Beautiful scenery and water. "King of New York" sounds like a Netflix gangster series, lol. To manage a win in your Antix with all that flat water, pretty amazing.
Looks like a ton of fun. Nice new colors on the SEND. shirt. When will they show up on the website? You and Chloe are so cute. Of course you are the "King of New York".👑
Would love to see you hit a lot of the creek in the Adirondacks some spring. So many good ones. Sounds like you at least got the bottom moose in (but lost your film) so hopefully that was a good time.
Sweet video. Congrats on King of NY! The FF on the flats makes it look as though you're a superhero (you are.) Would love to make it there next year and meet you.
Labor day is when all the dam releases are, but when the empire state spring snowmelt melt peaks, usually Easter weekend, then some really incredible stuff comes in: the Grass, the Oswegatchie, the independence, fish creek, high water moose, the black gorge bigwater, brokeback gorge, etc. If you time it you can get on most or all of these in a week. The Oswegatchie and Grass in particular are truly world class: truly giant rapids, all somehow runnable, making the moose look diminutive in comparison.
I don't think I've seen anyone paddle so quickly in between rapids. His hands and arms were more of a blur than any ninja. Bet he or any one else, would give anything to be able to really paddle that fast! Sorry about your camera. You seem to be having a little run of bad luck, with your passenger side truck window getting assaulted and other things happening along the way. Let's hope for better luck in future. The colour of that river reminds me of rivers I used to paddle in Wales and Scotland. They always had a heavy tannin load and additionally, they often weren't runnable unless there had been rain, so they tended to be a bit turbid too. That doesn't keep a river from being a fun run though, as we see in this video. I've never been on that river, but it looks like there are some fun runs on it. Can't wait for your next edit. Keep stoked!
@@WhitewaterOutdoors Yep. And I don't know a single whitewater kayaker who wouldn't want fast forward power on flatwater. I'll bet that even Dane wishes he could do it for real.
This was a awesome time, thank you Dane for letting me demo your flow for like 3 days straight 😂
