You have to see what's going on and how do you do that with multiple 300 lb 6'3"+ humans walking around? You have to see what's going on, but at the same time you have to have that personal line of communication with the dudes that are on the field. This is really hard! This might be the hardest job in the world. I wish him luck. And i hope he has an ally on the ground who he trusts so that he can stay in the box where he can actually see.

I really wish people would stop making Daboll out to be Kyle Shanahan. Daboll never won ANYTHING with points without Josh or Ken Dorsey. Look at his record and look at the mess with the Giants. Say what you want about dorsey but clearly he was very well respected in that buidling. Watching josh yesterday in his press conference you could see the digust of the whole thing in his expressions. However, theres definitely an enthusiasm and engery I feel with joe. Maybe its just simply let josh be josh and have more command and say at the line.
He's definitely talking that talk, but this is going to be about results on the field. Results driven business!! Let's see what joe's Brady bunch gonna perform for him.

I hope he does well but lets be real here, the man has been popped in the position just before a schedule that is just rock solid, Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, Chargers, Dolphins... you have to hope but also temper the expectations here because I think he could go far if given a couple of seasons in proper control of an offense, the key thing getting Josh on board, Joe will want to run it and throw underneath to set up the deep shot, Josh has to be patient

That's what Ken Dorsey should have been doing all along. Everything was 10+ yards downfield, waiting for plays to develop. If the run game is moving the ball, keep pounding it. If it's not, use your passing game as an extension of the run. Do something creative a few times a game. Don't go out in the same formation for 80% of the game. Mix things up. If he can do all of that, which isn't that difficult, he'll be doing better than Dorsey did.

Im just unsure how much change can be expected on a short week, but I’m intrigued and a fresh set of eyes and approach should bring a jolt of energy, bye week is going to be huge this yr, I would imagine it will still be influenced by Dorsey’s playbook except a few new tweaks to it! I would expect a heavy rotation between all 3 running backs this week to make this transition easier

How about “demanding excellence”, “holding players accountable” and getting more out of these players? I keep hearing how they all feel responsible but I don’t hear anything that signifies real change. I’m ready to see what Joe has to offer but I truly think this offence needs a respectful kick in the ass. A smooth transition from one OC to another May make it easier for the players but do we really think that’s what they need?

McDermott needs to stay out of offensive calling and let the OC open up the play book. Let Josh play. Let him throw. Let him do called sweeps. Josh needs to get involved in the game early. A good coach uses the players he has and adjusts his coaching style/play calling to meet the team he has. The last two years it's clear that McDermott has been trying to force running on first down & way more on this team. This current team is built to throw the ball. Let them play!

Here is some free advice mr. Brady. Josh Allen when he rolls to the right is much more effective at both running and throwing. Josh is a better thrower down the middle. Gabe Davis drops way to many passes especially down the sidelines. He does not do well because of his height and his inability to cut back to the middle and at least prevent an interception. Josh should not be sideline throwing because every team double cover those plays. Diggs does very well down the middle as well. If our offensive line can’t stop the opposing team pass rush, then throw some screen plays and slants. The bills have become so predictable on offence that they are easy to defend. When it’s 3rd down and 2’ to go then a quarterback sneak is a must,
Don’t be a Dorsey and call a sidewatpys run and lose 5 yards. Be creative but be sensible. I wish you luck !
