- I return to spend the night in one of the most haunted places on Earth with @haunted-horizons! This time we will venture down to the haunted tunnels below Cresson Sanatorium and Prison, to see what lurks in the total darkness below the ground. With cameras in hand, we will explore this massive haunted location to see what paranormal activity we can catch on camera!

Cresson Sanatorium and Prison could very well be one of the most haunted places on earth! Its short 97 year history was filled with tragedy as it first opened in 1916 as a Tuberculosis Sanatorium to treat people who were battling the deadly disease in human history. Many lost the fight against consumption as the hospital searched for the cure, and many believe the lost souls of patients still wander the halls of the many buildings still left here. In 1956 the hospital started to house patients with severe developmental disabilities and mental illness and was called the Lawrence Flick State Hospital. It's believed some of these patients may still haunt these halls as well. In 1983 the hospital closed and was empty for 4 years while the state of Pennsylvania spent $20.6 million to convert the complex into a prison. In 1987 State Correctional Institution (SCI) Cresson was opened and some of the most violent inmates in the state of Pennsylvania started to call it home. Many of these inmates were aware of the tragic history of the property they now lived in and some even believed the prison was cursed, and an evil cloud was draped over the complex. As inmate violence occurred within the population it only added to the haunted reputation of Cresson. The facility closed and the inmates were transferred out of the prison in 2013, and the true ghost stories of Cresson continued, but this time from explorers who would sneak into the empty buildings. In 2020, the property was purchased by Big House Produce who then opened the property for tours and ghost hunts in 2021. Paranormal and Ghost Hunters from all over the world are starting to discover Cresson Sanatorium and Prison, and VERY soon everyone will know this location as a bucket list paranormal destination!

Don't old Barns usually have bug's, like big ole spiders?! (Insert evil laugh). I wish I could click LIKE over & over ☹️. You're very brave to do that alone. I couldn't do it alone, ever, but I'd love to go on investigations. I want to experience something tangible, not just feeling it. I tell you what though, being a sensitive is great when you're looking for a new house. My mom looked at an old Victorian house, walked in & said.. Nope & out she walked 🤣!!

So on a more serious note away from Dave and Barns… I am astounded at how smart Ryan is (history buff perhaps), and just how much he appreciates the architecture and history of these places as much as he does investigating them! So sincerely passionate and real how can anyone not appreciate these videos for everything contained in them paranormal and non-paranormal alike!

You should come over to DUBLIN IRELAND 🍀 and I bett yous will be shocked to find every where you go to is full of spirits , For instant KILMAINHAM PRISON I WENT TO WITH My School back in 1990 they do tours the place is just pure stone and metal gates and chains and the cells are so creepy , you can feel the negative energy and I know now that I am able to feel when a spirit is around me and I wish that I was allowed to learn about it but from the age of 4 I can remember telling my mom about the man who draged a lady into a lane that was across from my house , but it turned out that someone was raped and beating were I said but it was before I was born and there was a field there at that time and there were new houses built there , my mom paincked and I was brought to my mom's family which they are and still carnival showmen who traveled around Ireland since my mom was a baby she could read tarot's cards and tea leaves and then she met my dad who has INDIAN NATIVE BLOOD AND HIS FAMILY GO BACK YEARS AND A LINE OF TINKERS , ,SO I GREW UP ON THE BEACH IN THE SUMMER AS WE OWNED SWINGING BOATS, CHAIR PLANES AND OTHER RIDES AND LIVED IN A CARAVAN ON THE BEACH , and my Mom's family were trying to teach me how to use my gift ,but my mom didn't want that for me she wanted a normal life for me as I was starting school and didn't want me to bring anything up about what I could see but mostly hear at the time and then I can remember Being in my moms house and candles and and the smell of incense but didn't know that at the time and words were said that I to me didn't feel right but I'm 8 years old and mom is there so nothing else was ever said about it and I wasn't allowed to go back to the beach in the summer and I was told that I was a tratorder but now and then I was still hearing voices and as I got older I kept it to myself I didn't want to be bullied by the kids , but I've seen two totally different MEDIUMS AND I WAS SHOCKED TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY SAW , THE FIRST ONE ACTUALLY CAME OUT AND SINGLE ME OUT AND BROUGHT ME IN AND TOLD ME THAT MY ENERGY AND ÀRUA WHERE NOTHING LIKE SHES SEEN BEFORE AND THEM TOLD ME THAT I LITERALLY HAD A SMALL ARMY OF SPIRITS BEHIND ME AS I ENTERED THE ROOM THAT I WAS A MESSENGER FOR THEM BUT SOME ONE CURSED ME TO BLOCK IT OUT THAT I WAS STILL HAVING THEM COMING TO ME IN MY SLEEP , BUT I ASKED MY MOM AND TO MY SURPRISE SHE TOLD ME THAT ME SHE DID this to give me some normally that I was way too young to deal with MOSTLY THE BAD THINGS . BUT I'M STARING TO GET RID OF THE CURSE AND THE ONLY WAY FOR IT TO BE BROKEN IS WHEN THE PERSON OR PERSONS WHO DONE IT ARE DEAD . Great investigation, Ryan proved that he could carry the show alone if need be.
You should watch, 60 DAYS IN, to learn about the prison lingo. Where the prisoners actually have their own set of rules they go by. This may help you get better communication.

Wow, this place feels so familiar even after a year having gone by! For some reason it stuck with me and I remember it well from the last time. That wide, seemingly central area, surrounded by the upper floor fence that's so prison-like, especially.

Had a poltergeist experience 4 days ago that made me love with my mom for afew days. I was in the hallway putting up photos of my brothers and sisters when we were all in middle school. The photos are all put in a book. While i was putting the photos up, a book flew out the box and onto the floor. At first i thought i just left it there and maybe it was another noise. When i went to pick the book up, it opened violently and the photos flew all over the place. I ran out the house with nothing but my wallet with my cards, id, driving license and my phone in my back pocket. Im still at my mothers house while my father and brothers are living in that house to see if it happens them.

What an awesome location! They do have those Waverley hills prices but the size of the place makes it very understandable. Great debunking on that final EVP session and that is also why we never do EVP sessions without rolling on the cameras so you can compare everybody’s movements, mouth noises and everything else that can come through as amazing EVP’s when in fact they’re just MNP or Misidentified Natural Phenomenon. Another good reason to always film your EVP sessions is so you can prove that the noises that you do capture that are legitimate aren’t just the investigators. Another great investigation video. 🤘🏻
