      Is it possible to wear FRAS over Hyperline? Of course you can duct tape them together, but will they fit together in the available carrier(s)?

    I would love to see a side by side comparison with other IIIa soft panels, especially certified ones

    Your police department is very fortunate to have an officer of your skillset and talent! Thank you for your dedication both on and off the job. I wish you nothing but the best in your quest for both justice and civilian obedience. Watching you reminds me of an old police chief back in my day who was a no fail collector of bad guys and criminals. He loved our community and we loved him then.... and we still love him now. He was a known freemason, nobody cared though.....because he had our backs, and we sure had his. Without getting sidetracked one night the PC was arresting and apprehending a very violent criminal. Now, for some of you younger guys.... at this time, body cameras were still a very new thing and the local police were learning how to manage the body cameras correctly and still get the job done. Long story short, the PC's body camera unfortunately malfunctioned and video recorded him planting a burner weapon along with 1 kilo of cocaine on the subject. Unfortunately IA jammed up our wonderful police chief and he was convicted and sentenced. Now days every jackoff with a camera "supposedly exercising their rights" is recording the police and shouting at the top of their lungs how police are consistently the #1 leading profession in domestic violence, and police are not even in the top 20 most dangerous jobs and the #1 leading cause of death of police is car accidents. To those libtard antipolice jerks...I say, how many times did you wear the badge? how much public service have you contributed? Police are what makes this country great! Support the police! #backtheblue!

    @freefieldtraining Do you know what I figured out? I was going over my plate carrier and noticed on the inside where the full plate goes to protect the rear, Inside there is an insert for another plate. On the front of the plate carrier there is a velcro pouch, but on the rear plate carrier that same pouch is on the inside. You have to remove the plate to locate the insert slot plate holder.

    For everyday patrol would you wear the hg2 or their red 3a+ if hyperline was not an option?

    Hey guys I work as a private process server and sometimes armed security officer, and very occasionally as a private investigator. For my line of work I really do think concealable is the way to go especially since violent offenders probably really wouldn't be expecting me to have body armor on in the first place (unlike a beat cop where it is more less expected I totally get why departments went with a thicker and more protective vest). Any suggestions or recommendations? I am more on the big & tall side.

    Wonder if this is as thin as hyperline?
    And if there is anything in the pipeline for thinner anti stab plates as well
    Either way might be time for an upgrade

    I like to save life stuff. But it won’t stop 5.56 or 300 blackout or 5.7. And those are all very common browns. So liking the lightness of it. I would still have to wear my steel plates over it. Those are the rounds. They are all very common rounds today.

    I've been without armor for just over a year now, they say I'm a special order because I'm a big guy. Is this worth me just buying my own and just eating the cost? I'm armed security in south FL. I'm 6-5, 285lbs.

      Hell no brotha that’s like carrying a duty pistol in your level 3 Safariland holster with no bullets in the magazine. Yes I’ve seen this while doing armed security. Stay safe homie and wear both front and back plates please.

    What’s better 3a+ or hg2

    • @freefieldtraining
      @freefieldtraining  6 місяців тому

      In @safelifedefense product line the hg2 is way thinner and lighter than the 3A+. The 3A+ is way more protective against exotic threats (like shotgun slugs, 5.7, liberty civil defense ect) than hg2. What is better is a matter of what you value.

      It really depends on the size but on average about 4 pounds for a set of front and rear panels.

    With some of the street guns modified to be rapid fire , would this vest be able to prevent fatal wounds from firearms with switches?

    • @belladonna442
      @belladonna442 9 місяців тому +4

      unlikely that any rapid fire weapon would score multiple hits in one place or even more than 2 or 3 vest shots. I'd be more worried about limb wounds in that case. keep your situational awareness high, and your medical kit on you
