To all at HERD 👫 & 🐘s, I think it nearly impossible for you all to know how wonderful and mindfully transformative HERD vids are to us here in the US. I love how Phabeni has surprised everyone by choosing Setombe and I love how Setombe acts like she simply adores him! Good for Khanyisa for being a good girl today!--Only one or two sly little back kicks! I love how the heard is accepting this new little guy! He is just one of the cutest little things I've ever seen!
We all can learn from the kindness, selflessness and compassionate hearts being displayed by this amazing HERD. They are such a unique group of elephants who, in their own ways, have been hurt, abandoned and eventually accepted by their new family. They each know how it felt to be alone and are now showing the gratitude and maturity of having been saved. They are showing little Phabeni that he is now part of their family. There will be bumps along the way, just like any relationship. However, in the end, Phabeni will eventually see that this is his family and that he is not alone anymore. Thank you Adine and carers for all that you do 🙏❤️
So much love for little Phabeni! He is a very lucky little guy to have been rescued and now has a whole new family to love him. Elephant mothers are so patient and kind even when they have to discipline. I just love watching them interact and make sure Phabeni is safe and sound. ❤️
I’m glad Phabeni has an elephant umbrella to keep him dry so he doesn’t get chilled. It was so wonderful to see Khanysia being nicer to Phabeni this meeting with just one little nudge with her back leg. Hopefully each meeting she will start loving him and forming a bond with him. I hope the other Ellie’s reassure her that she is still loved as well. 💕🐘
I'm so amazed that Setombe has adopted him. I thought she was too dedicated and attached to Klaserie to want to take on a new baby, but what a lovely surprise. We know she's a brilliant mother so I couldn't be happier for little Phabeni 💙❤️🐘

@avs6372 they might not see your question, but I've heard them described as pressure sores in older ellies. Not sure if that's the case with Phabeni or not. He's had it for some time.
I am now as deeply in love with baby Phabeni as I am with the pink princess Khanyisa! This whole herd has stolen my heart for years now and the babies most especially! What a glorious wonder they are! It’s so amazing to see Setombe fall completely in love with “her” baby boy 🥹🙏🏻♥️
More, more, more Phabeni videos, please. Can’t get enough of the little guy, the herd and the whole crew. So excited about his integration - what a precocious and confident little guy!
Phabeni is finding so much comfort and joy with this wonderful loving family....the smells, the touch, the rumblings, the protection all contribute to keeping this baby calm and feeling like he really does belong. Thank you also to her brilliant human family for making all this possible. Beautiful video! ♥♥♥
Everything indicates that Phabeni will be healthy and will grow into a beautiful elephant, he has a very good survival instinct and appetite. I watch videos on UA-cam of other rescued elephants that are not always lucky to survive and I mourn the loss of a cute little angel, Doldol, in Kenya. Life is fragile, Phabeni, hang in there
Sooo true, as we saw w/Fenya...God Bless her little spirit and Adine and orphanage caregivers who were sooo loving and patient w/her (she was sooo traumatized + scared for abt a week, but she finally relaxed and began to trusted again, again thx to Adine + team-angels!...Sadly, she did not make it...and she was beautiful... RIP, precious one ✝️ Phabeni will make it...Altho, it took some time for him to pull out of his grief...He is a sweet, tender spirit...I think some of us wondered if he would ever "turn the corner"... Honestly, he rebounded I think when Adine + team started introducing him to the herd (that and enriching his bottles, he too was malnourished... Thank God, not as much as Fenya). After these introductions to Jabu + Lundi, then to Setombe and Klaserie, then the others, Phabeni started to come out of his shell...and he has been thriving ever since! Honestly -- the entire story BEFORE Phabeni came to HERD (Tokwe, feeling the "call of Nature" for another baby, almost kidnapped a wild baby ellie!!! Then soon thereafter, this lady finds an orphaned ellie on her farm, her refusal to allow authorities to put him down + Phabeni's subsequent rescue + arrival at HERD -- it is ALL such a GOD-LOVE-Story!!! I just love how they are always so excited to wrlcome all the new babies!❤. I know the carers worry the herd gets overly excited, but I think his natural family knows exactly what they're doing and wouldn't hurt him for the world, even to the point of protecting him from the occasional back kick from his big sisters🥰. It's just magical how they all allow him to suckle, knowing that's what he needs. Is it the same in the wild? Thank you so much for letting us see this! 💕
Hello Adine, I love watching your amazing elephant videos, love your beautiful & intelligent elephants. 😊 Sweet little Phabeni is so adorable & handsome. 💜
My heart is full ❤ with each and every video. Such a beautiful and caring family they are. Watching them protect and love him without hesitation. He is so happy to be with them and them him. Truly remarkable. Thank you for allowing us to see the journey 🥰
The progress of both the herd and Phabeni is amazing. All those trunks and all those feet and already Phabeni is negotiating his way round confidently.
Such loving gentle giants,my sweet Phabeni! Listening to all you carers. This says so much for the unity between Elephants and us. I love Kenisia🤗wow! I’m starting to remember every individual’s name. I am thrilled! It’s difficult not to bond with The Herd and all of you! You are so amazing!⭐️
Thank you !!! thousand times !! what a happiness to watch again how much the herd loves the baby who has a beautiful face now ! 2 months ago we could see its skull bones he is wondeful and Setombe so happy to be mother again incredible ! Khanyisa did big effort to stay wise !! and the girls protected phabeni from Khanyisa ! Khanyisa is adorable she received so much love and attention that now there is the baby but soon they will be brother à and sister ! She never had a little brother ❤ a wondeful moment except this rain ☔️ but we could see how much Setombe was as warm shelter for baby !!! I adopted Phabeni and It’s so heart warming to me !!! have a good evening all of you 💕🐘💕🌿🥰
"I can't believe how big Khanyisa has grown. I remember seeing her on UA-cam when she was just a tiny, helpless hurting calf. Now, she has grown so much that if she decides to sit on her mother, Adine, again, she will probably flatten her...smiles!!! It's amazing to see how much animals can grow and change over time.
Phabeni is so tiny, it's sometimes hard to spot him in the midst of all those legs and trunks! He seems perfectly at ease though. Very careful leg lift from Klaserie! Well done sweet girl!!! Lots of curiosity, love and protection 💙🐘💙😊👍🙏
I often have to pause the video to find him in among the limbs especially when he's hiding under someone's tummy. It's so nice to see Khanyisa realising that she's still everyone's favourite meisiekind and that there's room in their hearts for a cute baby seuntjie too 💙❤️
JUST the fact that they KNEW in the beginning of the video absolutely humbled me to no end, these elephants KNOW a baby is coming, PRICELESS footage phabeni is very courageous, go go phabeni!!!!! they got you my boy, youre too cute they love you very much sweet boy my king Sebakwe is ever the wonderful protector our sunshine baby khanyisa is obeying what she was told last time by all the HERD "dont kick your little brother and be gentle OR we have to "wall" you again ok??" and so khanyisa is behaving like a big girl, i love you my sunshine you will play in the future to come with your brother phabeni you both will be best friends
I will safely assume we all check everyday for Adine and the wonderful carers to bring Phabeni to mingle with the Herd🥰! They were so excited to see him💖! It was so precious to watch them follow him where he went. I knew when Phabeni went wee wee they would be inspecting that! Getting vital information on him! ~ What a beautiful treat to view this today~💜
By the behavior of the Herd you can see how important Phabeni is to them.. and the greeting ritual..has so much meaning. Such an intense experience. Beautiful, beautiful moments❤
One of the sweetest videos! I don’t remember ever seeing it rain during any of your videos either! The views of such intimate times between momma and Baby, along with the support of all the other elephants? Wonderful! Delightful to see! Also! Really enjoy the conversations between Adine and the workers! Wonderful! Just wonderful! Thank you for the great work you put in, to preserve and protect these magnificent creatures! Phabeni is doing so well with his introduction to the Herd elephants. The elephants are taking him in well. The mature female elephants are so kind and caring. It is fascinating to watch how the elephants behave around Phabeni. Their different personalities really show.
Elephants are very smart and bright animals always learning something new each day from them the baby is beautiful and cute stay with your family or herd God bless you guys you guys rock way to go stay safe and warm out there eat well bon appetit !! Joe ❤😂😂😅😊
It is fascinating watching the herd react to Phabeni, especially the adult female elephants. It's amazing how they all circle around him to keep him safe and they seem to know to watch and keep Khanysia away.
I❤watching these elephants. Pandemonium when Phabeni joins the herd with much trumpeting and everyone putting a trunk in to check him out. Then . . . bana grass. Eat the grass or smell the baby? 👀 The mother-y cows can’t get enough Phabeni. Maybe Khanyisa is finally seeing a new playmate. Phabeni has made the herd his own. Fearless. 🐘💜💜💜
That went by too fast! I could have watched much longer. How Phabeni is being loved is so beautiful to see. The moms sure keep their eyes on Princess K for any mischief! Even Fishan and Sebakwe ( the dads) were close by. Amazing. ❤️🇺🇸
So wonderful how they all wanne be infold with Phabeni ❤ so sweet the trunk smelling on Phabeni! Khayanisa is doing her best, she's like Look at me im behave very well, like she wants a pet on her shoulder. . she gone Lear her boundaries and one day they will be playing together 🐘❤️🐘❤️
Wow i just watched twicw in a row cuz SO much interactionw/Phabeni from so many trunks & all. 😃Trying to see who is doing what. Amaz8ng how they r now being very protective ofnew baby wwhile at times disciplining Khanyisa until she learns to be loving, safer, & gentlew/their new baby. Just like they did w/Timisa to Khanyisa. Timisa was thebaby til Khanyisa got there. And wow to see 1 of these giant ellies lift her leg up high& over Phabeni knowing she has to be super careful around him. Such a precious video! 🌷Thx for sharing these...dont want them to end & looking fwd to next. God bless u all! 😊🐘🐘🐘🐘

How Phabeni ❤️ hi all elephants 🐘❤️. Hi khanisa ❤️💕 do not be jealous. You have stolen my heart ❤️
He is so loved❤🐘
Hello Adine, I love watching your amazing elephant videos, love your beautiful & intelligent elephants. 😊 Sweet little Phabeni is so adorable & handsome. 💜
My heart is full ❤ with each and every video. Such a beautiful and caring family they are. Watching them protect and love him without hesitation. He is so happy to be with them and them him. Truly remarkable. Thank you for allowing us to see the journey 🥰
Can't forget about my baby girl. Love her pink trunk. She's is so beautiful. All the herd is beautiful
My heart went out to her when one of them pushed her with their tusk.
Kumbura would be such a doting, gentle, and attentive mother! I hope she gets the opportunity to have a calf of her own one day.
I think they are all so curious about him...and get excited when he appears. Everyone joins into the chaos! 🥰 The trumpeting is amazing.
I adopted Phabeni and It’s so heart warming to me !!! have a good evening all of you 💕🐘💕🌿🥰
Loved your comment. And so right on🥰

@@shoshannahorton7461thank you so much !!!!❤
Bravissima cara Clodi.🥰
So your a Mama for Phabeni too. Shes so loved! ❤
They love him already ❤.
They are the sweetest beings ❤😊
Phabeni is so tiny, it's sometimes hard to spot him in the midst of all those legs and trunks! He seems perfectly at ease though. Very careful leg lift from Klaserie! Well done sweet girl!!! Lots of curiosity, love and protection 💙🐘💙😊👍🙏
I often have to pause the video to find him in among the limbs especially when he's hiding under someone's tummy. It's so nice to see Khanyisa realising that she's still everyone's favourite meisiekind and that there's room in their hearts for a cute baby seuntjie too 💙❤️
@alison__16 Yes I agree! More than enough Love to go around! 😊💙🐘💖🐘🙏
JUST the fact that they KNEW in the beginning of the video absolutely humbled me to no end, these elephants KNOW a baby is coming, PRICELESS footage
phabeni is very courageous, go go phabeni!!!!!
they got you my boy, youre too cute they love you very much sweet boy
my king Sebakwe is ever the wonderful protector
our sunshine baby khanyisa is obeying what she was told last time by all the HERD
"dont kick your little brother and be gentle OR we have to "wall" you again ok??"
and so khanyisa is behaving like a big girl, i love you my sunshine you will play in the future to come with your brother phabeni you both will be best friends
I can never get over how tiny the babies look beside the adults. Love to you all for all you do❤
Sweet little bright eyes, Phabeni
I will safely assume we all check everyday for Adine and the wonderful carers to bring Phabeni to mingle with the Herd🥰! They were so excited to see him💖! It was so precious to watch them follow him where he went. I knew when Phabeni went wee wee they would be inspecting that! Getting vital information on him! ~ What a beautiful treat to view this today~💜
Lovely animals and lovely baby
Life can’t get any better a herd of elephants saved by humans thankyou
By the behavior of the Herd you can see how important Phabeni is to them.. and the greeting ritual..has so much meaning. Such an intense experience.
Beautiful, beautiful moments❤
One of the sweetest videos!
I don’t remember ever seeing
it rain during any of your videos
either! The views of such intimate
times between momma and Baby,
along with the support of all the other
elephants? Wonderful! Delightful
to see!
Also! Really enjoy the conversations
between Adine and the workers!
Wonderful! Just wonderful!
Thank you for the great work
you put in, to preserve and protect
these magnificent creatures!
Mary from 🇺🇸🙏👍❤️🥰🙏👍❤️🥰
The elephants trumpeting. So excited to see Phabeni. Esp Setombe God Bless her. Awesome video as usual.❤
Yes, I loved seeing and hearing that!😄💖
@@shoshannahorton7461Yes, me too! So many trunks, so little time!!😊
Phabeni is doing so well with his introduction to the Herd elephants.
Joe ❤😂😂😅😊
The amazing elephants are so tactile. I wish humans would learn from them.
I'm still nervous ❤ He's so tiny. The herd is amazing 👏 I'm sure they don't know their super strength! I was proud of🎉Khanysia. Literally baby steps.
Fearless. 🐘💜💜💜
Thank you for these amazing moments with you all 🐘🙏❤️
That went by too fast!
Es divino ver cómo enseguida se lo llevan entre ellos y lo protegen.
Me muero de ternura por estos elefantes.
This is extraordinary to witness❤
I love these elephants so much ❤ and all the humans too ❤
So happy to see this video today! Been missing sweet baby Phabeni…, hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 to ALL of you at HERD.
The whole herd is head over heels in love!!!😊
It's awesome the way you hold the camera to record. It makes me feel like I'm actually there.
Klaserie surprises me every time. She has so much love inside. What a sense of awareness as well! Wow that leg lift was something else!
Well done Klaserie.❤️😘❤️
@ange1mom438. Me too, as you said, well done Klaserie 😃💕🐘. She is amazing 🧡❤.
Phabeni has changed a lot for good.
Keep your loving care of the elephants
