Kabalagala is my home town next to Addis Ababa. I lived there for 7 months before I moved to Canada in 2021. As you mentioned, it appears to be the home town of many Habesha and Somali people as well. Given that you guys have amazing hospitality, it is not a surprise if someone prefers Kampala to Nairobi for immigration. In fact, that is why many Habeshas love Kampala all in all. I never forget other localities such as Kololo, Nakulabi, Naguru, Kibuli, Bunga, Soya, Kasanga, etc. Overall, you never feel alienated in Kampala. You respect everyone and I suppose, you deserve much gratitude for such a noble virtue. I hope, one day, I will be back to visit my former village, Kabalagala, and appreciate the nature of Mignogno once more.
Many thanks as you gave me an opportunity to look back part of my life's journey through your youtube.
I wish to see a prosperous Uganda.

Habesha people are peaceful, they do not engage in anti community or activities that harm society. Those people you see in the street, they are tired of war and being conscript for life in their country of origin. They stick together because they cannot live without cultural food injera and they are highly social people they enjoy each others company. Most of them I would say they are in transition to western Europe or North America. Thanks for sharing the video.

I completely agree with and there is nothing like homestead home. But at same time, I desperate when see lot of negligence and wrong headed public survices do to curruption, incompetence, dereliction of duty, etc. starting from local admin to national institutions everywhere like healthcare, education, roads and public tranport and so on. Mind you, I read from somewhere that Uganda was way ahead developmentally and every other socio-economic aspects than, for example Malaysia or South Korea, in 1960s when both were coming from the yoke of colonialism scrounge, but today they are not even close or comparable. Look at Kenya and Tanzania who have never faced wars since their independence they are now far ahead.
Despite the challenges we have the biggest influx of people from all over and that isn’t an easy task. Tanzania doesn’t allow such. So instead give back to Ug by praying for it.

how do you knew that there are less ethiopians than The others? interms of stability Uganda is better than Ethiopia. That is not the only factor there could be also other factors ethiopians could lead them to live and work in ugand. You dont have to brag about Ethiopia. Mr Bekele

@Samuel, let me ask you something, if things are good in Ethiopia for Ethiopians why are they all over? I dont have to remind you Ethiopians are the most complained about in South Africa...Ethiopian birr is weaker than Eritrean nakfa with the global currency so what is the point you are trying to make?..As we speak the 4 African countries whose economy's are in big decline in Africa are Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa and Tunisia...it is ok to accept Ethiopia isnt doing well, there is nothing wrong to go to neighboring country to work and do business...

    W. T. F... Ethiopia 🇪🇹 GDP in 2024 is $ 205 billion.. How come Ethiopias🇪🇹 go to Uganda 🇺🇬 which is poor country with GDP of $50 billion.... Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is 3 times richer than Uganda 🇺🇬.....Ethiopias 🇪🇹 econmy is naw double of that of kenya 🇰🇪 let alone Uganda 🇺🇬.... Kenya 🇰🇪 GDP $104billon...... So the migrates in Uganda 🇺🇬 are from very poor countrys like eritrea and Somalia.. Not from Ethiopia 🇪🇹

As Eritrean, we migrate coz both politica andl economic reason but more of the first than the later. We never ever wished in a million years we would want to leave our mother country to live and try to survive and to fit in a foreigne land. We would never do that if we had a choice.
