"Of The Abyss" is fucking amazing. But listen to the entire 3-Track EP before getting into the one-take vocals from Will. It gives you more context and appreciation of the music, arrangement, and techniques from all 4 members.
Of the Abyss is my favorite from the ep, and Idk why I dont see more people saying so. Lotta love for Hellfire and Return to Nothingness, but Abyss stands out to me much more.

Definitely check out Will Ramos’s one take vocal performances. He really has these vocal abilities. He also recently teamed up with Elizabeth from the Charismatic voice channel. They went a stuck a tube with a camera down his nose to study what his vocal chords are doing when he does all these vocal effects. They haven’t released that video yet but he did an interview with Charismatic voice worth checking out.

The charismatic voice did a interview with will. Nicest guy in world. Very bright. Any Lorna shore is top notch. Only other deathcore band that is in same league as them is worm shepherd. Ritual hymns by them is a masterpiece. Great job guys enjoyed it alot

Good to see you getting into the more extreme side of the modern metal scene. If you want something equally brutal but even more technically impressive in terms of musicianship, try checking out some Archspire. I'd recommend "Drone Corpse Aviator" from their new album "Bleed the Future"; not only is the music video amazing, but the song has some of the most intense musicianship from every member.
Even their vocalist is rather unique, combining death metal and speed rapping for a rapid fire delivery. The lyrics for the new album are basically a novella in rhythmic verse and the entire album is only 30 minutes long... Everyone in the band seems to really enjoy seeing how much they can cram into a scant few seconds which makes it some of the densest music I've ever heard, right up there with classical compositions. Like Nevermore, they're a band you can find something new with every subsequent listen.

There's a long running joke that Satan sold his soul to Will Ramos. And he's such a lovely, genuine, humble guy (most metal vocalists are). In an interview with Metal Injection he said that the end breakdown was a one-take kinda thing. And yet he can do it live which is beyond incredible. That's why I love heavy music, and the "core" genres. They're just so fun and cathartic. More often than not, the best bands are the ones that don't take themselves too seriously.

Sadly the record labels like to block the videos sometimes so we have to blur the video otherwise no one can watch our reaction.

I'm so happy this song was created hopefully it pushes deathcore and blackened deathcore into a heavier direction. Song still gives me chills.
Lorna is actually blackened deathcore so saying it sounds a bit like black metal is spot on. Emperor, Immortal, Cradle of filth and maybe even Dimmu Borgir (huge orchestral and choir elements) is true
I lol'd when she said she couldn't pay attention for 6 minutes.....not with this, you can't help but pay attention. And Will is a beast and that's his voice. His biggest inspiration is from Dickie Allen who is a crazy vocalist. He's in Infant Annihilator which you should check out for sure. You'll see the connection

This stuff is just eye opening... Love it. It must be a bitch to get this to sound right live though. At first I didn't like the "gollum" vocals but they're growing on me. Will is a cool guy. I like CJ too though. You might want to check out "Immortal" with the previous vocalist. The better song IMO. Or the Of The Abyss "one take vocal" of Will Ramos. Lovely!

Now you have to check ‘Ov Sword and Nail’ and ‘The River Ov Knives’ by Worm Shepherd. They play the same style of deathcore, and they are even heavier. The vocalist has like 20 different ranges.
