@5:44 thats a spicy harmony section, so good
Death magnetic is like AJFA part 2 for me, no filler or skipped songs. One of my favorite Melatica albums lol
Also the only song i dont like on Beyond Magnetic is Hell And Back
Criminally underappreciated song, weird structure to the whole song but some really good riffs and vocals.
definitly one of my favorite songs from the past albums of metallica
I can agree with that, its a bit confusing. I've never been a big fan of the Death Magnetic era, but I feel if they had re-arragned songs better they could have been classic
@@Chainbrain I'm of the same opinion, some really nice elements to most songs, only one or two really feel 'complete' in their current arrangements
@@Chainbrain All nightmare long could've shaved 3 minutes off and it would have been a great song. Honestly, Death Magnetic is pretty bad overall imo.

Nobody:
Chain when the main riff starts: °O°

This is my favourite song from Beyond Magnetic, and Hate Train follows literally right after.
Rebel of Babylon and Hate Train are in my top 20 favourite Metallica songs.
Definitely one of their more underrated song (at least IMO) but still badass as hell
This song fucks, man. I love all of the songs from DM to death, but I'd cut any of the first half to get this song in. Maybe not the same for the other Beyond Magnetic stuffs, but this song is a fucking masterpiece and I can't believe it didn't make it in
This is an absolutely awesome song and I totally agree with you 😊
we can all confirm that Chainbrain is getting old cause he lowered the volume 😂 your vids and guitar skills are amazing keep it up! ❤️
I’m one of the those fans that likes every era of Metallica but death magnetic is so good to me
Death Magnetic isn’t my favorite Metallica album by any means, but I still like a lot of the songs: That Was Just Your Life, All Nightmare Long, The Day That Never Comes, Suicide and Redemption, The End Of The Line. Though I do think a lot of the songs are a bit too long. And I wish the mastering was better; sadly the album is a prime example of the loudness war. I also like the songs on Beyond Magnetic.
This song is so good
James' lyric writing from this era is half just yelling words he likes lmao
LOVE IS 4 LETTER WORD
@@Chainbrain THIS I SWEAR
@@didncozosksma4466 bro skipped an entire section
To be fair, Beyond Magnetic was basically cut, less polished tracks that was slated for the full Death Magnetic album.
Tbh I thought this was a new metallica single lmao
How did I not know this EP existed?
OUCH my already mostly deaf ears that hurt. lol but seriously man that was loud wow.
At least death magnetic wasn't another st. anger lol
honestly i had no idea this album existed
All 4 songs on it are great
That's so damn annoying, you can see that James plays an open A during the chorus, not on the 5th fret of the E string. Hell, you can hear it too.

Those are the same notes
@@Chainbrain Yes, but they have a different timbre.
I couldn't imagine caring about something so useless, it literally doesn't matter. It's the same note, I also doubt you'd be able to tell the difference with your ear.
@@Chainbrain Mainly for the audiophiles and technical gurus, it doesn't really make a significant(or noticeable) difference to like 98% of listeners. for me personally, it's the little details that make a good song, great; At least as far as writing the song goes anyways. Playing it is a different ballgame all together, and rocksmith is one of those situations of playing versus writing.
@@sleepdeep305you're absolutely correct and it's funny how people who are so critical of Metallicas songs find something like timbre useless.
Main problem with this song is that it doesn't know when to end.
New Metallica sounds like a bunch of 1 minute hooks bridged together. No cohesion or consistency in that tempo. It's like someone told them random tempo changes are all that matter in making a song.
This isn't on a Metallica LP. I don't think modern Metallica is at their A game either, but the stuff that's actually on the records is way, way better.
