  • In May of 1791, this wooded area became the site of an unspeakable act. A massacre that is said to still haunt these woods to this day. Today, we will explore the area where the Crow sisters lost their lives to see if the rumors are true... Are these woods haunted?
The Crow family has owned this land for generations, and the crow family has known tragedy for many many years. None of them were quite as shocking as the events of May 1791. On May 1 1791, the Crow sisters were visiting a family friend when they were attacked by a group of Native Americans and a white man believed to be William Spicer. The girls were taken captive for only moments before the men decided they were going to kill them. The 4 girls between the ages of 10 and 16 were attacked wit tomahawks, brutalized and massacred. Only one of the 4 girls was able to escape and make her way home to alert her family of the attack. In the end, the girls were memorialized on the rock from which their attackers were hiding. Their names are still carved into the rock to this day. The land is stained with the blood of the tragedy that has left a haunting mark on this land. It is believed that some who venture into the woods by themselves have come into contact with the ghosts of the Crow sisters. The story of hauntings have made the area infamous among locals because so many have had what they think are paranormal experiences. The screams of the girls are said to still echo through the trees to this day. Shadows and dark figures are also seen that people have speculated to be the spirits of Spicer and the Natives. We're not sure if this place is truly haunted, but there is only one way to find out.

This was a great episode, haunted or not. Just like Ryan was saying, it was an awesome history lesson, learning about those 3 young girls, murdered, and what a beautiful area. So sad. As an empath, as soon as you said the name Spicer, it struck me hard. He was an exmilitary person I feel, a bad man, greedy man. I'm going to look up more info on him. Anyway, I will always support you guys and love our paranormal family. The MODS are always great and you guys work hard at trying to bring us great content. I'm a history buff anyways so win-win for me!! Love you and have fun in Australia 🦘🌏!!!!!

Paranormal activity or not, this was still a great episode. I feel so sorry for those girls who lost their lives there all those years ago. I'm sure the Crow sisters are very thankful to you and Dave for sharing their story. Even if they don't necessarily understand how you would do that. Thanks for another great episode. I hope you guys are enjoying Australia 🇦🇺 😊 Even though the weather hasn't been too great lately! ⛈️🌧☔️ Stay safe 🙂🖤👻

I lived in Green County, I know Tina Crow she is a descendent of the Crow Family. Tina told me this story. So sad. I’ve been to the rock it is really scary. Sorta creepy. My friend Tina was named after Christina and Tina has two daughters, she named them after the other two Crow sisters

I just found out recently that Christina "Tena" Crow is my 6th great grandmother. Then learned of this story and Crow Rock. It's mind boggling to think if she had not survived the attack, I would not be here right now. Tell your friend Tina I say hello from a distant relative.

What a sad and tragic story of the sisters being murdered in such a horrific way. Truly very sad. It's a beautiful spot too. The river looks shallow enough and is probably a little warmer in the summer. I live on the Olympic Peninsula in WA state and the water in our creeks and rivers comes out of the Olympic Mountains so it's almost always cold water. In the spring and summer some of it comes from old glaciers in the mountains. Very cold! But it's clear and beautiful. 💖👻 Stay safe!

Later on Ryan is on the rock when you go back a 2nd time and he is asking about life after death and how people want to know well the spirit box clear as day was a young girls voice saying the word Different that was freaking amazing when my daughter and me asked her father when he passed and was on the other side he said to us the same thing he said Different for sure so you guys captured a very intelligent response to a specific question WTG!!

Kept hearing Spicer said in a deep gruff voice repeatedly just after the young girls voice. But Ryan, I’m surprised you didn’t try and reassure her when she said frightened just before that….must have been because Spicer was near. Think the Native Indians tried to talk too just prior to spicer, but you couldn’t understand what they said. You both did really well getting such responses as you did!! Being near water is supposed to help spirits too. Thankyou Connor for saving the day editing! Great stuff all of you. 🙋‍♀️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕🙏🦋

Y'all are just so handsome and brave and I do get a kick out of watching Dave run from them sprickets!! He's hilarious. No but seriously the paranormal most times don't answer when you ask them to and if they do then I think that a person has a gift that the spirit is attracted to. Maybe a place stays active residually. There are all kinds of reasons you do or you don't get activity but it does happen! Thank y'all for another great night to see into the paranormal!! Thank you so much for these videos. Can't get something on every investigation. You guys already have a great track record. Stay safe

You both couldn't hear the woman I heard her in your video saying I'm here the energy of the tragedy is still there and you have a male spirit holding these women back from talking to you. Love and light to you both 😊

What an amazing place, I love places like this. With a history behind it and you can feel what happend there. When I saw this I felt a sadness that was a little surprising to get through the tv, I usually get this kind of feelings when I visit different places but there is a first time for everything I guess.
