JAMES BURT STRIKES in Race 1. Somehow Burty turned up with an Epic Spin & win (passing me twice) to grab the Race 1 victory. Completely changed my line through the sweeps from qualy to race 1, which I didn't notice was wrong when out in the lead until I got passed halfway through. Once I realised, I stuck with the pack but had dropped to 4th, to get lucky with the leader spinning on the final lap and then the next leader having a penalty leading to a 2017 Warwick B 1-2.
REVENGE ON JAMES BURT in Race 2. Started 7th thanks to my fairly average performance in Race 1. Got absolutely loaded into T1 but somehow came out the first lap in 4th. Had a good (not stellar, but consistent and mistake-free) pace to gently move my way up to the lead.
Good year, fun trophy, onto next year :).

Solid pole lap! I reckon you have about 0.5 more in there at least, just need to go a bit harder into entries, particularly turn 1 and the 2 hairpins!

Thanks! I sorted myself out towards the end of the day... should've seen me stupidly change my line down the sweep in Race 1 and go much slower. Turns out if you get pole you should keep doing the same thing and not change it up... 🤦‍♂Thanks for the tips, I think I do about 1 or 2 races a year in the rain atm so just need more seat time!
