    So... I know this defeats the purpose of the recipe, but does anyone have any idea how to convert the recipe for a full sized round cake? Like a two-layer 9" round? I want to try making this for my birthday 😅

    Love everything with black sesame! How to adjust the recipe if using a 6” pan? What if witch a 8” ? Thank you 🙏!

    shaping and then breaking the circle was genius, it looked sophisticated and like modern art!

    "An overwhelming amount of cake." There is no such thing, just means cake for later. XD That pause while you were peeking over the counter with the cake cutter was funny. I think I will like to use the black sesame frosting for other things, I feel it could be very versatile. Thinking rolled up in egg bubble waffle or etc.

    Wow, watching you preparing any of these things is incredibly relaxing and encouraging, because you make us feel that we could do a great job baking that, even if we aren't good at baking. Also, it's enjoyable to see you taking care of all the details.✨🤩

    I've made this cake, not a mini version but it's turned out great and cake tasted delicious ! Though the black sesame circle decoration didn't maintain its shape but still love the baking process!!

    If I am replicating this beautiful recipe to fit an 8" round cake pan to also make a bigger 4- layer layered cake, how much should I multiply the recipe? Thanks for the reply😊

    Is there a way to adjust the recipe if 4 inches is too small and we want to make a 6-inch (or bigger) cake?

    • @JasmaFusionCuisine
      @JasmaFusionCuisine  Рік тому

      you can double the recipe😊

    • @HY-jo8vp
      @HY-jo8vp Рік тому

      @@JasmaFusionCuisine Does the baking temp/time remain the same if we were to double it? Also, what if oven operates only in increments of 50 (i.e. 250, 300, 350)? How long should we bake it for in that case?

    • @JasmaFusionCuisine
      @JasmaFusionCuisine  Рік тому

      @@HY-jo8vp the temperature stays the same, just round up! the time will depend on the size of the cake pan you're using and how thick of a layer of batter you're baking, you'll have to do the toothpick test to know when it's done

    OK, I'm convinced by this one... I'm not sure why the brittle needs to be shaped into a circle though.
    A small walnut cake next time maybe ? And I'm not saying this because I have a lot of walnuts to use. Not at all...
    If was funny to see you almost freeze while trying to decide how much to trim on top of each cake.

    • @JasmaFusionCuisine
      @JasmaFusionCuisine  Рік тому +4

      ooh i have a walnut biscuit recipe from AGES ago but it might tackle your walnut abundance! and i shaped the brittle so that it looks like a cracked circle and fit together on top of the cake like a puzzle instead of just random pieces☺

    • @JasmaFusionCuisine
