is, over what? Lol
Over a 200 average. Anything over 200 is plus; under is minus. So if your first game is 212 you are +12. Then if your second game is 195 that’s -5 so your cumulative score is +7.
Okay Brad. I’m putting you on the spot. I’m no pro but consider my self accomplished. Again not disrespect but I don’t understand why you played the gutter when the guys scoring were way inside. I watched you all 3 days FYI and on yhe “toughest” day it looked like you were just playing safe. Again, I’m not trying to be a dick but why the gutter when clearly today was a 4 arrow out 12 maybe with some tip over in the back?
My UA-cam experience is much better when Brad and Kyle are on tour
Brad and who?
@@aboveaverageMidG Not ah LOL. Poor Kyle.

really enjoyed following this run. always entertaining watching you bowl!

Keep at it brother I feel things are turning around for u!
I will be going there on the first weekend in June. I bowled it back in 2021. It was definitely a different pattern and more challenging.
Even knowing that the patterns are bonkers, watching you guys struggle is kind of enjoyable. It's like watching PGA golfers hit a hosel rocket.
This pattern feels like what I bowl on every week so I’ll admit I got a little enjoyment seeing the struggle.
Still the best behind the scenes look on UA-cam.. and thanks for letting the music of the pins be out in front of the subtle background music. It actually feels like a bowling video that way.. at least to this old crab.

Keep grinding! Those lanes looked brutal!
I don't know about anyone else but I love watching Brad roll it up from the right side. Reminds me of Norm for some reason.
100%. I comment on this on almost every video now. He always looks so good when he goes up the right side.
@@CurdBros He just seems way more relaxed and comes off his hand so much better.

Royal Pin Western is about 30 minutes South. The lanes play like Woodland and they havent been busy this week.
4:11 Does anyone know what ball this is? Thank you.
Not sure, I think it might be the Exotic Gem.
Bro it’s brutal. Keep at it man. You’ll get better.
I was there watching day 3 qualifiers the shot was super tough great watching you though!
You looked good out there today!😊
There is a place called Allstar Lanes, like 20 minutes away from Woodland its a good placed to practice
Every day I practice harder and harder to be as smooth as Simonsen 😆 shot at 4:39 was so clean
Can you guys list the oil patterns you play, I can't find anything on how to play the Crown Jewell Pattern?
Reminds me of the old Peterson Classic. Pattern????!!! Oil applied with a mop. Strategy? Hit the head pin not full and hope for any easy spare.
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Brad and Kyle
Brandon bohn has the most free wheel swing.
When is brad miller and kyle Sherman going to be in the tournament for the pba tour championships
We’re talking about practice!
Do you ever try to throw Brooklyn? It seems that all Brooklyn balls carried?
Watching these videos make me miss bowling the local 8 gamers and shit
Biggest regret when I was bowling hardcore was not bowling the US open or the masters. But good god just to make it to the open let alone make the is super hardcore. But love your channel and you bowled good even though you didnt make cut
Looks like the shot was better from inside. From the track zone on left.
I would love to see the house bowlers who think they are good bowl on this shot. I average 216 in league and I know I'm not that good. Hey, how's Kyle doing? Good I hope!
is the only way to watch simo to get bowltv? i wish he had a channel
What was the pattern called?

Yay woodland lanes
just go back to the old days when we were lucky to get 3 or 4 boards of hook 😄

Brad, looks like you are popping up at release.
Have to ask...why not knock the shine off that ball?
Gonna need a belmo shammy for next year
I would also need an E J shammy!
What ball were you using for this video
Magic Gem and Summit Peak
@BradandKyleBowl seem to go down the lane good. Reason I'm asking is I throw just like that right up the first arrow. So was it heaven oil or light oil Thanks for the quick reply.
@@ricky3002 It was heavy oil! If he played that line on light oil he would take out the 7 pin or throw it in the left gutter, haha.
@adamquazza1936 ok, thanks, that would be a game one ball for me on house shot.
How come Nick Pate isn’t mugging it up for the camera anymore?
Simo is playing a different pattern than everybody else.
Come bowl the masters this Saturday in Anderson, Indiana would love to see you there.
Have you ever intentionally thrown Brooklyn to try and strike? Just watching the video, it looked like the right play?
HOPE YOU GET YOUR FIRST TITTLE THIS YEAR,,AND MANY MORE LOL😅😅😅😅
I mean They Cash in many many events, plus this is the absolute most brutal patterns They Bowl on, it's the US Open, not sure why the Hatred...
Indiana masters is saturday if you want to spectate
Why are there bags on the lanes?
Those lanes weren't being used. That was the ball storage area.
80-lane center!!!
Where is Kyle at? Is he bowling the open? Haven’t watched the channel for a bit so I’m a little behind!
he’s injured he went through a lot of surgery and he didn’t feel up to bowling the us open

Make your spares kids! This looked like some of the most difficult conditions imaginable. Did anyone just throw plastic at the 1-3 pocket?
what happened to Kyle?
He is hurtin!
He's injured 😢
They talked about it in the last video
Brad's the real life krillin 🤣
I understand the US Open is supposed to be hard but making the oil patterns this hard is almost unwatchable.
What happen to kyle

Hurt!
😮

slow it down`1
The average league bowler who averages 230 would have a hard time averaging 180 in this tournament. Wow!
Where is Kyle at he didn't qualify
Is Kyle injured again 😕
Simo isn’t haven’t a problem. The cut wasn’t even close to 100 over try way less. Throw it better
