      I like the boldness of planting those tall vals in the front and middle, truly gives it that wild, "kelp forest" feel. I actually like tanks that have these sort of careless aesthetic than those manicured, micro managed iwagumi style tanks.

    I like how the rainbows bring a sort of order into the stocking at first glance, but the further you look the more you spot the many different little oddities and rarities.

    A beautifully aquascaped aquarium the depth is amazing especially with all the plants. Seems to be light by the sunlight. If not it must be some highly illuminated lights. This aquarium is definitely a dream tank. It looks so natural and truly relaxing to watch.

    I did not read the title of the video before watching. While watching it I was wondering how many gallons it was. I didn’t think it was 1000 gallons. I’m blown away. Beautifully captured, edited, and the choice of music fit so well. Thank you for sharing this beautiful aquarium.

    Wow, I believe that Valisneria Gigantea growing straight upwards 5 or 6 foot with stem plants thriving in between indicates the sheer size of the tank. Amazing!

    I envy this tank because its full of boesemani rainbowfish. The fish inhabits Papua, Indonesia and I live in the same country but its so hard for me to get them. LOL. Ive been their fan since I was 10 or 11 when they came up on a post-stamp one of a letter I got from friend. Yes I live already before Ymail or Gmail. LOL
    Great tank btw. Boeseman's swimming around those lushful vallisneria gives me... arghh... goosebumps! which is nice

    Not often do you see people keeping Biotodoma cupido (not sure I spelled that right). They're a really pretty fish if you give em a chance to thrive

    I can only dream of having this size. Still not enough for full grown vallisneria, it seems. 😂

    It's beautiful, but how do rainbowfish fare into what's supposedly the soft, acidic water required for discus and tetras to thrive?
    On the other hand, even territorial, aggressive Cichlids look quiet and comfortable having 1,000 gal.s / 4,000 lt.s aof available space.

    What are the tall scruffy plants growing tall next to the Vallisneria Gigante?

    • @TankTested

      I believe it is a Rotala species. Perhaps rotundifolia, but I’m not sure.

    Is the substrate just sand?

    • @TankTested
      @TankTested  3 роки тому +1

      I assume that there is a base of some aquasoil in certain areas that is capped in sand. But It is possible they are just using sand and supplementing with root tabs.

    Absolutely gorgeous, but discus ain't gonna ruin the landscape by fighting some of those plants ?

  • @BradK02
    @BradK02 3 роки тому

    Amazing tank but I think the fish choice could be better. The fish are great but I feel when there's too much if a good thing, it take away the awe factor .
    I love the wild planted look , it's my favorite style. But there should just be a little less show piece fish, so you just get glimpses of it and it's not in your face all the time.

  • @tanbryan445
    @tanbryan445 3 роки тому

    I hope they remove the discus. They are not going to do well with rainbow fish being more aggressive feeders. Been there done that.
