Hi there! We went in July, in the middle of their winter. September sounds like a perfect time to go. Still the dry season but starting to get a bit warmer. We got our bus tickets 3 days beforehand, but keep an eye on it a couple weeks out to make sure it doesn’t start filling up. The bottom level also fills up faster as they are bigger seats and a bit more money; they were sold out by the time we booked ours. If you are prone to motion sickness I would suggest trying to get seats on the bottom level. ☺️
@@Jess_and_Dave Thanks for the tip. Did you buy your bus tickets online? We are also planning of taking the night bus from Cusco to La Paz, I guess you have a different blog on that matter?
Yes we bought our tickets online on the Todo Turismo website. We also did an overnight bus from Cusco to La Paz on Transzela. We’ve got a full video just on that experience, but it went pretty well!
Fascinating landscape. Not at all what I expected, and so cold too.
I couldn’t stop thinking the salt was snow because of how cold it was😂
@@Jess_and_DaveI don’t quite understand how the cacti survive.
Very good information on Bolivia. We are also taking the same night bus. Just wondering, what month did you go? We are planning in September. Thanks
