Being an animal rescue owner I understand all the heartache & frustration when the sweet fur babies are returned. We had a dog returned after living with her family for 10 YEARS 😢 She was so depressed & confused 💔 Hopefully magnolia is in good hands with the immature adopter’s mom. Bless all your hearts! Hugs! You guys do such amazing work with these incredibly deserving furry friends of ours.

Stefanie! You must try my gift wrapping idea I’ve used the past couple of years: Just use pillowcases & fabric/swaddles! Nobody usually cares much about wrapping paper anyway, & just throws it away. This way, you just take it back! I know you can probably find a few bits of fabric somewhere in the house! =D I hope this saves you tons of time. I know it’ll bring more cheerfulness & beauty under the tree!
Hope Magnolia is ok. Sending love to squark. We had 3 tiny babies under 3 weeks of age dumped here. Tropical heat 35C and storms, just not fair on tiny kittens. You are a great heart and babies please slow down you are both growing up so quickly.

My grandson will turn 8 months on December 23rd. He hasn’t figured out the forward crawl yet. He’s great at doing planks and the backwards crawl. I’m glad squak is feeling better. It just seems to be one thing after another this time of year. Sick kids and cats.😊
Oh, Stephanie, be mindful of your sleep as its so important for your physical and mental health. I have a chronic sleep disorder, so despite being on multiple medications to help it, im chronically tired. When I do get a full night's sleep, I do feel more tired and unfocused the following day. However, its my body crying out for more. Perhaps, if you get several good quality sleeps in.a row youll feel better? I always feel like superwoman when im actually caught up on sleep. My hubby jokes that hed better watch out because he knows I'm a woman on a mission to get everything done that my sleep deprived mind and body couldn't do. For the kitty, it sounds like the adopter was just miffed at having any requirements for drop off and is acting like a spoiled child 🙄. Hopefully, the kitty is really with her mom. If he was with a shelter, theyd definitely contact you though. I had a similar situation with a dog years back. We had to rehome him, but when he'd wandered off and picked up by animal control they contacted me. I said if they didn't get him id definitely take him back. I followed up and they did come get him. Otherwise, he'd have lived with me.
