Just make sure Valencia is doing well in Sept for our visit. We have our flights booked so no looking back. Tapas and drinks. Last Time I had a BUD was probably in 2015. For Carmel last bud might be 1887.
We will try our best! We should be over 70% vaccinated by then. It has been forever since I have had a Bud either…Vicky has had maybe 2 in her life. But it was actually pretty good🍻. Carmel looks great for being almost 140 years old! Cheers!
Hola guys! Awesome Videos! Soooo jealous of you too. Wife and I are planning on doing the same. Sell everything and leave the west coast behind. Travel for a couple years though Europe. Were thinking of living in Alicante area and use it as our jump point. Valencia look every cool, but seems too big for us. Thank you for what you do. Be safe!!
Hi guys, great video, would you mind letting us know the name of the restaurant where you had the kimchi bravas? Am going in December and staying in el cabayal
Hi Prashan, the name of the restaurant is Fets. If you will be staying in El Cabanyal, we also recommend you to watch our Casa Montaña and 3 foot pizza videos as they are also restaurants you should try if you are in that area. Here are the links. Enjoy your time in Valencia! ua-cam.com/video/DM4ILPq2biM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/KwvWcSkn-RA/v-deo.html
Amazing channel! Got some great tips from it! How busy is Valencia currently being a "red zone"? We are heading out from Belgium in 2 weeks so really curious. Keep up the good work!
Hi Bram, thank you! I’m glad to hear that our channel was helpful! 😊 Valencia is pretty normal now, although due to the spike of cases, now we have a curfew back in place (1am-6am) until August 16th. But Valencia is also vaccinating people pretty fast, the problematic age group (20-29, most of case spikes are from this age group), they just started vaccinating them. Please know though, August is usually not the best time to visit Spain, as lots of Spaniards go on vacation during this month, hence, vacation destinations will be more expensive and a lot of places will be closed. There is a page called N332 on Facebook, it’s a great resource to find our new restrictions in various municipalities in English. 😄Hope it helps!
@@ACoupleofNomads thanks for the answer! I know it isn't the best period but we will take the most out if it. We'll be leaving after 3 days and spend the other part of our holiday in Barcelona. Already made a reservation at Casa Montana & Le Favole!
Hi Loreen, lunch time most restaurants have a board outside called “Menu del Día” many will have Paella Valenciana, which is chicken. This will typically be the first course of 3! Thanks for watching!
@@ACoupleofNomads I read that in a blog. Is there no other option. A menu with primero, Segundo y postre is too much for me. I would not be able to finish it.
Haha I know! I keep falling for the server saying ‘muy picante!’ 🤣🤣Regardless, it was still delicious! First time trying sobrasada, very unique and delicious.
@@ACoupleofNomads I think Spanish people don’t deal well with “picante” our genes have not adapted to it 😁 thanks for the video. I only have two weeks to go before I move back! 😎🙏
Haha that’s understandable since none of the Spanish food is really spicy. That’s awesome that you are moving back! Welcome home! We didn’t get to show El Cabanyal as much as we wanted to as most of places were packed (with limited capacity) so we will be doing another video! Thank you for watching 😊
question? what is the most yes most valuable important of all to you? it seems the CAMERA because you are always holding it instead the beautiful woman walking with you.
Another video already? Horray! I love the old houses in that area. And I really want to check out that Mercabañal place! And they should have put actual kimchi on those patatas bravas. We used to order from this Korean-fusion type of place in Berlin, and they had amazing kimchi fries. They actually had kimchi on them though, and had a really nice aoilo. Those bravas were just imposters! 😂
Thanks for watching! Trying to put out some good stuff👊 Mercabanyal is coming soon😃 Yeah, kimchi would have been nice…we are missing Korean food, that place in Berlin sounds delish!
Good music, good video. The beach even had some wavelets...kinda. Looking forward to the next vid.
Thank you for watching🥰
The neighbourhood where I was staying! Great video again 👍👍

Awesome! Yes, it’s a cool neighborhood. Thank you for watching 😊

Thank you so much for visiting us. Great video, makes me want to visit Peñiscola as a tourist 😃
Thank YOU for your great accommodation and making us feel so welcomed 😊You guys live in such a beautiful town 💙
Nice video. I am moving to Spain in 2024 (maybe Valencia). Just curious, what type of visa do you guys have?
Thanks for watching Bob! You’ll love Valencia. The most common visa is the non-lucrative visa.
Some places are in Grau, not Cabanyal
Al Cabañal los valencianos solemos ir a almorzar a !! la Pascuala !! , bueno ,bonito barato . Al acabar el almuerzo pedir un carajillo ( cremat ) .
Gracias por su recomendación! Vamos a probarlo 😊
Hi guys, where can i get a Paella just for one person. I eat fish and chicken. ☺️

You could find a para llevar or take away restaurant that has a big paella in the window!
Spicy in Spain means mild in other countries 😂 wow! Those bravas and sobrasada 😀
