My father had a small coffee plantation just outside Kiambu back in 1959. Fascinating to see those roads again. The last time I was there was in 1963 when I was just 15 years old.
I don't know what is more painful for me: to watch or not my beloved second home. I dare to call it although i'm not Kenyan but my wife is. Since i married her i miss her home too. I can't get over how grandiose Kenya is. I enjoy when you take us on a drive with you✌🏿✌🏿 At this rate, I'll need to move there permanently. The skies are fair too, very fair and I notice you guys take pride in edging something that doesn't happen here in Jamaica. In your videos I see edging at a distance of miles😍😍😍 Beautiful country again and ancestral guidance🌙
The one You Tuber who never disappoints. We appreciate what you do to us .With you ,I have travelled to many places. This is usually breathtaking, especially when I'm going to Kiambu, I usually go to Limuru and board a matatu to see this view. But due to land grabbing and greedy humans, most of the farms have been grabbed and they cut off the tea and coffee to put up houses.Years back, you'd know you are near Coffee plantations just by the smile.Don't know if it's evident nowadays.Kiambu town is very expensive

I live in Doha I really see this Greenery and gorgeous blue skies dispute being a desert Kenya indeed as Google says one of the most buetiful countries in the world if not the most buetiful.
Good work bro as usual. You can combine both music and nature sounds like today. Areas with many details to give and stories behind them you can keep music out. Otherwise just find a balance. Your choice of music is great, therapeutic. And take us to Ndakaini where water for Nairobi comes from. You could take that opportunity to show us Thika town.
Since tuko learning phase, keep experimenting na camera settings. Great you dropped the music in this one. Even greater videos now that you're giving us the background of the sites and when you get out of the car for show-and-tell. The next piece of equipment you will need is a lavalier/lapel wireless mic for your commentaries, especially when you're in the car. The road noise just adds more character to your videos. Keep on keeping on!
Great scenery 😍😍 My county Next time get to know that place where golf is played am sure many would love to know more and make a video i have never heard about such place that's interesting as you have said golf is a sport known for the rich.
This is beautiful! I just connected with your blog Jana from one of your fun. I have to say, this by far is the best portrayal of our beautiful country of Kenya. Kiambu is my home, and it was such a treat to seat and watch a few of your wonderful work. I will definitely share the link. Awesome!👏🏾👏🏾

Great content. Please show us Thika. There are sections not covered by Google maps and it would be great to see them through your lens. Your camera is great! More videos please
Afrikan Traveller So glad you saw my comment and followed up. Please see Maki Estate on the road entrance towards ShadeNet. Those areas have great pineapple and flower farms. Unfortunately it will be a very, very bumpy road and maybe impassable right now after the heavy rains. There are alternate roads but they would wreck havoc on your car. Also, Please check out the construction of Juja - Mukinyi Rd. It has taken decades for them to start building the road. Now from Gatundu count towards Thika Highway, there is some little progress. I think you should be compensated by the government for your reviews-since they are unable to monitor where their funds go or don’t go. We have learned so so so so much travelling with you. Thank you for sharing your work.
Love the view. I would like to know what the cost of living in these areas is that you post, so I have an idea of what areas are affordable for me whenever I come to Kenya.
Search for house/apartment tour in Nairobi or the town you would wish to live inn and you will get the recommendations. I saw two ladies doing housing tour here and their prices.
nice videos boss, the new camera is doing us good, the clarity, electronic image stabilization just to name a few.. you can borrow some ideas from "Travelling Robert".
Nice video. I dont know if its the new camera settings but it seem to pull or stretch the cars abit to a funny shape as you pass them on either side, especially in the town with slow traffic. The older videos dont have that stretch feel on the cars.
Thank you for taking us around, our first born bro married a kikuyu lady from Rimuruti😁 talking of kikuyu makes me remember her though she is now pure swahili lady😁😁
Tnx for the sight seeing . I hope the government can zone the farm lands so we do not loose them to unsightly housing estates and for our food security also .
Hi my African traveler bro. You really doing a very good job. Congratulations. Please, what's the music behind of the background of this video. I like 😮to download it. Can you give me the artist & the music title. Thankx
after independence they were supposed to be subdivided among the kikuyu families who were put in concentration camps but our 1st president was so greedy he gave it to his close friends. That is the reason why most families around kiambu,Banana,Wangige and surrounding areas live in small plots surrounded by this big farms.

I used one Camera but the difference may be because of the light Ray's, the first half I was facing the sun rays directly as opposed to the second part.

The perfect blanket of green you're seeing is a tea estate/tea plantation. I think that's what you're referring to edging
@@Utadowot Perhaps it is. It was on the roadside of what looked to be a residential area but eh, what do I know.
