Tremp is a municipality and town in the province of Lleida , in the autonomous community of Catalonia , Spain . Capital of the region called Pallars Jussá , it is the largest Catalan municipality, with 302.47 km². It has a population of 5,906 inhabitants ( INE 2017). In 1884 it received the title of city.
