The #15 normally driven by Deegan today Joey Lagono replaces Deegan getting an 8th place finish.A lot of people during the season says the #15 crew chief and crew are at fault for Deegans poor results in the exfinity series.Yes Joey is by far more experienced in racing but this finish proves the car is up to par with the other teams and can finish well where Deegan most races is laps down or crashed herself and other teams out receiving a DNF.
While true, this is also a complete anomaly of a track compared to every other track Deegan has raced in the 15. You have more xfinity drivers that struggle at this track compared to the rest, and then throw Logano in with them and he’s bound to run well.

I would like to see them tackle Long Beach or Belle Isle. It would have to be a slow expansion, though, it wouldn't be wise to introduce too many street circuits too quickly.
Imho (I'm talking as a european viewer, Italian specifically) NASCAR should get rid of some ovals and add more street/track races. Much better show and you really see the best drivers mastering their cars in this kind of races, doing heel and toes, wrong footing opponents, etc. You don't see this kind of action on and oval, it reminds me of the Super Touring golden era of the '90s/early 2000s over here...and Scott McLaughlin should join the show banging wheels with SVG, Indycar isn't for him.
Ehhh, ovals in general provide much closer, more exciting racing. Obviously the intermediant package this year is amazing not so much the short track and super speedway packages. But that variety of short, intermediate, super speedway, road course, and now street course is what makes it awesome. The ovals are really their own monster. It takes a lot of skill to work those, I mean you see how good avg is here but he still hasn’t really figured them out. Not to mention ovals are what makes it unique, traditionally American, and also come to a track near everybody. All that to say I do love americas road courses and would love to see more of them. And obviously this Chicago thing has been a huge hit.

Boring yes, easy not at all...all I'm saying is that with a calendar of almost 40 races only 3 of them aren't on ovals, if I recall correctly, Sonoma, COTA and Chicago. Way too unbalanced to me. I did part of my studies in the US and I've personally been to Sebring (fantastic event), been to an airstrip to watch a minor drag race (I think it was affiliated with NHRA), different from what I'm used but fun nonetheless. One day I was in Daytona for some flight training and stock cars were testing that same day. The sound is great, the liveries are cool but after 5 minutes it's boring, I'm sorry. It's a bit like modern F1, from the outside they look too easy too manage (on ovals) even if they aren't and when they run packed...way to many crashes, it's basically a lottery.
I wish there was a timeline involving SVG, ‘Dinger, Robby Gordon, and Marcos Ambrose all racing on road courses together. That being said I think Gordon would just wreck the field, get himself black-flagged, and then start doing donuts claiming he won

Last night for the race that was really good good racing in the Xfinity racing that was really good and after INDYCAR is done done there, it will be the cup drivers to battle the streets of Chicago. I know that will be pretty good and and if they ever did try different race tracks, probably go to New York City, New York City and turn New York City St. streets and racetrack or other cities into racetrack streets into race tracks, but I know I’ll be a race now let’s watch the IndyCar race and see who will win. We’ll see who win the IndyCar race today.
15 car finishes 8th so Hallie nascar career is probably over safe to say. She'll make more money as a youtuber and anyway especially with her own brand of merchandise 🤷
I agree Joey is a hall of fame driver but regardless it still says a lot when anyone jumps in a random car and runs top 10 when she definitely wasn’t going to finish top 25 in this race

As a Larson fan I always enjoy when he makes one of his few Xfinity starts, the dynamic with SVG is impressive.
Still impressed by this track. Not the most exciting design but it plays to NASCAR’s strengths very well and has plenty of room to run side by side.
It's the crossover potential that does it, the corners are mostly all set up for passes
