Always interesting Daz about how these new establishments start from concept to opening night. I think you are one of only a few who actually visit and interview the owner or owners from start to finish. I wish this owner luck. This certainly appears to be an ambitious project considering the condition of the property and where he wants to take it. Thank you for doing this. Always appreciated.🍻🍺
Well, I admire Steven's ambition and willingness to try new things with his clubs. His venture at Escape tried to be all things in one place and it sounds like the second business in this video will try to be similar. I hope he has more success with this one.
The target market for Escape was to try to get some of the Walking Street clubbing crowd up to Soi Buakhao. There was a chance just after the Covid reopening. But various factors meant Walking Street won and Escape, The Warehouse, Bling, Rise, As Friends and a bunch of other places failed. We kept trying new things as we had a very long and cheap lease but in the end gave up. This new venture on Khao Talo is for the Thai market. Girls and their families. Lots live in that area so it should be easier to entice them in.
Can’t knock him for trying. A man with lots of ideas. The project at Treetown seems to have failed and up for sale. Let’s hope this idea fares better. Personally I don’t see anything on the Darkside of this nature being anything but steady at best but wish him well.
The equation to get that is we double the salary. Then everyone complains that bar fines double and the girls do less. Be happy with how it is and drink more.
Beers will be the same cheap prices. With a beer card the local bottles like Chang, Singha and Leo are 69b. The girls will definitely ask for less. The dark side is generally half the price for that kind of thing compared to central Pattaya.
@@stacreman Thanks for explaining 👍 Since I don't drink alkohol, I'm interested in the quality of the rooms and staff only. And I suppose, some would call me a Cheap Charlie...
Jacuzzi is moving over from Escape. We'll have a pool at the back. I'll also put a few tents in the garden which will probably feel like a sauna for anyone adventurous enough to go in one.
Feeling, intuition, vision, expectation of migration into Thailand, the soul’s need to expand, and the need for a tradesman to practice his craft.. that’s why
One is a Gents Club. The other is a Suki. Nothing original happening with either. If you go to Passion, Cosy Beach Club, Aqua Deymie or a bunch of other gents clubs they have a pool in the garden. As for the Suki there are a lot of Thai places that sell food during the day and then have entertainment in the evening.
If you do what everyone else is doing, you have to do it slightly better just to earn some money. Better think outside of the box and do something else or in a different location...... or both.
Balls of steel .. does nothing half hearted, fair play to him and good luck with the new ventures
This guy has certainly got a lot of get up and go and entrepreneurship. He deserves success.
I enjoyed the look at the new business side of things. Be well
That's a big project.i will be looking forward to the finnished article.

Keep the updates on this bar it sounds like it will be a bar to visit after completion 😁👍
Sounds very promising. Escape was quite simply wrong place wrong time. It's location location, location, not cheap rent
Hopefully some nicer hostesses as at the Pothole MM, half their age and half their weight would be nice...
😂😂😂

You have to drink them girls pretty 😅😂 @@stacreman
It looks like a great plan. I suppose, the prices must be a little lower to attract customers. Looking forward to see how it will turn out.

That new Maggie mays location is an excellent idea.. British garden, opening closer inland… very good expansion
he should put a pole to support the tree tilting in the yard. think it will an amazing place. good luck
Has Steven heard of beer bikes? Maybe they could work in Pattaya.
Not seen those before thanks
I reckon they should have a pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

Trying to break into the local market with the food place, would that not bring the heat on from local business men & their hired goones.
Very nice👍
Were those loudspeakers hanging at the second building? Looks like they could really pump some sound.
4 x Function1 Dance Stacks. The ultimate sound system. We'll have bands every night after 10pm so they will get used a fair bit.
@@stacremangotta be £100k worth of speakers sat there? 🔈🔈🔈
Yes, I rescued them from a warehouse and refurbished them all about 3 years ago as a fun project.
@@stacreman Thanks, very interesting
Location of the this second place restaurant (hot pot) & entertainment ? On google map?
Suki restaurant?

It's going to be a great Darkside GC Nice restaurant too! It's NOT always about tourists.
Why would anyone ever try this???? 🤦♂️
coward

As a patron I would def check this out
The main reason is to sandbag the girlfriends. Get them distracted running the Suki so I can go out and have a beer in my beer garden uninterrupted.
I would 😊
Instead of a pool, do an elaborate waterfall/feature with couches and private areas around it to sit.
Keep the theme simple,,girls..booze..swimming pool!! Yes
In my eyes his has an identity crisis already ..goodluck tho

This guy must have money to burn once bitten twice shy but hay good luck
Don't like the idea unisex toilet causes problems put in another 😁
It's very rare we have girl customers in the gents clubs. It's male customers or female bar staff. The female bar staff have seen it all before.
@@stacreman ok got it😁👍
Annoyingly Steven is a bloody good bloke as well as very smart businessman, that’s why I spend my hard earned cash at his establishments.
All a waste of money imo...I hope I'm wrong, good luck anyway...✌️

@@frankwe6095 I hope it will be good. There are many "rights" with this idea in my opinion.
