I am always so blessed to listen to Pastor JD. I often have trouble with knowing what it is that God wants me to do...which one is it....This? That? I have been looking for the right job and it's been a while that I have been looking...also there was a time before I seriously started looking that I just took time off...at that time I did enjoy not having a place I had to be everyday and I even got to spend time in my own Bible reading and studies that before, was hard to find the time and energy to do...I wonder if I should have done that...taking that time so selfishly? Now that I really do need to get back into the work force, it isn't coming as easily as I so arrogantly expected it to be! I have a great prospect that I am waiting on...to hear about the interview that is suppose to be set up...it's not happened...yet. (I did make a follow up phone call a couple days later, in a voice mail, just to let him know I was looking forward to hearing from him) I also received a call from a company I would rather not be in, but would if I "had to". Funny that that prayer was answered when at the time and day they wanted me to go in, my car was in the shop and they would not let me reschedule...lol So...the place I am waiting on, I am hoping is where God wants to put me...but what if it isn't? How long do I wait till I start filling out more applications? This is where I have trouble...I never know if I am missing the boat the Lord sends me...but I keep reminding myself, God has always taken care of me...He always has...(to myself:Sharon, stop worrying, girl!) I do know better...I just know I also get things very wrong... God Bless you all in receiving your own answers ♥
Thank you Nona ♥ Actually, I got an encouraging email tonight. Though I have not met with anyone yet, I received an explanation for the delay for the interview. So, I just have to be patient a little longer. My cousin is a strong believing Christian too and lives next door to me. We got together for prayer; with that and pastor JD's lesson, my faith strengthened! I pray it will for you too as you continue your search...one that will bring you a sense of accomplishment in a work family and joy. I pray where ever God places us, we may find opportunity to minister and encourage others in Jesus name, Amen :)

I’ve always accepted that Daniel 9:27 was referring to the AntiChrist making the covenant of death spoken of in Isaiah 28 but now I’m thinking that doesn’t fit. Daniel 9 & Daniel 11 line up point for point but Daniel calls it a Holy Covenant. Ezra, Nehemiah, Daniel and Zechariah were there for the renewal of the covenant. We know haggai was there as well from Ezra. They just went through a dramatic experience... fasting, confession, submission and turning back to God. It’s consistent with Daniel’s prayer. I’d like to hear your thoughts
