What makes Mad Mikkelsen attractive? Mads Mikkelsen. I can not say a negative word about him. He is an outstanding actor, he is charming and a lovely down to earth person.
I'd really like to see an episode on Ezra Miller. His jawline is extremely sharp, and his face is quite defined and wide, yet he's still able to have a feminine look in my opinion.
@@pastapasta6555 basically he was in Iceland and a fan was talking to him and he was explaining how he had gotten some scars through fights over the years. Btw I'm not sure if masculine pronouns are what Ezra goes by so sorry if it comes off rude.
I'm actually surprised to hear some of this. I always found Mads Mikkelsen handsome, but in a quirky way. I didn't realize he was considered conventionally attractive. The first time I ever saw him was in The Green Butchers where his appearance was altered, so that may have affected my opinion, but even seeing him in other roles I always saw him as hot in a slightly off-putting way.
Now I could be making things up or reading too much into things but I think it is because he doesn't look white white, he looks white but like from a different ethnicity and in most American movies a big percent of the actors look British/American

Would be interesting to analyze how beauty standards change over time. Renaissance paintings are meant to depict the ideal image of man/woman but a lot of us today would maybe see these people as just okay looking. An even more recent example is JFK, who's often considered one of the best looking Presidents in US history, but even though we have pictures of him people today might not find him nearly as attractive.
Which is why Ted Bundy was considered handsome back in the day. The standards in the late 60’s, throughout the 70’s, and even into the early 80’s were clearly very low. In my opinion.
Princess Consuela Banana Hammock i don’t think they were low, or are high now. nowadays young girls are into weird feminine boys and older girls are into somewhat buff picture pretty men, which is fine. but back then guys had a “charming” and masculine aura instead of today. i personally find the men from back then better than today’s (i’m a 21 year old male). it’s what’s culturally going on that is determining what’s attractive and right now there is thing weird girl power and guys simping
The thing is that today the standards are more competitive on a global scale. Just until half a century ago, people's lives were just about their near surroundings, there were pretty people, but people compared with what they saw in real life, for example, the prettiest girl in the neighborhood or town... then with movie stars people started comparing themselves with a more specific group of people who were usually chosen because they looked pretty on film. A fun fact I found is that in early film, there were many more stars with darker eyes, even very dark brown, because they photograph better on black and white instead of lighter eyes, like pale green and blue, that looked ghostly. Now, with TV and Internet, beauty is "globalized". Now isn't enough to be the prettiest girl in the neighborhood, some people start comparing themselves to a much narrower group of people who are considered attractive. Anyways, there were also different standards of beauty usually reflecting societies' hardships and accomplishments.
I literally am so obsessed with him I have pictures of him all over my wall and I make sure to tell everyone I know how pretty he is at least once every day, he’s not just stunning in looks but he seems like the sweetest person
When it comes to polarising faces, I would love to see your analysis of Timothee Chalamet's face. How are his sharp features still associated with a pretty boy look? What is it about his face that is so polarising?
Metryann M that’s cause he’s young and slim, so he has the pretty boy look, as he ages he’s gonna be considered handsome and not pretty. Also I think he has the same effect Cillian Murphy has, where they both have very masculine jaws and amazing cheekbones but very feminine pretty eyes. I think any guy that has this combo tends to have a polarizing face.
FruitsandCoffee i don’t wanna sound like a dick but if you’ve seen this channels videos and still can’t tell what makes a face attractive then you might need summer school
I guess his open, round eyes and rather arched eyebrows could be considered more feminine. This is a contrast to his strong jawline etc. Also he has a rather small and not a long face, so no matter how strong his jawline is, there are other aspects which are more feimine and this builds a contrast.
Adam driver next pleaaaasee. He’s looks are polarising you either hate his face or love it and nothing in between. I think that would be super interesting.
I wonder if position of the mole affects attractiveness as well. Most beauty marks are either above the lips, under the eye or somewhere in-between both features.
he kinda does. tfor me, him ans chris evans has the same vibe. theyre hot guys, pretty and manly, but they have a very nice (as in the opposite of mean, or asshole) face.
It's such a classic style type of beauty, which I guess is why people compare him to Greek gods or Superman from the fifties. Like the embodiment of what the traditional ideal of beauty was.
He's beautiful ALL OVER! Not just his face, but his body, and have you seen his hands?! They're so beautiful ❤❤❤ His voice is so attractive too and his hair is the prettiest I've ever seen! He's a god...
When I look at The last kingdom and Vikings I go: All yes, it all falls into place now. They even have a line in the first episode: "When god wants to punish us, he sends us Danes". I'm like, girl where's mine then!!😂😂
A good example of a guy who looked a little goofy when he was young (check out one of his earlier roles like Starter for One) but who has grown into his face and now looks better than he ever did in his 40’s.
Hey love the series, I’d really like to see an episode on Timothée Chalamet, a lot of people think he’s cute but there are still many who think he looks “weird” or unattractive. I wanna see a breakdown on that x

I'm glad I came across this channel! People be like "he's ugly wtf" I'm over here like "he's mathematically perfect and he's also a pretty cool dude sooo"

@@bestcombos5945 yea it's really upturned but her nostrils can look quite big which doesn't really matter because the rest of her features are so beautiful!
I think his voice and how says things and his body language as he talks makes him even more attractive. I don't know of voice is a physical trait but I think it should be.
For me, he has this aesthetic vibe of a classy intelligent villain. I was honestly quite pleasantly surprised to know that several roles he had done were indeed classy intelligent villains. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I learned how amicably goofy the real him can actually get.
2:30 Oh! Oh wow, he was pretty! I’ve never seen any of his young photos. He’s definitely still a handsome man. It’s so fascinating to me how the face changes with age. I was watching this video in the background, but I look away and I missed something. I’m gonna have to watch this again. 😆

Sage Agbonkhese Never heard anyone call Mads conventionally attractive though. Is it just the people I know? When I tell them I think Mads is beautiful, they say something like “WTF he looks creepy”.
I'd be so curious to see an episode solely dedicated to brows. It's possibly the most budget option for altering your facial features to a great extent.
His best features according to me is the mouth and high cheekbones. I love the shape of his lips, esp when he smiles. Not to mention he has an amazing nose as well. Cillian has beautiful eyes but average looking nose and jaw. I dunno how you found them similar looking. Mad is more muscular and handsome.
You mention how facial structure can impact modelling, photoshopping, and plastic surgery, but can you talk on how it affects photography? How do photographers use these concepts to better capture their subject?
the skull shape is his biggest advantage. this is why he is over 50, and still considered attractive. other men are chads in his 20s and 30s... but in their 40s and 50s they lose it all. this is because their skin makes them beautiful, but when they lose that. they lose everything.
@Blair Waldorf Obviously this is somewhat subjective. However, in my opinion I believe her face was uniquely beautiful. I think it's the softness of her features (which ultimately went with age) and the hardness of her jaw. Also, each individual feature was not 'perfect' but I think all together they gave her that wow factor; it's what he was saying before about the optimal mix.
Blair Waldorf You’re right but at the same time you just said what her made more than just typically beautiful. Her eyebrows. It’s that combo that made her so gorgeous. I agree about Grace Kelly, btw, beautiful and perfect but nothing interesting.
Attractiveness isn’t always just the way one looks, it’s a combination of things. It’s talent, how one carries themself, education, (book smart and street smart) how they speak, a little on the humorous goofy side, but when it comes to Mads.....just everything about him is perfect, smokin’ hot!!! 🔥😈🖤
His characters are Perfect to project your daddy issues on: dad age - check, powerful and put together - check, yet unhealthy, mean, downright horrible men - check.
Mads Mikkelsen and Jodie Comer, both played psychopaths so amazingly that you will fall in love with them, their characters, Hannibal and Villanelle, are basically the same murderers, psychopaths, bisexuals, they use this to attract victims, charming, elegant, polite, use etiquette, fall in love / obsessed with their rivals who want to defeat them, try to convince their rivals that they are the same and that they should be together and most importantly of all, they are both the best thing about their respective shows.
this is such a good vid, i like that you mentioned the ageing process and how it still worked in his favour due to his nearly perfect ratio. might you do naomi campbell one day? she’s been a supermodel from her teens to her 50s and i wanna see what the science is behind her factual structure x
Cheekbones , piercing eyes, hot body & that very still, 'icy' thing. As someone said about Hitchcock's favourite actress Grace Kelly: "under all that ice, is ....... fire"
I think you should do one about Rami Malek, he is the perfect example (to me) of an unusual beauty with is non symmetrical face. I find it interesting.

So true!!!!!

The pictures of him as a child look EXACTLY. And I mean EXACTLY like my mom. She’s full Dane, and the people of that town all had the same “look”. Though after living for a few years in Copenhagen, it seemed less prevalent, which is odd because he’s from Østebro. I don’t really know how to explain it.

There’s something about the way Mads carries himself, and the way he talks. Not in character I probably wouldn’t give him a second thought. He’s very silly outside of his films. Nothing wrong with that. There’s just something about the commanding presence he has in his more memorable films and tv appearances.

he's so ugly he offends me
@@theshockinglyeloquentdog9945 why? Because he is still more beautiful than you?
What makes Mad Mikkelsen attractive? Mads Mikkelsen. I can not say a negative word about him. He is an outstanding actor, he is charming and a lovely down to earth person.
I'd really like to see an episode on Ezra Miller. His jawline is extremely sharp, and his face is quite defined and wide, yet he's still able to have a feminine look in my opinion.
Yes Ezra Miller!

@@pastapasta6555 basically he was in Iceland and a fan was talking to him and he was explaining how he had gotten some scars through fights over the years. The fan then jokingly put up her fists and smilingly asked him if he wanted to fight. He then asked her "you wanna fight??" And grabbed her by her neck/throat area and put her on the ground.
Btw I'm not sure if masculine pronouns are what Ezra goes by so sorry if it comes off rude.
He’s both conventionally attractive and unconventionally attractive at the same time omfg

He is so interesting; his looks, his talent, the way he carries himself makes him so attractive....and such a badass.....
Would be interesting to analyze how beauty standards change over time. Renaissance paintings are meant to depict the ideal image of man/woman but a lot of us today would maybe see these people as just okay looking. An even more recent example is JFK, who's often considered one of the best looking Presidents in US history, but even though we have pictures of him people today might not find him nearly as attractive.
beans boy omg yeah this would be so good
Which is why Ted Bundy was considered handsome back in the day.

He's too pretty even for a pretty boy. Corruptible beauty.
Ooh, this please. I'm trying to figure out why so many find this kid so magnetic. I don't but I'd love to understand.
Also he has a rather small and not a long face, so no matter how strong his jawline is, there are other aspects which are more feimine and this builds a contrast.
i first saw him as hannibal and he was stunning to look at. i saw everything you describe here thought he must have been a knock out as a younger man.

Can you do a video on beauty marks, moles or birth marks on faces, that how some people look awesome with them??
Yeah, that would be really interesting. A lot of celebrities have a beauty mark.
Maybe it's because we like slight asymmetries?
@This Guy that actually makes a lot of sense. The villain in many movies is given a mole.
I wonder if position of the mole affects attractiveness as well.
Most beauty marks are either above the lips, under the eye or somewhere in-between both features.

I'd be so curious to see an episode solely dedicated to brows. It's possibly the most budget option for altering your facial features to a great extent.

Cillian's jaw is not average at all
You mention how facial structure can impact modelling, photoshopping, and plastic surgery, but can you talk on how it affects photography? How do photographers use these concepts to better capture their subject?
Good question
the skull shape is his biggest advantage.
this is why he is over 50, and still considered attractive.
other men are chads in his 20s and 30s... but in their 40s and 50s they lose it all. this is because their skin makes them beautiful, but when they lose that. they lose everything.
Please do young Brooke Shields! Her face is so beautiful
Rana Bel rey honestly young brooke was the prettiest girl in the world.
Blair Waldorf It is remarkable when you have the most perfect, delicate beauty in contrast with those strong brows.
