I love that Bas called Jacobs+Dillon+Lloyd a 3-headed monster, and 2 minutes later said he doesn't want to get too hype over OTA highlights lol
Lloyd will push Dillon out of the #2 spot.
GO Pack GO
The first thought that popped into my head seeing Lloyd make that cut was, “whoa, that was spicy”. I have no clue what that means but seeing a dude his size move like that was cool to see.
lmao, i love this comment
I think he look like Eddie Lacy was but maybe a little bit smaller height
Glad to hear you still acknowledge AJ. Dillon and give him some love. We have some new exciting toys in the backfield but AJ is still solid. I think he is aware of his perception/year last year and will have a chip on his shoulder this year. Plus I see us a 3back attack like your saying. AJD is still a tough tackle especially in the winter months. And I think Matt will have some nice wrinkles because you can run or pass to either of these guys.... Could also see AJD taking on more of a modern FB/TE role like Kyle Juszczyk.
Big facts on receiver depth vs. a true #1. This is much better. No team can key on any one player and you still have to account for each guys super power as a receiver at the same time. Matt is gonna have fun this year as will this youngest/vet team. GPG!!
Dillion is running back 2
Lol
A total bust
A top 50 poc uggh
@@robertmeyer5814 what are you capable of??
It's fair to give him the benefit of the doubt for a bounce back year helping GB win games.
People forget that Dillon is a complementary back and Jones being out through off the rhythm of that whole running game
@@GoosbyGoosbyNot a chance, Lloyd will be that and play more than Stumbles Dillon. Dillon constantly trips over his own feet and is awful at 3rd and inches. He will be lucky to be the 3rd back, he seriously might get cut if Wilson improves his pass blocking. AJD has been a huge disappointment, lets face it.
The Green Bay Packers established during the 2023-24 NFL season that they possess one of the deepest wide receiver corps in the NFL. Led by youthful talent all over the field, the Green Bay pass-catchers continued to contribute throughout the season as each began to make a name for themselves. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs showed great promise going into their 3rd NFL season, while Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks will look to build onto their rookie campaigns. Even Bo Melton and Malik Heath showed ability to be large contributors within a growing offense under our offensive-minded head coach Matt Lafluer. It is unclear going forward who will become the Green Bay Packers primary #1 wide receiver, as no one pulled away from the group as the season came to an end. There are plenty of arguments to be made for numerous Green Bay wideouts, each with its own intrigue and developed reasoning. It is possible that the Packers have not have someone step up and everyone remains equal as contributors. However, in such a youthful offense, these wide receivers are hungry for extra opportunities while the Green Bay Packers continue to grow towards a Super Bowl favorite. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
chat GPT ahhhh statement
Here for that cheesehead content!! Go Pack Go!
thanks for the videos! GPG
Josh Jacobs actually wants to catch the ball out of the backfield more. That was one of the first things he said, I finally get to display my hands. I guess they didn’t have lots of passing plays for him with the raiders?
Thanks so much!
Only thing that worries me about loves deep ball is he has a tendency to fall away on his deep balls. A lot of them are a bit under thrown and it’s more a good adjustment by the receiver where I’d rather he hit him in stride
Hope springs eternal this time of year
With such a young and talented team it's great to see them growing together as a team! Go Pack 😊
I’m hyped for Bo!
You are the man, when it comes to the Packers! 😎 You are the best at judging talent! 🤔 🤩
AJ Dillon will essentially be playing FB. Lots of the formations with him and Jacobs in the backfield.
Lets ride, packer country!
Dange'russ ruined this saying for me... But I get what you mean GPG!!
As a packer fan from Wilmington Delaware Im happy that the packers show love to the few Delaware guys that make it to the nfl.
Ayee! Im close to Wilm as well.
Hell yeah packers nation is everywhere!
If Josh Jacob’s fumbles the ball first carry of the year I’m blaming you for comparing him to Amari 😂
I could be wrong but I could've sworn Jacob's came out of college as 1 of the best pass catching backs.
Super bowl 🏈 this year go pack go
God damn jacobs is caked up
Lmaooo
Leave God out of it.
@@KamikazeJustice god is everywhere can't leave him out of anything
Regarding Jacobs catching balls out of the backfield- Similar numbers to Jones, but keep in mind who was throwing him the ball. It wasn't Rodgers or Love. That'll help make up any differences in itself... He'll have a good year.
Jacob’s is gonna help our defense in training camp. They NEED to work on the run defense
Jacobs looks explosive.
I hope Loyd is running back number 2 over dillion
I really think Lloyd is better off as the third back, the fast and quick change of pace back with Jacobs and Dillon the two main backs. Maybe he could be a solid third down back
Agree. Dillon is too average, and his stats prove that.
@@outsidelookinginprod I doubt that Lloyd would think he's better off at #3. Lloyd will be #2 very quickly.
lets go Basaraski!!! GO PACK GO
Dillons always been praised for his lower body, but this year he added serious muscle for his upper body
Will it keep him from tripping over his own feet and falling down?. The softest 250 pound back in history.
Man, Lloyd is going to be exciting but the fumbles. I can’t help but look back and wish we’d taken Jaylen Wright. Bo, looking good agreed, he made a lot of plays last year. And if Watson can come back then we do have a true number 1. How many teams do have a “true number 1”? Maybe a handful.
How can you criticize a decision without seeing him take a snap? He fumbled in college. We haven't seen a single fumble from him in the pros yet. Maybe wait until he fumbles on the Packers before looking back at a different running back option and label it as better
@@outsidelookinginprod Yeah the positive with Lloyd is that if he can cure the fumbling he’ll be one of the great draft steals. His playmaking ability is obvious to me. But simply curing a major fumbling issue is not easy. He fumbled at an extremely high rate and not very many guys can cure that. Most guys with small hands, which Lloyd has, that fumbled in college, continue to fumble in the NFL. Thinking that they can just cure his fumbling problems is a very low %. Historical statistics show this, that’s why I critique the pick. But if he puts in the work, anything is possible.
When I realized marshawn Loyd didn’t have pads on😂
This offense could be special.
8 is Ryan Longwell in my subconscious
Who didn’t know Jacob’s was An amazing receiver…Since Bama bro .
We all know that if they become great as a young offense, they won't be able to afford to keep everyone long term. Still, nice problem to possibly have. P.S. I hate the new "anything goes" approach to issuing jersey numbers regardless of position. P.S.S. I'm old - LOL.
The Packers could get a lot of draft capital for WRs they decide to trade away.
As of last year, I'd say wicks was our most reliable deep threat. Never knew where he was gonna be.
Rasheed Walker is not giving that LT up
He may not have a choice.
Jacobs looks like Dillon and Aaron Jones had a baby!
Marshawn Lloyd reminds me of James Starks kinda
I'm still gonna make the comparison. Doubs is the reggie wayne as watson is to marvin harrison.
go pack go🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀
Elgton Jenkins is 28
This team is loaded
Aj Dillon is almost the exact same size and weight as Jerome Bettis was.. it would be Glorious if he was equally as tough.
Jamal Williams and Aaron Jones were better than AJ Dillon.
Jacobs and Lloyd could be the best duo yet
@@richardcheese9152 I can't wait to see that happen.
You didn't have any clips of jarveon howard???
I have no corn for the offense at all! They are young and hungry with chip on their shoulders. The defense is what I want to see.
Rotating guys at wr are going to be hot and cold. The top 3 wr guys are going to take 30-40 snaps. The rest are not getting enough. Having true 1 will set the alpha from the betta.
Found the bears fan guys....
The only positive Jacobs has over A. Jones is that he's younger. Jones is faster, and averaged more yds per carry.
BTW... Christian Watson will be alright.
Babe wake up bas posted
Go pack go 🧀🧀🧀
He starts at Right Guard
Bo Melton is going to be wide receiver number 3 at least he's a beast
Number 4. Still gonna be Watson Reed and doubs as the top three
You guys must have forgotten about Wicks, Melton will be the best #5 receiver ever. The Pack is stacked!
@@SPICYTUNAROLL69 I haven’t forgotten about him. Tbh I think the packers let doubs go at the end of his contract and wicks steps into that spot
@@leonsumrall524 That is definitely a possibility, he certainly showed a ton of potential in his rookie season.
@@leonsumrall524 No way. I'd keep Doubs over Wicks all day long, everyday.
Clifford was number 8 too
best team in the world.
6:05 For his huge size he has huge bursts, deadly man and yes, screen passes please bring back the screens.
3 awesome backs period.
Doubs can shape up to be a Rod Smith (Broncos)/Muhsin Muhammad (Panthers) type WR. Steady, reliable, not exactly great at anything but VERY GOOD at everything. I'll take that for 10yrs in the Green & Gold
also, jacob’s is the oldest skill player but elgton jenkins is the oldest on the offense not jacobs
You can tell backpedaling isn’t edrin cooper strongest features
Very average. There will be some very disappointed Packers fans.
@@KamikazeJustice hopefully he makes up for it in the run game
If Melton can be a #2 or #3 on a lot of other teams.....what could we get in trade for him?
Hopefully, a 3rd RD pick. But it'd probably be a 4th RD pick.
@@KamikazeJustice If that's the case, I can see a lot scenarios where we make that trade. Maybe like Bills, Patriots, Arizona, Titans...
Much rather a true#1. The difference is Andre Risen in 96 then no Risen in 97 and 98.... your number 1 will make your 4s and 5s looks like 2s. A bunch of 2s just look like a bunch of 2s.... like the deal Harper got playing#2 to Irving in Dallas from Detroit. He only looked legit cause the playmaker was on the other side
Christian Watson is that guy if he solved his hamstring issues this offseason and stays on the field. He is such a threat that teams have to keep an eye on him which opens up the other receivers to make big plays. So, I think the Packers do have their number one but it's just about his health. That's the concern.
@outsidelookinginprod I do agree with Watsons capabilities but I am worried about injuries. Not just to him but Reed too. Hope I'm wrong cause I want them to do well but the best year we had in awhile we drafted almost all offense. Wish we did that again instead of fantasizing about defense.
@@vincecable5787Packers fan "this year will be different" .
Do you have any clips of AJ Dillon?🫤
They didn't show them because it was embarrassing, he kept tripping over his own feet and falling down.
Elgton Jenkins is 28. He's on offense.
I meant skill position wise
They Not Like Us 🧀
Go pack
3:00 Jenkins is the oldest player on the offense. C'mon Bas you know this stuff.
Was talking skill players
Cali 🧀 head 4life.....
Go Pack Go!!
Aaron who???😂
Hey man, money is tight. Can I get my donation for your dog back? He died before the surgery, so like... I could really use that. Thanks, bro.
I’ll start by saying I’m a JL superfan, but I have to disagree with your statement about him being one of the best deep ball passers in the league. I would argue that he’s actually one of the worst in that category. Tell me which pass he ever hit a receiver in stride over 45-50 yards? Which game was it?
Jordan Love completed a 77 yard pass to Christian Watson against the Raiders in '23. Might not be as recent, but hey you asked for one. Google is free.
@@Packend Maybe just leave this conversation to us adults and go practice your upper case letters. My point was that JL has one of the weakest arms in the league, he has yet to complete a pass to a receiver IN STRIDE over 45-50 yards. There’s been 2 maybe 3 he completed for about 50 yards but the receiver had to stop on his route and come back for it.
The pass completion you brought up from the Raiders game was a 35 yard throw and catch, the rest was run-after-catch. UA-cam is free
marshawn lloyd is gunna make the packers seriously consider releasing jacobs after 1 season
They will release Dillon before anyone else.
I like JJ, but he's not AJ. AJ has averaged 5 yards/carry; JJ 4.2. This is significant. I would have kept AJ another year. No sign of dropoff. Almost a yard more per rush. That will cost us.
Agree. Jacobs only advantage over Jones is that he's younger. Jones advantage over Jacobs is that he's faster, and gets more yds per carry.
I just hope letting Jones go doesn't bite the Packers in the derriere.
Don’t go crazy, Bas, cause Love was NOT a great deep thrower last yr! He under threw many many long tosses! Remember LaFleur declaring, “He just needs to let it go n trust the WR to catch it!”
Also recall in that Dallas PO game, Love woefully underthrew a wide open Musgrave who had to stop his route, quickly run back to the ball n caught it below knee level, tucked n turned back up the field to race the Safety into the end zone! It was a great play but mostly due to Musgrave’s adjustments on the fly vs Love’s superior ‘downfield throwing abilities’!
You are just remembering the bad throws. Do you remember the amount of pressure that was on him before making that throw? Or how about the deep pass to Wicks that was right on the money between defenders. Same happened with a pass he threw to Jayden Reed against the Vikings. But sure. He can't throw a good deep ball. Whatever you say. You're the expert.
@@outsidelookinginprod There were a lot of bad throws though. With many of the passes, WRs had to make dives to make the reception, which made Love appear to be better than he was. Few passes were caught by WRs in their stride.
Monk wasn’t even that good in college tho.
They should've retired #8 for Amari Rodgers.
Wat happened to Amari Rodger’s
@@tyreejohnsonhe was so bad, he wasn’t good at WR do they switched him to punt returner, he fumbled 6 kicks in a season, 3 of them I believe were Picked up by the other team, he was released immediately after the season ended and he hasn’t made a roster since
@@GarrettHampton2004 Just a small correction, he fumbled 5 kicks in the first 10 games of 2022 and got released mid season after that tenth game
@@henry9361 oh fuck it’s even worse than I thought
Yep, a true Packers legend...and total asshole.
Hot take Jacob’s will play less games this year then Jones played last year. He is injury prone and until he proves me wrong that’s the vibe. On top of that how well does Jacob’s do in cold weather?
What you should be saying is how well will opposing defense be against jacobs in the cold
Josh Jacobs at least had a full season where he played every game and that was the year he led the league in rushing. He is no more injury prone than Aaron Jones. As for the BS about the cold weather, really? You act like he never played in cold weather before, and usually it's not the bruising running back that struggles in the cold. It's the defenses trying to tackle him. Plus cold weather is when AJ Dillon shines so I could see him being dangerous during that time of year.
@@outsidelookinginprod he has and you should look up the stats. Most career fumbles in his career in cold weather games. Thats the new environment he will be playing in. You act like Green Bay is warm most of the season. Lmao
@@Next.level.mindset247 That will be when Marshawn Lloyd gets his chance to shine.
Chill with the ads bro….that Mandi stuff was trash.
He's making money to be able to get these videos out for us. I'm willing to sit through the ads in order to watch the video.
Firstly it's not trash, that's my actual opinion. Second, this is my full time job, sponsorships pay the bills
@@Basaraski There's no need to take showers anymore... heh? You probably got a year's supply, so you need to say, it's good.
@@KamikazeJustice Again you're wrong. They sent me one starter pack, and I've bought more myself personally. You don't have to like it, but its my channel.
Doubs should be reciver number 1 over Watson
I don't know. Watson is more of a big play threat with his speed. People underestimate Watson because of his injuries but if he stays healthy, we will see just how good he is and the difference he makes
@@outsidelookinginprod Agree. When Watson is in the game, good things always happen.
