Fun fact there was an older gentleman that loved the haunted mansion in Disneyland and when he got sick he asked for his ashes to be placed in the ride. Disney didn't feel comfortable doing this but they did place his wheelchair in the ride after he passed. If you look behind your buggy in the ballroom scene you can see it there. The ballroom scene was his favorite part of the ride.
that's an awesome story. I didn't stumble upon it when I was researching but I'll have to see if I can spot the wheelchair next time I watch the ride walkthrough video or maybe if I get the chance to go in person haha
Ya know what’s funny? I’ve been going to Disneyland every year for the past 10 years with my grandma but it’s usually at Christmas time. And in Disneyland during Christmas time the haunted mansion becomes a nightmare before Christmas ride. So in my head the Haunted Mansion is a Nightmare before Christmas themed ride and the normal version is the like special summer version of the ride.
This is so pretty! It’s giving me all the feels since Disneyland is closed. The dining room/ballroom area is gorgeous and I can imagine ghosts dancing through the table. Great job!
Now I have my laptop actually working I can say that Tomi and the patrons have been working on this build and sims for about 2 weeks. So much research happened. lol

And yeah, the Haunted House movie is one of the ones that really needed a remake, not Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, or Mulan.

I love this as usual. I really enjoy how you include other Disney builds/characters/themes that aren't directly from Disney movies but Disney in general and just combine ideas. Would you ever do a build that would kind of encompass a bunch of movies (like bringing some together) where it would be just like a fun character/movie crossover? I don't know how to explain it but something like that.

I ride the WDW one when I was 15 (more than 10 years ago 🤣) But, this is amazing, I have watch clips of the Disneyland and this looks great! I love that you give your own touch. I'm so excited for what's next! Even though I cannot download the Disney save because I haven't bought the game 🤐 I have downloaded. But I still love your videos, they are so inspiring. Maybe one day I will have the original sims 4 and will be able to play with the Disney save 😁
When I went on this ride at the end of 2015 it was tim burton themed! I am guessing you are doing a tim burton themed haunted mansion as well for your version 2?
Honestly never been on the rides as far as i remember i went to Disney world when i was like 4 or 5 so my memory is a little fuzzy and the only haunted mansion I know of is from the haunted mansion movie

I enjoy all your video and never think it’s lengthy. Perhaps you could do a speed build then another decor+walkthrough if the video is too long but it would mean more work for you

I picked the wrong episode to watch, I LOVE the live action one, I watched it twice this October I love the love story and Eddie Murphy’s character. I don’t care for the ride I went one time at Disney Land around Halloween, was very creepy but not that memorable

I know you are making this a residential build but I think the Haunted Mansion would have worked great as a museum or library or gallery.

Oh I didn't know they did that! Version 2 of Forgotten Hollow will unfortunately not have a haunted mansion. More will be explained very soon!

The build was beautiful though, just didn’t like the live action dislike.
