- Finally. brought out the Turbo 4.8l ls swapped Ford Foxbody Mustang to do some 1/8th mile no prep drag racing at the local track!

I love drag racing. Great to see you try it. Your channel got me into drifting and I always thought you would do great at Drag racing . It would be real cool to get with @Metigulous for some Fox body upgrades. His RX is crushing it at no prep .

Very cool. I recommend installing a good 3800 - 4000 rpm 10-inch race convertor, along with a Trans Go
Manual Shift Control kit. The manual valve body kit fits 1993 -2008.
4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E GM transmissions
Get a set of Viking front struts for front end go old school cause it still works
Turbo400 with a brake foot braking gets ya no where and inconsistent launching
4l80e, and yeah we rushed the build last year with the car for race week so we didnt ad a trans brake then, didnt really do much with it this yea. Trans brake and some gears and it should rip
The Fox body has to stay around, it has so much potential. I know you got motivated seeing all the others go down the track.

Yea if you want to take this more seriously then those bc coils going to have to go… put a better rear gear and add and trans break and that car will actually be pretty decent!

Sweet! Yeah sloppy spool mod will be tough for that. What trans brake are you looking at doing?
Look for some pour your own puddle and get some traction compound. All kinds of brands. Stripper Glitter is one. I think Azn and Farmtruck sell one. But those work better than water burnouts. Put a little jiz down to make it stick a tiny bit.

It would actually be really awesome to see you guys get into doing the no prep drag stuff it would make you a really wide range youtube channel a little of everything you got your drift stuff honda stuff big engine drag car no prep drag racing etc your car is close to be competitive just need a little more work into the car. That 3rd gear downshift crap you have gas gotta go definitely need a trans brake long travel suspension which isnt as bad to drive on as you would think you could still do rocky mtn race week and then obviously a big factor in being competitive is your power plant. Get your ls worked over by a performance place so you make around 1300-1500ish and make room for a 28x10.5
No prep is a whole different animal when it comes to racing and was cool to see you doing it out there! Would of been cool to see it on race week but understand the decision not to go its a tuff event to push a untested car through

U need 2nd gear leave and the trans brake so u can leave in second so u will be able to leave harder with the possibility of LESS wheel spin
Trevor you need to better your 60ft/ Launch, you launch soft then try to reel them in. In competitive racing that's terrible, some cars launch and go and you'd never catch up if your launching like this, just needa get more seat time, learning where the car likes to Launch and keep the power going is going to help you tremendous. Everyone you recorded, they take off from the hit and rely on the grip of tires. But once you put the trans brake that'll be a big help as well
Yeah my car does not have a proper trans brake like most of those guys, I am using a 'sloppy 3rd gear spool mod", it puts the transmission in 3rd gear, then when i release the button it downshifts to 1st and takes off, but is very inconsistent. Looking at 4l80e trans brakes now
@@MotionAutoTv yeah a good trans brake and some seat time and you'll be great. You have a lot of support and help from some fast guys so I can't wait to see how the fox body rips once its dialed

Need to remove the peddles from the rears after the burnout, I get it's no prep but at least sweep the burnout box :).
need more front shock rebound on shock point the nose up and slam the back like the camaro
You should read comments more. I told you you needed a ling travel set up in the front to transfer weight to your rear tires. They have it diwn fir what it takes to get a fix bidt to hiok in ni prep. Like i said before look at Raggedy Anns website his mustang is one if the best in no prep on the east coast. Thise Ohio racers know what to do. Street racing channel and hus s10 is the same. It lifts the front end looking like its on the edge of hanging hoops byt it hoiks and flies down the track.

I see your talking about 4l80e trans have you ever looked into a 2speed power glide if you look around you can find them around the same price and power glide is better in my opinion but it’s your build do what works for you I will make sure to watch your videos and see the route you go

No prep and street racing whole different set up them any other kinda racing. Definitely got get a trans brake and then suspension set up. Hit up Tin soldier race cars they help you out on the right path.
