How to Draw out a Tattoo Design of an Old School Tiger on paper with markers.
I've got about 14 years experience tattooing and tattoo many different tattoo designs in different styles from Old School Traditional, Neo Traditional, Japanese, New School and Realistic. Drawing a tattoo design in a different style requires very different appoaches but lucky enough i break these down into easy to follow guides showing you how to draw old school, how to draw neo traditional/japanese etc is very simple steps and understanding how you did it and what makes them look that way.

So glad to see you back on paper. I know the tutorials on procreate are functionaly the same but I just find it soooooo much easier to follow along on paper. Not a tattoo artist but I've put together some of my favorite pieces following along and piecing together different videos of yours.

What kind of brush marker are you using?
Hello! I've been drawing for a while with both just graphite pencils and fineliners, but recently i've wanted to get into some more traditional tattoo drawings with colour and I was wondering what pencils you use and or recommend. Both the gray scales and the coloured ones! :)
I don't see it anywhere, maybe I missed it: What markers do you use? Also, less importantly, what paper?
At the beginning he says Winsor newton brush markers and sharpie, but you can use copics or any markers you want, and it’s basic sketchbook paper
Not basic sketchbook Archie’s watercolor paper he is just using scrap from a big sheet it’s very thick paper
How did he do the shading?
With what kind of pen he does the low opacity black?

It was going so well until I got to the nose enhanced detail 😂 been sat here for about 10 minutes trying to get it right but it just looks daft no matter what I do, great video and amazing art though mate! Keep up the good work
Haha the nose can be tricky to get right, just takes a bit of practice and you'll get it

Hi! I'm a huge fan of your work! i love traditional and neotraditional tattoos, i love japanese tattoos, and you, Sir, master all these techniques like a God!!! I started to follow your channel a few years ago, being interested in tattoos. At that time you were drawing on paper, and that determined me to pick up a piece of paper and practice my teenage habbit of drawing dragons, koi fish, roses and so on! I found your teaching skills quite impressive and you helped me improving my techniques. I'm a pharmacist, i'm not an artist of any kind.. i wasn't encouraged to take this "road" in life, i had no mentor at that time and i regret it now! I hope your work on this channel will encourage many teenagers to pick up a pencil and a piece of paper, and just do what they love, what they feel they should do! I raise my hat in front of you and i would be proud to wear someday on my skin one of your masterpiece! Keep up your great work! do it on paper.. or digital..but continue to an inspiration for the next artist generation! Cheers!

Nice vid! I have a question tho, I study drawing by my own but my style is towards to a more realistic/accurate style of anatomy and Im having a hard time switching to this style wich I really like, have you some ideas or excercises I can do to loose more my hand and not fall into what is "anatomically accurate"?

no prob i use winsor and newton brushmarkers in this video with a sharpie for the outline

This awesome I haven't seen you draw traditionally with pencil and paper in a long time I like the way you teach doesn't matter if you're drawing digitally or traditionally with pencil and paper either way is good the only difference if we get to see your flaws in traditional art where when you draw digitally you can correct your mistakes almost right then and there and it sometimes looks like a robot created the artwork even you're the one who created the art the traditional style with pencil and paper I mentioned this earlier we get to see your mistakes and how you're able to adjust to them to make your drawings look amazing
