'I am spitefully living my best life'
Mood, Briar, Mood.
As a disabled person, this is basically the sum-up of it...tbh I hate it when people come to me and start asking questions about my disabilities, especially when I do something they don't expect me to do due to me having a walker and a cane.
If it makes you feel better i would probably bully you the same amount as others.
Have you ever had to like- comfort abled bodied people after telling them about *your* disability? Cause I have a severe chronic pain disorder and sometimes when I tell abled-bodied people about it they get rlly sad for some reason and I have to comfort THEM lmao
@@misskittyfantastico3473 i’m sorry- you have to wh a t
Same dude, as a disabled person that happens to me too. I did get use to it and do answer people questions about it but I pretty much live pretty good life. Stay positive. :)
@@pippincerealboi6234 I love you
"I am spitefully living my best life"
As a disabled person, this is totally relatable
this is a skill i wish to learn
My sister is in a wheelchair and has to deal with people saying stupid shit like this to her all the time. So accurate
I’m so glad I got to voice Spiderleg in this! It was very very fun!
“I’m so sorry that you are disabled.”
“Wow, thank you for telling me that a I’m paralyzed. I didn’t know until this point in time. Thanks.”
I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!
This video honestly is the perfect example. Like I don’t deal with this as often as my twin but still. You wouldn’t believe what my brothers gotten said to him because he’s in a wheelchair. Stuff like asking “what’s wrong with you?” Or “Or what *happened* to you?” Like its this giant tragedy that he’s in a wheelchair, and they’ll say “I’m sorry” when he tells them what his disability is.
Please don’t pity us. We have no reason to be sad or depressed because we are disabled. We are living our best lives :3
Hell yes!! Becoming disabled can be super traumatic (partly because of how people treat you totally different) but *being* disabled isn’t a tragedy!
@@misskittyfantastico3473 Well personally my brother and I were born with our disability. But it must be very traumatic to become disabled, I give my support and love to anyone who is disabled, regardless of how you are or how it happened
Briarlight being pretty confused by all these haters
This turned out awesome!!! I am so happy to see warrior cats disability content that’s relatable to actual disabled folk and so thankful that you made it happen!!And voice acting for Briarlight was actually a lot of fun! 💕
The one dislike is Lionblaze
BRIARGIRL GETS A VIDEO! BRIARGIRL GETS A VIDEO! BRIARGIRL GETS A VIDEO! BRIARGIRL GETS A VIDEO!
Of of the managers at a nearby supermarket is wheelchairbound, he's also easily the most competent person there.
Having a disability is like having a weakness to overcome
At least, thats how I treat my own, so its not exactly daunting to try and fight but hey
if a fictional cat can do it, why the hell cant I
Even if you can’t overcome a disability completely, that’s okay, too. You’re still awesome, even within the limitations of your disability.
this is really accurate unfortunately, idk why people are like this
I'm a t1 diabetic, and the few times I mention it online people's reactions are always "oh sorry" or "oh that sucks" and like... idk it just rubs me the wrong way... they probably don't really mean it is this way since they just don't understand it, but it feels like they are saying "oh your life must suck" and basically the things they were saying to the briarlight in the video
I want to be able to just talk about being diabetic normally cause it is LITERALLY my life, it's something I have to take care of everyday, but people never know how to react, so I just end up never talking about it. and it's frustrating (especially so with how tiring and annoying it can be) becuase that's a huge part of my life I'm unable to talk about.
recently I've decided I'm gonna talk about it more openly cause people need to understand. I'm tired of not being able to speak about it.
absolutely! i have a few disabilities that I refrain from talking about too much for the same reason. but i implore you to talk openly about your diabetes! /srs /gen
ty for the comment and have a nice day :D
Briarlight is a treasure that we must cherish.
canon briarlight voice!!!💕💕💕
Briar's voice in this really fits her
Jaybriar 💙
"I am spitefully living my best life"
the voice fits briarlight so well!
A REFERENCE TO THAT ONE TIKTOK-
"so we come across this skull full of teeth, and this dumbass goes 'ya think its a bird?"
(its something like that)
but like-
BriarLight was not having BerryNose and SpiderLegs stuff 🙄
ok and?
It was actually Berrynose not Daisy
@@Galaxy-Emu oops thanks
@@sol-xz1hg Lmao, what's the point of your comment? Are you trying to seem "cool" by being an asshole or something?
I dont know why so many people get this URGE to pester disabled people over our "quality of life"
I have had complete strangers come up to me and just start saying the most bizarre, rude, intrusive and _plain fucking weird_ shit! Every time its astonishing tbh, like, *_excuse_** me????*
"Oh you poor thing!! You must be miserable, having to wear all of those" _[vague gesturing towards my wrist brace]_
Actually, i know it's an easy mistake to make but... if you look a _little bit closer_ you'll find that I'm waiting in line at Walmart and not, in fact, collapsed in an emergency hospital's hallway! Easy mistake, I know its very hard to tell the difference♡♡
Also i don't know how to drill this into peoples heads but "you're so strong to live like this, I think if I was in your shoes I'd have killed myself, haha!!" is _*not* a funny quirky compliment and just makes me want to smack you with boardwalk lumber actually. _
As somebody with a brain disorder/disability this is why I don’t tell people almost anything
This is illegally underrated
I mean come on guys spiderleg cant imagine NOT being able to use his beautiful legs
*I. Love. Everything. About. This.*
Edit: 2 Years ago I wrote a comment about how I dislike the Erin Hunters including dark topics in their series without reprimanding them as their books are intended for impressionable children. I also included that I personally dislike it when authors continue to create books purely for money. I still stand by these opinions, but I’m changing my comment since it was badly worded and came across like I was “attacking” the Erin Hunters.
I feel like if they just targeted it towards young adults/adults, like it should be, it’d be fine.
I dont see the issue with the last point? What book series DOESNT continue after it makes a bunch of money?
@@shrimp1429 Harry Potter, that had 7 books each for one school year at Hogwarts, Assassin’s Apprentice, a trilogy, The 3rd Wave, a trilogy, and The Enemy series by Charlie Higson to name a few
@@mobolite Harry potter did milk the money by making a lot of merch and movies though. And like i said i dont see it as a problem, especially books which you can find for free as pdfs online. Who cares if they continue? Do what i did and just dont read the newer ones then.
Hate Warrior cats if you want, though I don't appreciate this portrayal. Writers don't exist to entertain you, so acting like them making money is wrong, when that is literally the point of writing books, is just cringe.
THIS TURNED OUT SO GOOD!
OwO yasss🥺💞 this will be amazing
It's really nice to see people fighting against the ableism in warrior cats. It's all great when a disability is featured in the book, UNLESS the writer can't feature the ableism right, because it may turn out like Briarlight's situation.
Why does this kinda wanna make you cry???
I love this
Yes. This is the best.
briarlight a voice is PERFECT
How DID lionblaze's stupidity evolve today? Im extremely curious! :3 could someone tell me?
Best Briarlight voice
My every day as a disabled person
I don't recall Spiderleg and Berrynose making these comments, but given that they did,
they aren't exactly characters you're meant to sympathize with or root for. The latter is often shown as an egocentric jerk to pretty much everyone, and the former is rather rough around the edges at best, so I highly doubt the intention is to agree with them. Sandstorm's comment is probably worse if anything, as she is meant to be someone who one roots for.
She making biscuits kskkedkskkskwkw 🥰
My cea at school looked horrified when I told her that one of my ocs is blind lmao
She's kinda weird tbh
Briar is best cat
Erin Hunter is so ableist.
Google translate translated ableist to "tired" for me, and idk if that's a good thing or not
@@KittyanimatesX it means having bad opinions on disabled people.
@@SonarTheBat I was just saying google translate isn't too good at translatinG, I know they're ableist and they get away with selling books again and again
Erin Hunter isn't even a person, just an alias for different authors, so
Omg briarlight bb
Don't even try squish her happiness, you should know that won't work /:(
I don't know disabled people. I'm not disabled. I'm kinda reading the comments and just really trying to know how disabled people feel so I can avoid being rude..
EYYY KITTY MY SISTER ✨💜✨💜 y’all go follow her
This one dislike is from fallen tree
O DISLIKES? totally desvered
