Argentina's Javier Milei receives rockstar welcome in Madrid

- Argentina President Javier Milei walked out to a rockstar reception during a massive rally in Madrid held by Spanish right-wing party Vox on Sunday.
Nearly 11,000 supporters, as claimed by Vox, cheered speakers like French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen and Portugal's Chega leader Andre Ventura.
They also reportedly jeered at mentions of Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez, the UN's 2030 Agenda, feminism, and socialism, according to Reuters.
Milei received a standing ovation, kicking off his speech by singing an Argentinian rock song with altered lyrics targeting "lefties".
"The global elite don’t realise how destructive it can be to implement the ideas of socialism, because it’s too far from them," Milei said.
"They don't realise the kind of society and country it can produce, the kind of people clung to power and the levels of abuse it can generate.
"I mean, when they have a corrupt woman, they take five days to think about it."

It's a lie. I live in Argentina. Milei's government budget deficit is still huge and is even growing, because the income revenue from taxes has dwindled to a rivulet. This is so, because the economy, especially the industrial activity, has fallen so sharply that Milei has killed it. Now we are in the middle of a great depression, with pockets of famines in some provinces, and we're still spiralling down like an aircraft so merciless shot down. Not only he's laid off more than 75,000 government and public company clerks/workers, but he also stopped public infrastructure works that were under construction, with more than 100,000 workers being laid off. The construction of two additional nuclear power plants, a hydroelectric power plant, roads, bridges have been suspended, and the federal government is gonna be sued by these private construction companies for breach of contract. Javier Milei is a corrupt man, who committed nepotism, appointing his sister in a high position in government. He also appointed his friends, etc. Javier Milei is inhuman, deranged, and he's planning to hand over the country's sovereignty and natural resources to Black Rock and other international corporation .

Popular conservative voices who can't get enough of Milei now, hated Ron Paul when he ran on the same sort of platform. Then they say they want Trump, but the federal government grew with 50 thousand new employees under him in 4 years. A far cry from Milei firing tens of thousands of bureaucrats.
Let's face it, radical libertarian ideas are fun and awesome "somewhere else," but when American conservatives are faced with the real chance to shrink government in favor of real personal responsibility, they'll go back to what's safe and comfortable: big government Republicans who talk a good game but end up changing nothing.

Indeed. Pedro Sánchez has always acted like a proper narcissistic socipath. He doesn't care about Spain and his people, he only cares about himself holding power just a few more months. And if that means crossing red lines, so be it. He's now going to try to spin things around to justify the fact that he's going to be forced to call for early elections since his Catalan separatist allies are not going to support him anymore. He's already polarised Spanish society as much or more than Trump did with the American one, only in Trump's case at least he's always been very upfront of how he really is.
