Can learning Solfege really be fun? Is it possible to sing a song on Solfege in a concert? Ken Berg answered that question in a big way when, years ago, he wrote the first Galop for young voices. 100,000 copies later, plus an SAB voicing, it seemed only right to release a voicing for SATB. The song is a concert-pleaser for sure, and the learning of Solfege is undeniable. Easy.

This is so incredibly hard!
Especially when your choir decides that the Alto's should sing the alto piece in the Soprano octave.
And all the solfege is hard, so fast pace!
We r doing it and we are win grade 6
And our choir teacher in my school is making us do the solfege hand symbols while singing like-
I was in grade 6 when I learned this it was so harddd
Let me tell you a story about 1:30.
It's sixth grade. My middle school choir has had this song in our folders for a few days at most. This is maybe the third time we've practiced, and things are going well, all things considered. Then, in the middle of the song, two of the students almost fall out of their chairs with laughter. Our instructor stops the song and looks at them with a mix of amusement and utter bewilderment.
"What happened," she asked them, while the rest of us students watched. When one of them finally recovered enough to speak, he said, in between laughs,
"We sight-reading... and we saw the words... and we just went ' *KEY CHAAAAANGE* '"
The sound of that kid screeching out "KEY CHAAAAANGE" at the top of his lungs, and the look on our instructor's face haunts me even now, a full decade later, as does the melody of this song.
This song is soooooooooo hard!:( But I too have to do this for choir.:(
Me too
Wendy Klamm it’s really easy in my opinion
I’m doing this as a warm in choir and it’s so fun it’s not that hard if you read ahead and keep the pace and beat
I did it for my all county concert today and somehow I managed to do the handsigns at tempo on the performance.
It’s not hard?!?!?!?!?! I love it
Key Change wee
Neto Kyatto i love that part lol
My choir teacher loved that to lol
Is it famous chior song??? Because I'm piano player on this song...
In our county, the middle schoolers did this in for All-County, and they did AMAZING
Good Memories of doing this in my high school choir during my sophomore year. It was challenging but such fun. I practiced it so much that I still remember parts of it. Was one of only three tenors but we got through it sadly, it's hard for me to do tenor stuff anymore my voice dropped big time after that year
I felt that, lol! 😂
I've sung this before. Soooooo hard, but soooooo satisfying when you get it AT THE CONCERT 100% RIGHT! Definitely the hardest song I've done but definitely recommend it.
What a great song that was wish I could perform it again
I did it for choir as well, it was so fun to learn and sing. We have moved in to new songs now, but today we went back to sing a couple of the songs we sang a while ago for the fun of it.😊
I did this a couple years ago for my high school's spring concert.
Loved seeing this performed by my high school choir cause there were like 20 sapranos/altos and only 3 Baritones carrying the entire song. Ngl they killed it though
The 6th graders at my school are singing this 💁🏻♀️
We sang this when I was in 6th grade too
Dude same I gotta sing this for choir
I'm singing it rn in my class lol
6th grade version in my school is so much easier than this. It's just.. a huge bundle of part 1 and part 2 only. I have no idea which represents, but I'm part 2.
I have too 😭
This is our choir song

I had to do sing this for MJH Choir
I love this but I was in 4th grade but I was in chorus But this song was for 5th grade
I sung this for my 6th grade year and I still remember it. I’m not in my freshman year of high school
I had this song in 5th grade aw memories
2:38 HOLY CRAP
Everyone saying this song was hard. When I was in sixth grade and singing this, it wasn’t hard at all and actually kind of fun. Listening to this recording, OK maybe we got an easier version??
We sung this for our Fall Concert along with African Lullaby and L Absent

This song is pretty easy ngl
ITS. NOT. THAT. HARD. IF. YOU. ACTUALLY. TRY. IT.
Okay how many of you have performed this song for choir?? And how many of yall epically failed. Because where we at now, zamn we are gonna embarrass ourselves in front of our whole district. Unless advanced choir comes through and carries us. Which they probably will
😂😂😂😂😂😂
