Its a journey and I try always to remember that Jesus Christ came for the sinners and murders and all the other things that make me feel like a horrible human being let alone a decent "Christian". Last will be first and all the darkness will come to light. The trials and tribulations are transforming us into a more Christ like being. Which is my ultimate goal and I think a huge piece to this puzzle. Stay blessed!!! Try not to beat yourself up and remember every morning is new. He is right there with you all the time :) I just talk to Him all the time, helps.

I gave my life to the Lord many years ago after a near fatal overdose. 15 years later, I have backslid, and I can’t feel it anymore. I am scared that I’ll move farther and farther away and never get it back. Would someone please Pray for me? 🥺❤️🙏🏼. I miss the immense Peace, and Love I felt. It was the best time in my life.
I know this from experience!!! I'm very glad that you have this fear about losing your faith cuz it'll just keep building up until it will make you cry out the biggest cry you have ever had in your life towards the Lord and then you will feel what you have felt in the beginning again!!! That's how it works

God works his miracles in life, i was a meth head high school drop out doing no good, disowned by family and homeless & sleepin at friends house. I remember praying while on a hard comedown that God would change my life so i can get back to living normal life and not dependent on drugs....well he answered my prayers. I was in a horrible car accident in 2005 broke my shoulder , shattered pelvic bone, fractured femur, broken jaw, and ankles. Teeth were lodged in my airway when fire department or ambulance arrived, they cut me out with jaws of life and then cut my throat for an emergency tracheotomy, when they did that my teeth feel out and i was revived and taken to hospital. Woke up 13 days later from induced coma with tubes coming out of my throat many wires and ivs hooked up couldn't speak or move besides arms in wich i started freakin out and taking them off, drs rushed in and calmed me. I did not know at time i was in an accident because i was sleeping in passenger seat when we hit back of parked tow truck doing about 55mph the driver flew out windshield and broke collar bone and had cuts. My mom stayed with me 24/7 at hospital for the next couple months and i knew it was my wake up call and prayer being answered that i was alive and given a second chance, jad my hip replaced in 2007 at 22 years old , pelvic has pins and screws , metal bar from right shoulder to elbow and bar in left leg from knee to ankle. Had major head swelling & trauma as well, they told my mom i may never walk or talk again normally. And i belive with power of prayer i have made recovery amd have beautiful daughter and life is as normal as it can be, 15 years drug free as well. I GIVE ALL GLORY TO THE LORD GOD🙏🙌 a bible verse that helped me is Isaiah 41:10 so do not fear for i am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your GOD. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my riotous hand!😁 GOD BLESS and preach on my brother
I had left my ex and moved to OC when I started going to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. You were in their monthly magazine, giving your life to Jesus and getting baptized circa 2005ish. Anyways, I was getting sober and prayed for your sobriety, healing, and protection in Jesus name for a while.
After all, I grew up with you guys and my heart broke for all you were going through. Its a huge answer to prayer to see you healed andwith your daughter and wife. 🕊Peace🕊

The way you speak about stepping out of religion, and the religious motions..is so true. Christianity is deeply spiritual.. Our Father is a spirit, and he has released the spirit of the Son to live within us so that we can cry Abba..and truly know our eternal Father. This is becoming born again..❤️

Very well said. A year ago, I considered myself "saved" but in reality, I was just afraid and wanted to make myself feel better. Now almost a year later since this upload, I recently took a leave of absence from work due to covid and health concerns with my family regarding that. Now I have just been working to better myself and my relationship with jesus. I have felt the love and peace and am trying to kick old habits and make myself a better person through god. Being a Christian doesn't just mean going to church every Sunday or doing your religious activities, you live it. And I have you to thank for that as well, you've really helped me with your music, your movie, and everything. It showed me that Jesus is the only way to true salvation

Thanks for directing me to the right path when I needed it the most.. I'm afraid if you never were the person you were today I'd still be thinking the thoughts that the devil wanted me to think. Like does he really love me? Is he really there? I read your book while in foster care (which i just got out) I was in a treatment facility where I thought I would lose hope and lose my sibling visitations. In order for me to get that back was to do good in the facility, and I read your book while I was I got feelings I never thought I would have for God. And soon I got out (still can't see my siblings up to this day) I learned things happen for a reason either its good or bad. That I went thru similar stuff you went thru. You did it. You got thru it. So why can't I? Brian you helped me go back to God at the right time cuz also since 14 I met this dude. For 6 years we been together. Always wanted a child. I prayed to God himself "heavenly father, I know I don't ask for much. But if I was to have anything good in life I want a child. All I want is one that's healthy and good shape. Please bless me with one just like you blessed my mom with me. And I know since she was pregnant with me and that I changed her life for the better, I would be a much better person. Just like her. Fair. Loving. And understanding. That's all I ask in life. In Jesus name, Amen." Sooner or later on last week I took the test. Found out that me and him are gonna be parents soon. And I later learned that if I put everything in God's hands and trust in him. He'll put me in the right path. And bless me when he can. Or will. No promises. That's the moment I learned that he actually gave me what I always wanted in life more of all. Someone to love me unconditionally. You changed my life and you made my day by preaching the word that us people need to hear. I admire your work in the music you made. I love every bit of it.

I feel like I was on a bad path and God lifted the veil and allowed me to see and feel things I never had before. It was a pure transformation , pure transfiguration. I actually love who our Lord has made me. I never thought that was even possible.

EchoCharlie 56 I first went on methadone when I was 20. I’m 35 now. I’ve been on suboxone once too. I’ve been off methadone for just over a month.
I could not have done this without Jesus. Keep asking God to give you strength and I will also pray for you.

@@kennymarker4245 Sorry if I haven't 100% kept up with all the ins and outs of Brian's current life. I know he got back with Korn and was or is playing out with them, but honestly I have not listened to them since Junior College- man that makes me feel old now to tell you the truth. I was just happy to see a guy really heavy in addictions "come out on the other side alive" because lots of people in the business end up not making it and that is sad. I was not relating this video on him fully recovering spiritually or anything like that. It was just talking about what was going on in the present. So yes I haven't kept up with him or Korn or really any of those 90's bands in a long long time. I saw his face on UA-cam and watch the video and loved to hear that he appears to be "working" on his life, like we all are. I am not perfect, he's not perfect nor is anyone on Earth perfect so yeah it's dumb to still have that teenage angst and say f you and what not at the live shows, but I am not sure what that had to do with my comment on being happy for a person giving a good message at that time and being alive on his UA-cam channel. No hate or drama hear on my end so thanks for you comment.

Love you brother. Thank you 🙏🏻 you visited a church I’ve been too in Indiana. I go to kingsway in Avon indiana. It I’ve been clean from opiates for three years now. The day after I found my mom dead from low blood sugar. That was it for me. I wanted to do cpr so bad but she was gone and had been for a couple hours before I found her. I still have nightmares about it April 22 it has been three years. Thank you for what you do, I grew up with out a dad, he died before I was born I was actually in my mothers womb when it happened. So I look for godly advice from you and love to hear the good news or gospel from you, it helps get me back on tract I’m a Christian who is not perfect by any means, but I try to follow in Gods image.

It was fun and reminded us of our youth. But at the same time it let us know we were just older and had a great time together hearing all of the stuff that made us who we are together. I had dead ears of god throughout my whole life as a youth. I was envious of everyone that said they heard his calling. I searched for him and studied the Bible and nothing! But after having my daughter and seeing all the good that opposes the evil in this world I heard it for the first time. It put me on my knees with tears falling down my face. I’m not afraid of death and I’m stronger for enduring what the lord has laid out for me. My mom named me after her favorite apostle....Paul. I’m not perfect and have done wrong most of my life and through his stripes Iam healed. I know there is better for us Head. I don’t fear death but I fear man. And my 10 year old daughter has discovered dear old dads fave band by hanging in the garage with me and working on cars. KORN! And being a drummer I’m a fan boy of Ray 😁
