What if in this au Anastacius and Claude’s father had changed his mind about Anastacius being the emperor and chose Claude instead. Anastacius when he learned become angry. That’s when he met Aeternitas. They planned to kill Claude and his lover Diana. Claude knew that Anastacius was planning something, so he sent Diana away and made sure no one except Felix, Lily and a few other trusted people know about Diana being pregnant. Anastacius sent someone to poison Diana (of course he never knew that she was pregnant), while he killed Claude. Claude faked his death and went into hiding. That’s when he learned about Diana being poisoned and had died while giving birth to their daughter, who almost didn’t make it. Claude was furious, not at Athanasia, but at his brother for killing his wife and for almost killing his daughter. So for next 14 years he started planning his revenge. He was gaining support from other nobles to overthrow Anastacius. While doing that, he also had his daughter help him. She was happy to do so as to avenge her mother. Their plan was to have Athanasia pretend to be Anastacius daughter and gain his favour. It would easy to pull it off as Anastacius has had many lovers and they made it look like one of them was Athanasia’s mother. It was easy to fake, cause not only does she have the royal jewel eyes, but Athanasia looks more like Anastacius and Claude compared to Jennette who, other than her eyes, looks more like her mother. Since Anastacius never knew that Diana was pregnant he wouldn’t think that she was Claude daughter, since Claude is ‘dead’. (And if he did, he would do what LP Claude did and pretend that she is his daughter). Anastacius never really like Penelope and was using her to get to Claude. He never cared that she died or that she gave birth to Jennette. He didn’t bother to kill her as he needed an heir. Until he had another child he would keep Jennette, but wouldn’t love her. Jennette grew up like the original LP Athanasia, trying all kinds of ways to get her fathers love. She knew that he only cared for her as she the only heir, but she still wants his love. It was only until the debutant when her whole world shattered. Athanasia was introduced as another heir to the throne and as Anastacius’s other daughter. All the nobles took an interest towards her since she looked more like the Obelia Royal family, blonde and with the royal jewel eyes, compared to Jennette. Anastacius also took interest and welcomed her as his daughter. He treated better then Jennette but didn’t really love, of cause like in LP Claude, Anastacius eventually learned to love her. Jennette didn’t like this at all, even more so when she saw that Anastacius loved Athanasia. She tried everything to gain his favour even tried to outdo Athanasia, but nothing worked. She grew to be jealous and angry of Athanasia. She hated her. Everything else went according to LP timeline. Claude and Anthanasia eventually got their revenge, overthrown Anastacius and got rid of both him and Jennette
Trust me I don’t even know how long it me to write this, not to mention I went back to edit it a few times due some spelling and grammatical errors. Any time I read/watch something I always have different scenarios/what if’s in my head that I would have like to have happened. This was just one au I had in my head after watching the video. 😊

Actually, this version of the story makes a lot more sense than the original. Since Athy has golden hair and Jeanette has brown hair, and considering that Anastacius might not fully remember the past (maybe), he would likely see the golden hair and blue diamond eyes as being more similar to his own, rather than associating with the brown hair.
