Hi guys. I just made this sponge cake and it is lovely. I put a tsp of lemon juice in the milk. I used a can of carnation evap milk which is 1 1/2 cups of evap milk. This will make three thin round cakes or two medium round ones just in case you dont want to make a big rectangular one like Natasha did. My round cakes were done in 30 minutes flat. NB my oven was very well preheated. Just in case anyone was wondering these things. Love this recipe. Thanks. Oh BTW I DID use the Karibbean Flavours Cake Spice and it is a MUST have for me now.
I tried this today and it was moist and delicious..thank you and you must put up recipes using butter and oil for all cake types ,l find it gives best results..
This is my favorite new cake recipe. The measurements make quite a large sheet cake. My family loves it. I cannot wait to show it off at my next family get together when covid is over.
I made this today, came out great, nice and soft. I added pistachio flavor to the green color and raspberry to the red. It added a nice flavor.
