I’ve played the game. And while I hated it before I played, after playing and thinking, it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I did rage a lot. It is bad. But, I never ran into glitches like others did. If the story and gameplay was fixed, then I’d say it would be a better game
I understand the hate, but I still think Silver the Hedgehog is a good character and rival to Sonic and I think the music and boss battles are amazing😁

Sonic 06 was the first game I ever played,reached crisis city and then packed it away so coincidental though! I was going to play sonic 06 then I saw this! I liked the game though....the glitches give it an extra challenge! Right now I'm current in tropical jungle with sonic....good so far!

That beginning scene with shadow going through the white acropolis while dodging all of the robots was the most amazing cutscene throughout that whole game
Unfortunately, Sonic 2006 got me into the fandom 😆 but after a while, I realized that it was bad. Even back then, I didn't like Elise. It kinda reminded me of The Bee Movie. A human and a hedgehog in love? 🙄
The graphics for the movie bits were pretty awesome though, I remember playing this game years ago and getting chills, and playing it 10 years on, it is still able to give me chills when a final scene is played. Also Silver was a great character, we have way too many main speedies in the game it was a chance to look around and get a feel for a different kind of game play
Sonic 06 wasn’t that terrible story wise. If they had given it a bit more time and thought, it could’ve been really cool. Plus, they got Shadow right, one of the best villains ever, and the easy win, it brought in the best Sonic character ever, Silver the hedgehog

Multiple playable characters. 5. There are similarities, elements and references just from my best favorite Sonic game Sonic Adventure. 6. Sonic '06 didn't become a reboot which was just meant to be for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and Sonic the Hedgehog: Awakening which probably both was just meant to be a sequel of Sonic '06 was cancelled because of the poor reception of Sonic ’06.

Y'know, i tink that Sonic Team should do a remaster of this game(since people keep asking for the return of the adventure formula). Personally i think they should: -build the game with the new hedgehog 2 engine; -remove the glitches; -make the hub worlds and the humans how they appeared on sonic unkeashed; -change Elise and her family into an animal specie; -make better controls; -make silver slitly faster and make his levels around that; -slitly change the story( like making blaze come from her dimension to sonic's future) -put the wall time events from sonic unleashed; -make the super forms playable; -make the loading time much faster; -do a better job with the voice actors; AND FINALLY -call the remaster SONIC ADVENTURE 3 to make the people less scared and/or shocked.
The only reason I class this romance worse than twilight is because its between vampires and hedgehogs and, quite frankly, I prefer the blood sucking creatures of the night more than the small mammals who have the nasty habit of getting turned into pancakes (though if its for any other reason, then Twilight is worse)

I do disagree with some of those reasons since... I'm used to seeing the human-hedgehog love 'cause I watched a lot of Disney films! I, however, strongly agree with Sonic '06 being rushed, numerous of bugs, and long loading screen. The music is absolutely phenomenal though!

It is bad. Heck, if you take into the account of: Numerous glitches (Yes, games have glitches, but not as much as this.) Story (Sonic's story is about him saving Elise multiple times.) Loading screen (up to twenty seconds. One mission had only one two second loading screen.) Dialogue ("Did you receive the *book* of darkness?") Crappy design (A newspaper even has the words "Daily Soreanna") Level Design (If Project 06 is gonna remake the game, please remake the levels to make them more streamlined and clear) And the gameplay (Rouge and Knuckles can't get off of walls, for Solaris' sake) It can truly be described as the second worst Sonic game in the franchise.

Well both me and my brother are divided over whether Shadow The Hedgehog or Sonic 06 is worse. My argument is that Shadow is better because its playable, and you get to make your own story (choose your own path, carrying on the story of Heroes and Adventure 2). My brother's argument is that the glitches in 06 are funny at times, and has similarities to Sonic Adventure in terms of stories, and isn't so dark with guns and swearing here and there. But if there's anything we can agree on, both are still better than Rise of Lyric.

You wanted a game, you got one. The reason everyone hates sonic 06 is because of the strong fanbase they wanted the game to come out early and Sega showed you a lesson by Rushing it for the fans.

Going to be honest I never quite understand why people hated Silver since I thought his actions were perfectly understandable. He was born in the worst possible future that he'll cling on to false hope. Good thing to know no one hated the character...they just hated the boss fight.
The main issue with the ending is that they reset everythingand later on Mephiles could had come back as the Time Eater, this explain why Crisis City AND Silver are still in the canon and why it was in Gens to begin with. I admit that 06 its quite the buggy mess and a very dissapointing game, but at least if it were managed better it could had lead to a better continuation with other games and having Mephiles coming back as a time/space eating monstrosity could be rather cool and it could had explained why no one remembers the events of 06 not even Silver or Blaze. Another theory of mine is the same as how in DBS happens with the new Future Trunks, he doesnt come from the same time line where the androids and Cell were defeated, but he comes from a timeline where an evil Goku look a like and Zamasu destroyed everything, so its almost the same Trunks just that he has to face something else this time. Silver and Blaze are another alternate versions that existed all along in the Sonic timeline, just they didnt faced against Ilblis because it doesnt exist anymore, so Silver got stranded on the past and Blaze never came to sonic's dimension to help Silver out, so she is still the princess of the Sol Dimension but some of ilblis power resides inside her in perfect harmony with her that she became one with the flames of dissaster thus why she can use pyrokinetic powers, now the main issue is where 06 take place? before Rush? after Rush? or Rush came to happend because the universe reset elise did there? till this day i dont know for sure.
glitches dont make a game bad. it just means it lacks polish. the glitches in 06 actually make some of 06 more fun to me because i can play around with them. like the sky gem or purple gem.
Sonic 06 and Forces are 2 worst Sonic games by far.Sonic Forces is a game from 2017 that looks completely fine.But that is the problem.It looks so fine and there are so many details in the background of the map that players dont even have time to see it cuz the game itself is too fast so all the work about details was useless.Sonic runs so fast in that game that u dont even get time to see where ur going or to stop for a second and explore the map.While Sonic 2006 is just""TRASH".But 2 years after they fixed the situation with Sonic Unleashed and later with Sonic Generations.Thats why classic Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3,Sonic Unleashed,Sonic Generations and Sonic Mania are the best Sonic games ever.

I just enjoyed the game, I thought that having three different characters was super cool, and I never really noticed the glitches. I also thought that a semi open world was super fun, which is what got me into rpgs
Sonic 06 needs to be retcon out of the Timeline in favor of Sonic Adventure 3 and Replace Princess Elise with Princess Sally and not rushed to market with Bugs and Glitches.
If this game was made in 2007 (no rush) and slightly changed the storyline this game would be one of the better.......maybe....... But in my opinion this isn't the worst Sonic game

I do disagree with some of those reasons since... I'm used to seeing the human-hedgehog love 'cause I watched a lot of Disney films! I, however, strongly agree with Sonic '06 being rushed, numerous of bugs, and long loading screen. The music is absolutely phenomenal though!

Numerous glitches (Yes, games have glitches, but not as much as this.)
Story (Sonic's story is about him saving Elise multiple times.)
Loading screen (up to twenty seconds. One mission had only one two second loading screen.)
Dialogue ("Did you receive the *book* of darkness?")
Crappy design (A newspaper even has the words "Daily Soreanna")
Level Design (If Project 06 is gonna remake the game, please remake the levels to make them more streamlined and clear)
And the gameplay (Rouge and Knuckles can't get off of walls, for Solaris' sake)
It can truly be described as the second worst Sonic game in the franchise.

Well both me and my brother are divided over whether Shadow The Hedgehog or Sonic 06 is worse. My argument is that Shadow is better because its playable, and you get to make your own story (choose your own path, carrying on the story of Heroes and Adventure 2). My brother's argument is that the glitches in 06 are funny at times, and has similarities to Sonic Adventure in terms of stories, and isn't so dark with guns and swearing here and there. But if there's anything we can agree on, both are still better than Rise of Lyric.

Going to be honest I never quite understand why people hated Silver since I thought his actions were perfectly understandable. He was born in the worst possible future that he'll cling on to false hope. Good thing to know no one hated the character...they just hated the boss fight.

Sonuc 06 was so bad that even Sonic 06 wants to forget it ever existed. That's quite possibly the best ending for the game.
The main issue with the ending is that they reset everythingand later on Mephiles could had come back as the Time Eater, this explain why Crisis City AND Silver are still in the canon and why it was in Gens to begin with.
I admit that 06 its quite the buggy mess and a very dissapointing game, but at least if it were managed better it could had lead to a better continuation with other games and having Mephiles coming back as a time/space eating monstrosity could be rather cool and it could had explained why no one remembers the events of 06 not even Silver or Blaze.
Another theory of mine is the same as how in DBS happens with the new Future Trunks, he doesnt come from the same time line where the androids and Cell were defeated, but he comes from a timeline where an evil Goku look a like and Zamasu destroyed everything, so its almost the same Trunks just that he has to face something else this time.
Silver and Blaze are another alternate versions that existed all along in the Sonic timeline, just they didnt faced against Ilblis because it doesnt exist anymore, so Silver got stranded on the past and Blaze never came to sonic's dimension to help Silver out, so she is still the princess of the Sol Dimension but some of ilblis power resides inside her in perfect harmony with her that she became one with the flames of dissaster thus why she can use pyrokinetic powers, now the main issue is where 06 take place? before Rush? after Rush? or Rush came to happend because the universe reset elise did there? till this day i dont know for sure.

glitches dont make a game bad. it just means it lacks polish. the glitches in 06 actually make some of 06 more fun to me because i can play around with them. like the sky gem or purple gem.

Sonic 06 and Forces are 2 worst Sonic games by far.Sonic Forces is a game from 2017 that looks completely fine.But that is the problem.It looks so fine and there are so many details in the background of the map that players dont even have time to see it cuz the game itself is too fast so all the work about details was useless.Sonic runs so fast in that game that u dont even get time to see where ur going or to stop for a second and explore the map.While Sonic 2006 is just""TRASH".But 2 years after they fixed the situation with Sonic Unleashed and later with Sonic Generations.Thats why classic Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3,Sonic Unleashed,Sonic Generations and Sonic Mania are the best Sonic games ever.

Yeah Sonic 06 is a pretty awesome game it's one my top favs in the Sonic franchise & sure it was rushed which is why some out there hate on it to this very day but it doesn't matter the individuals that hate it for no reason just to troll some of us are being mean to just get us mad haters in that manner are horrible people so we all should ignore them, as for some that don't like Sonic 06 it's only there personal opinion we all don't always have to agree on every opinion on what others think of it but we can respect each others opinions on the game I guess sometimes it sounds to harsh for some of us at times maybe in a way we all have moments depending how we feel on the day or whatever is getting us down though some tend to overreact to Sonic 06 in the worst way regardless on what side anyway I hope this relaxes some tension over the opinion of Sonic 06 take it to heart people get I keep taking it to heart as much as I can to I'll admit though it can be hard at times honestly well we all need to have a balance in life even with respecting others opinions so let's keep it that way & have a good time
