The power of the water turns a big stone wheel, that sits on top of another block of stone, to grind wheat to make flour. Because if this I can imagine Maurice having previously been a baker at some point as his main job, while he did his inventions as a hobby on the side.
Yes!! Maurice's cottage!! Was so waiting to see this!! It looks fantastic!! And yeah, I think Belle's bedroom might have been in the attic. But like you said, the way the house looks on the outside in comparison to the inside doesn't fit quite as well as one would hope, lol.
Haha it almost never does! But the exterior is more rememberable to me anyway. Belle probably had a cute little attic bedroom but we’re gonna give her a castle ☺️
I really love the cottage it looks amazing!!! And yes, I do remember stairs going to the basement as well, I think it was when Belle returned and was looking for her father? I'm not sure.
Love this build! It feels so cozy. If you really want to add horses, I recently found a mod that lets you have interactive and rideable horses. There are also some farming mods, that lets you own pigs and maybe some other animals as well I think.

Seeing this build makes me so happy! Beauty and the Beast (the animated version) is by far one of my favourite Disney movies, and of course I love the fairytale as well! Honestly though, the live action was quite disappointing when it came out. It seemed quite dark in some places and didn't really capture the original's essence as much as I had liked it to.
I actually did like the live action! I think it’s because I didn’t have an attachment to the animated version growing up so I had no expectations. But for Aladdin live action, I was so disappointed. 😭 so I understand completely.
i know it may seem weird and this is definitely not the case for tianas childhood home, but in the old days, like when belle takes place in, she might have shared a room or even a bed with her father to save space or to avoid needing a bigger home, so this house could be more accurate then you think
