I find it so interesting watching your low buy updates and the diary looks super useful and a total bargain ☺️
It really is! Thank you :)
13:32 Actually a wee bit before this.....but I had to say I ADORE long books.....ADORE them 😅
Maybe I just haven't read the right ones??
so glad you’re loving Fiona Cummins, I really hoped you would! well done on zero spend days across both accounts! £895 isn’t steep for rent these days, especially for a house/bungalow and so much outdoor space xxxx
Thank you ... she just has this way of writing that sucks me in :)
Enjoyed watching this vid. Love your 2nd hand bargains. The diary was a such good value with the staff discount too. Hope your work week goes well. How you manage to look after Nana etc & work with chronic illness is fantastic. I have arthritis so understand how tricky it can be at times.
But hey it’s cooler this week week hurray lol 😂
Thank you, I am settling into a routine with it all and it does help that my employer is really good so I have strict times etc I can and cant work and with my husbands support, it is working for us at the moment :)
Truly Madly Guilty was a weak one by Liane Moriarty and Nine Perfect Strangers was a mess :- D My favorite ones were Big Little Lies, The Husband's Secret and The Last Anniversary, haven't read the Hypnotist one and some other ones but I haven't felt like picking up a book by her in a few years 😅 The spending breakdown was fun, I also track all of my expenses :- )
Thank you! I am hoping to do that as a standalone video once a month from next month :)
A great vlog as always, good news about the kidney stone. I've never tried it, but dry brushing is meant to help tired legs. Really glad you are enjoying work. Loving the low spend organising.
If you and Victoria both enjoyed When I Was Ten then I have to read it! X
Thank you! I will give it a go! Hope you enjoy when I was 10 :)
@@booksandbargains I'll have a look out for it on my next charity shop binge x
Hi Charlotte great vlog as always. That nail colour is gorgeous, it suits you.
Regarding stomach/ bowel, adhesions etc from surgeries. What helped me is giving up all fruits .I don’t eat fried food or greasy food. I still eat meat & fish . I just try to be mindful what I buy & how I cook it . There was a lot of trial & error regarding diet & too many bowel blockages !
💛💖
Thank you, yeah I am in a bit of that situation at the moment where it is trial and error. I have stopped eating fruit and I KNOW I need to stop fried food too
@@booksandbargains trust me I know how hard it is. Also I do still suffer with blockages & issues with stomach & bowels even though I do the above. It’s helped me & my daily living immensely not cured me. It can never just be about the diet can it , when the body has had trauma & full of adhesions from so much surgery. Two other things that can help moving your body, as we know with chronic pain ... Also drinking lots of water, hard to do especially when you already live on the toilet! I just wanna be pain free, curl up with a book eat fish & chips ,drink tea & of course have some cake 💛
@@booksandbargainsHi Charlotte I hope you’re doing ok
I just wanted to say thanks for introducing me to the simple things magazine, read a couple of issues now. It’s so much of what I love & no celebrities fast fashion & all that jazz . Take care
HMRC is bigger than 300 pages 😉 however, I’m glad you DNF’d a book that wasn’t working for you 💛
Ok there ARE some exceptions to the rule.
I've found compression stockings very helpful when on my feet at work for 6-8 hours, it really helps with my restless legs that I get more in winter than any other time of the year. Congratulations on finishing your second week in your new job!
Thank you!! they came yesterday and so this morning I have had them on and they feel REALLY comfy!
💕😀xx thanks so much for a thoroughly enjoyable podcast. Put some of your book choices on my tbr. We’re stuck in our caravan in winds and rain in the south west at the moment, waiting for improvements till we can go home☹️😤 thursday hopefully🤞🤞🙏🙏lots of love 🥰
Oh no sorry to hear you are stuck! Hope you have got home safe!
@@booksandbargains 😀💕xx yes, home safely yesterday 🙏 To the Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds in October. Lots of time to read and walk. 👍🤞lots of love🥰😎
@@suenicholls5446 sounds ideal to me!!
You've been doing a lot of reading and seeing what is or isn't staying! It seems like the right choice for you to let go liane moriarity if they just aren't working for you. Barry M nail polish are good quality.
That’s my big aim actually to just find authors that I know are for me 🤞🏻
Great vlog .I watched Nine perfect strangers and found it odd. So would
Not fancy the book.
I was really enjoying it at first but it just kept getting sillier and sillier.
😃👌
I read Nine Perfect Strangers and didn't like it either. I haven't picked up another Lianne Moriarty since. She's not an author for me.
Yeah I think myself and Lianne are over now haha
