I use a suitcase generator put it on every 2/3 days for a few hours and it gets everything charged It is a must-have for the winter weather will run for 3 hrs on 1 lt of petrol but it saves you from being stuck with no power you can get them for about £150 mine is now 10 year old and never let me down
Absolutely it’s a must have, I have the same myself for my motorhome, even tho I have 2 solar panels but you always need aback up.

MPG is similar to mine at twice the weight :) That's a thirsty laptop, my 17" screen i7 uses about 35-40w when plugged in and full, but will pull 100w if battery is empty and its charging - and will do about 3hrs on a full charge.
Water will feel warmer when the air is colder, and feel colder on a mild day - feel free to test that next time its sub-zero and frozen.
Ah no way! yeah that's not far off what mine uses! but battery needs replacing! Yeah defo, I enjoyed the cold water as when you get out you feel warm!
