Bad Kreuznach, Germany 🇩🇪 Sharing my favorite town. Filipina and American couple in Germany.

Bad Kreuznach... Geez, WHERE do I start? I guess, at the beginning. This was home to my Army unit here in Germany, and the first time that I had truly been far away from home. I landed here in October, 1990 and thus, spent a LOT of time here. Outside of doing my job, this was the place spent often in solitude and reflection, having just lost two of the most important people in my life, as well as doing those famous soldiering things, exploring and PARTYING. There is a LOT of things to do and see here. From the very famous Bridge Houses and Wellness Resort along the Nahe River, to wandering though the many small Middle Ages alleyways and finding quaint little restaurants to enjoy food and drink... This is a fantastic town to explore and, unfortunately, we were unable to show you everything that there is to do here at this time. I've wanted to share this place with Franci for along time and we really appreciate you going on this adventure with us! We were stationed here from '86 - '89. We lived at the beginning of the pedestrian zone with a little park literally outside our bedroom window. Loved the town. We talked about visiting again in a few years - can't wait.

"De Gulasch" aka Heinrich Saam was known for his fondness for spicy goulash.
Unfortunately the city somehow has its best years behind it...still remember the 80s and 90s...
