I feel this shit on a different level. I survived three separate shootings before changing my life. Hit 7 times total. Diagnosed PTSD and i go to therapy twice a week. I changed my life around in my late 30’s. Now I’m around “normal” people and I find myself feeling like I don’t belong, I don’t deserve to be here, and if these people knew the real me they’d run. Ya know? I’m actually a fuckin scumbag and they have no idea. It’s not a great feeling honestly. Bothers me daily. But I’m tryin to push through and stay on the right path.
I understand where you coming from completely, I ain't think I was gonna come home ever again but I got a 2nd chance. Everyday a part of me still feels like I don't deserve to be home but knowing that Allah Ta'ala (god) has a better plan for me and the path I was going down wasn't meant for me. So I had to change and be comfortable not being comfortable. Trust me doe you're exactly where you meant to be

It’s crazy how somebody can get shot 17 times in multiple situations and live. I know a kid around my way who was 15 years old , he got in a shootout and got hit once and died on scene and sometimes that’s all it takes..

PTSD has become my best friend it's a love/hate relationship. The love it keeps me aware but hate is folks seem to think I'm crazy and the depression and anxiety inside. He's hurt because now it's happening when he left to start fresh. It's like a dead end.
Have you found a way to focus with it, even just doing daily tasks

Sometimes I hear gunshots falling asleep and my body twitches and wakes me up and I'm instantly wide awake with my heart pounding that shit gets old.
Shit be hard some days I feel like I'm loosing then some days I feel like I'm winning ok the anxiety an depression take a tole you think is liable to happen again
If you suffer from PTSD,.start writing ✍️ journaling, chronologically write your journey, vlog yourself working out, running 💨 and getting mentally better each day. You need someone to talk to, truthfully talking to yourself and god is the best counselor through vlogging for yourself first before you evolve to the point of helping others. Also try doing your best talents daily. Whether it's playing basketball or music 🎶 or power lifting, biking etc. Whether healthy talent you have, dump your entire energy into those crafts daily.

He's not trying to act like it doesn't bother him because he's a human being. I could understand how folks (who've never been in that type of environment) would think he was tripping, but meanwhile, he just wanted to be on point after he'd been in far to many life or death scenarios!

I’m still battling my demons but I think writing a book or just using the bad incidents in your life to warn the youth sounds Righteous asf

Some people cant turn the realness and the hardness off. Hes starting to become aware of it but hopefully he can change. You can still be tough and ready but it's okay to not have to worry about it sometimes. As long as you're in a safe environment anyway. Hes probably scared the day he let's his guard down is the day he dies.

Imagine not going through what he went through but still having the paranoia that something or someone is always out to get you. I can never enjoy being out because I’m always watching my surroundings.
That kind of sounds like schizophrenia. Have you talked to anybody about that? My cousin is schizoaffective went through the same thing and he thought everybody including his own family was plotting against him. Know that he knows the symptoms and he’s also taking herbs to help he’s operating a lot better.
@@chriso8703 I’ve always assumed it was severe anxiety that would go away but apparently not. Never thought about schizophrenia also i haven’t told anyone, mostly because im a big guy, 6’4 310lbs i can’t admit that im scared,thats what i sum it up too basically and that’s probably just ego. I just pretend im busy or tired to avoid going out. I never wanted to get prescribed anything but its ruined my life long enough, seeing a doctor is my next step. I smoke but weed it doesn’t help. Thanks for your response and insight, im glad your cousin is doing better.
@@billyartsy I’m really glad I could help cause life is way too short to be held back by that. I also want to say that weed is thought to calm people down but it actually induces anxiety especially for people with schizophrenia. Instead of weed, I had my cousin smoke Gotu kula, peppermint, cinnamon, holy basil, and blue lotus. This mixture works better as a tea. Lmk if you want to know what each of them do.

@@billyartsy gotu kula works on organizing the mind, cinnamon is very grounding, blue lotus has nuciferine which is said to be antipsychotic, peppermint is cooling and calming, holy basil is said to improve the stress response, I also used to smoke lavender because it’s known to be very calming. Ashwaganda supplement is also great for stress management and boosting testosterone. Please do your research on these before trying them, knowing the effects of herbs can also help you find what works for you. You can also pray over the herbs to work for you.
