I worked in a bowling alley from 2002 until 2008 and this machine took 10 times as much money as all the other video games and it was still there until a few years ago when a new bowling company took over. The previous company refused to get an updated version because it was so popular.
I still stand by this being a solid mix, especially for the time. I know my name makes me appear biased, and maybe that's true, but still... :P I also love how Konami programmed a spinning cube with a DDR pad pattern as a BPM display just for this game.
This is a perfect mix tbh, licenses from the trends at the time plus a handful of Dancemania songs, a whole list of new songs and all the orignals from EuroMIX1 Internet Ranking version. Why Konami Europe decided to split the game into two volumes (MegaMix and Fever) instead of making a console port of EM2 saddens me...
Instead of Dancing Stage MegaMix there should have been a PS2 version of EuroMix 2. Any songs unable to be ported over due to licencing issues could have been replaced with the MegaMix licences. It would have been a solid game.
Until SuperNOVA came out, this was the best mix. All the Konami Orignals of Euromix 1 Internet Ranking version, a decent list of licenses both from Universal and EMI. It hurts to know that this game is an endangered species.
I'm glad when I go to the beach, this is the mix that's there. It's so nostalgic. I don't go there often but I always pick this one over the others like fusion.
DDR is still made for the arcades today, although a good majority of the songs we might have known are removed in later games. While most of the Konami originals are still in the games today, the licenses have been replaced. The current game in the DDR series is DDR A3, which released this year.

For the longest time while watching this I thought this was a PS2 game and was thinking that this is one of the best DDR mixes ever. I still stand by that but I'm less surprised for arcade. Is there no Maxx Unlimited? Also did they completely abolish any rating system for this mix? No foot rating or groove radar?

I played on DDR A20 machine recently and was surprised to find it had the entire catalogue on it from pretty much every game!
can we just point out the cube's speed at 5:01 had me ded
Then you have NONSTOP's "speed".
Get real
I played it yesterday and as soon as I saw that I played it and I only missed 2 arrows (I was on beginner because I'm a noob)
Max 300. It’s the fastest and most difficult song in the game.
Afronova Primeval, Healing Vision and Max 300 are designed to dangerously increase your blood pressure 😁 love how diverse these songs are though 👍
more like lower it, cardio good

I wish they kept that cube for later games, I just want to see it have a 400 BPM seizure on the SuperNOVA bosses.

Afronova, nori noria nori, b4u, end of the century.. take me back 20year I'd mastered them all 😂
If I had the money I’d buy one for my house ❤

Finally a higher quality video of this songlist. Hopefully there's some gameplay videos as well.

I remember this game I played it all the time in Butlins when I was 10 lol
Such memories...
I still play it today lol

I’m kinda Surprised they Never made a ‘sequel’ to DDR USA that would be based off this, since USA is similar to euromix 1.

Yeah, considering Euromix1 and Fusion had CS counterparts. This is the European Arcade mix that I like the most.

I would love to know how they chose which Dancemania songs to port over, or if they were substitutes for dropped Zomba songs?

No groove radar. No maxx unlimited. The foot ratings appear after selecting a song. (Lame, i know)

Is there an unlock code for this version? Does euromix2 in Super Disc require an unlock code?
No. What you see is what you get.
