Beautiful tribute. I had to put my Boston Terrier, Ebi, down on Jan 22, 2024. I've had him for 11 and a half years. He was my best buddy. He loved going to the park and chasing geese. I gave him his Best Morning Ever before his 12 noon appt euthanasia. He got to eat a Burger King burger plain right before we entered the building. I miss him dearly. There was that EMPTY feeling afterwards that lingered for a week. But we'll soon see him and other pets in the Rainbow Bridge. God bless.

Beautiful tribute to the best friend a human can get! I am sorry for your loss! It's hard to say goodbye to them, and it's a confusing feeling mixed with sadness for not having them and relief for not seeing them suffering. I lost my Jery almost five months ago, and it hasn't been easy not having him around. But what dries my tears is the satisfaction that he is free of pain and suffering now. I know they are all playing together now.

I also had an Aussie. When I was 12 my parents got me an Aussie and I feel in love with it. His name was pebbles but on October 4 2023, we lost him. He had a tumor in his leg and we didn’t want him to stuffer. He was my life. I’m sorry that you lost your dog. No dog could ever replace another one. May you have a good day ❤
In the 2 nd week of Aug 2004 I got 2 chihuahua mixes who were brothers . I lost the first 1 ( Muggsy) oct 18 2023 at 19 yrs 4 months and just lost his brother ( Spudz ) April 29th 2024 at 19 yrs 10 months . I miss them daily . So empty 😢. But will eventually get another . Definitely will be rescues . Sorry for your loss . And thank you for giving him a good life ❤

He had eaten something that caused him to get a temporary form of megaesophagus at around a year old. That's why he was eating out of that high chair in the video, the vet said he'd be lucky to have another year. I feel your pain

I know too what it's like. What I can't understand is how it is (if true, and if there's is a heaven ) that animals don't have a heavenly afterlife. It's said that only humans do. Me, I believe that's just human arrogance speaking, because if any being deserves heaven it is animals because they are angels, not humans, who have proven their kind to be evil. Should I be wrong and indeed only humans go to heaven, then I don't want any part of heaven. I rather go where the animals go, even if that means nowhere. I SAY THIS DAMN STRAIGHT 100%.
Via my personal beliefs I will never understand the theory of only humans in heaven. Why would a god give animals the ability to be a companion to humans only to say their soul is useless. I personally can't believe that to be the case. I feel animals would have never been able to be domesticated otherwise
