Julia best to you and your son w recovery from surgery. Knitting is like getting a hug, liked seeing all your projecyts.
Lovely to hear your good news. Beautiful and inspiring knits. 🌷
I'm glad that everything is better with little man. Keep breathing, I cannot tell it will better soon but I can promise it will be different. You cyber me up.
Glad to hear your son is recovering well. My grandson aged six, had an emergency appendectomy on a Friday and was back at school the following Tuesday!! And the doctors were on strike, but still there for emergencies. I do like your new purl soho blanket, I think I’ll look it up 😊
So pleased to hear your son is recovering well. It is always hard when your child is in hospital. Knitting is a great soother and help for keeping calm. Love your new half square blanket. 🇬🇧
I'm making a crochet sweater for the first. But found tutorials about crocheting a hexagon sweater. Fast way to get a cardigan. It basically is 2 hexagon granny, put together to make body and sleeves.
I think with pure linen they recommend you to knit back and forth to avoid the skewing thing. Probably because it usually is spun with a single ply as well.
Also. Happy to hear that toddler is okay. Both kids have had their share of injuries and surgeries, and it’s always awful. ❤
Thank you! Glad to get a second opinion on the skewing thing because I really don't want to have another fail with this yarn 😁
Hi Julia another good episode I Kaye x
I always love seeing a new video from you. So many videos just seem to go on abd and on with no real content.
Thank you! :)
I always love your podcasts and knitting. You and hubby are doing a great job of parenting. Hang in there, things will lighten up soon.
Helen of Giddy Yarns is going to be having a self striping update on 12th May, and there'll be a pre-order too if you're after some really nice self striping. Hope little one is healing well! They heal really quick at this age, my son snipped off the end of his finger with scissors at nursery about 3 weeks ago and has already regrown it.
Oh thanks for letting me know! Glad your son is ok!
Lovely podcast Julia and amazing knitting. Glad all went well with your son and he is making a good recovery 🧶
Nice to hear all went well with toddlers surgery. Thanks for podcasting. It is always good to see you and your projects.
Love your Purl Soho blanket (the colours are so beautiful 🥰). Good to hear that your son is recovering well. Greetings from The Netherlands🌷
It was a very inspirational and entertaining podcast. Thanks for that! Hope your son will be better soon.
Another great episode ;) thanks for making me company while I knit! Hope your son is doing better!😊
Glad your son is recovering promptly. Hugs from Deep South Texas.
Thank you :-)
Crocheting the Battenberg blanket as a palate cleanser. Love your Granny Square blanket.😊
I have one of those on the go as well, just never get around to it 🙈
love the colours for the prism blanket! Do you think the body of the lento sweater could be knit in one skein? thinking of doing a colour block one, body one colour sleeves another, (smallest size)
Hi! I think it'll be a very close call also depending on how cropped you want it, your gauge, specific yarn etc. I have usually used 1.5 skeins for the entire sweater but then again the sleeves don't use much yarn at all. Having said that, it's top down so I guess you could always try and see how far one skein gets you?
I do like wood needles. I like metal needles but your yarn slides to easy lol
I have Hyia hya needles that I do like and a few Chia gho.
