Tristan Leatemia “Ay, this ain’t the police, dog! This some Ballas bullshit!”
When the horns sound, you got a Three star wanted status. when the wah-wah guitar kicks in, you got the universe against you man.
While it is true that GTA V music is dynamic and changes pace as the intensity of action changes or as the situation takes a turning point. This type of track is only heard in select missions and is unrelated to the wanted soundtracks.
Best fucking comment!!!!!

I remember as a kid for some reason I was blown away that Rockstar was actually using it's OWN soundtrack for missions and during cutscenes. It really sells the "cinematic" style they've always went for but never could quite get until 5. Love it.
This song is ridiculously good. I was sitting on the floor on this mission. Than when this came on adrenalin pumped. Stood up on my knees and BANG... head shot.

I have a theory, this song plays when your character turns off the music while flying in a heli. This could indicate that they have ptsd from pulling heists even with Michael and the gang before the game (this shows why it happens in single player too). Gta online also starts before gta 5 so that means our characters must of left early and even being the same person from gta 4 online even though they didn't do any heists. But I more support them being a part of Michaels gang.
I hadn't thought about that. Great theory
Five years later still my favourite
And another five years
A moment of silence for the people who are still searching for this 😔
The mission takes me back to GTA San Andreas.
And this music is really awesome.
I wish there were more of these gangbanger missions in GTA V.
Kinda like San Andreas reborn. But I guess gangbangers are settling down or something :p

The new order is here. The age of gangbangers is gone, the age of intellectual heists is here.
+DRB Central Television 9 days later the lowrider update came up.

Also, the fact that it's a cool mission as well
The thing about this song is that just by hearing it tons of nostalgic memories come rushing to your head : all the story missions, all the parkour maps and deathmatches , the police chases, the hours you spent flying an air vehicle whith radio off ...
people think these background scores arent that important but it actually makes a huge difference on the gamers mind that's why R* always wins making open worlds they make sure everything is so detailed
Man, I remember back in 2015 or so when I first got GTA V for PC. I was still in the university and I popped the original score on when I was studying for my finals to help me focus. Most badass studying sessions ever. Good times.
The "GTA Horns" carrying 80's influences, along with the repeated "In The Air Tonight" drum 'suggestions' accentuate this "things are getting tense but trying to stay cool" track, which is as catchy as it is memorable

I've been looking for this music !!!
Хрычмырь we all have
Nothing can stop you when this song comes.
I might be imagining things but I can swear that I heard this song in Kinect Adventures
This has like an 80's aesthetic to the background that you can barely notice, Michael is literally a representation of the 80's, seeing as he can't let go of that decade.
I just want for the next game( GTA 6) to fully embrace the 80's aesthetic, i want it to be on vice city, that would be amazing.
I think they need to do a remake of Vice City. Give it the Liberty City/Los Santos treatment and completely remake the map, but keep the story. When you think about it, Vice City (the city itself) only really works with the 80s aesthetic so I really think that’s the only way to go
I might get some hate for this one but I think it would be interesting to see a GTA game set in an area inspired by Massachusetts, centering around a Boston-based city
@@GamerBogsa yea
they prob gonna make it in north dakota
I want these character's to stay

Still one of the best and most underrated videogame OSTs. The work Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson and The Alchemist did on this game was absolutely legendary. Right up there with RDR1 and RDR2. Tracks like this one, Minor Turbulence, North Yankton Memories, A Haze of Patriotic Fervor and countless unnamed in-game pieces are huge standouts. GTA VI's OST is going to have a lot to live up to, and I really hope they bring Woody Jackson back for more, as well as TD if possible.
Bro forgot about DJ Shadow and Oh No 😭😭😭😭
@@noaharkadedelgado DJ Shadow mixed the work provided by the composers I mentioned (he also did the album mix). Oh No only worked on the intro track for GTA V, last I checked. Him and The Alchemist do have a song on The Lab tho.

One of the things I didn't quite like about the GTA games up to 4 was that, any time you left the car and its radio to do anything related to the actual story, the action always felt so dry and quiet. But when I first played the mission in GTA 5 with Franklin, Lamar and Stretch having to fight their way out of a warehouse full of Ballas and this tune started up, it was like something that I always knew was missing was suddenly there. It felt so amazing.

TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC!
Playing the mission "Long Stretch" was exciting. It was about your fourth big shoot out in the game. Boy, was that mission intense especially with this song playing. I was full focused and when the building caught fire and the song kick up. I was so focused and was on my A game (because I was playing free aim and it making everything 90% more intense). I loved that mission, the music, the shoot out, the intensity, the violence, and the chase. It was a mission that made me instantly think that this game is going to be a fun one.
When your parents give you two conflicting sets of instructions
