Absolutely, F1 = big yawn, whereas cycling = blood, sweat & tears and beautiful scenery. The physical and emotional effort in GT races is there for all to see.

@@Joshua-dx7zn hard disagree, this was his only way to have a shot at winning, playing these sorts of games is part of what makes cycling interesting. otherwise you could just put all riders on a tacx and see who pushes the most watts

@@allemagallied4775 I understand cycling is all about strategy. I'm sure he figured his only chance was to conserve energy, but it is also an unwritten rule you don't pull that sort of crap, especially as much as he did. He also went way too early given his lack of strength to finish it off.

It's just amazing how well timed this last sprint was. Imagine if he starts just 2-3 seconds too early, then he loses the power in the final 50 meters or somebody gets on his wheel and passes him or he wouldn't catch the other one if he started too late.

I think Valgren just got unlucky when the Polti rider attacked. It's almost comical how he managed to look at the wrong direction at exactly the wrong time twice. This allowed the gap to get too large and made him work too much to catch him and win the sprint.
