Just say someone were to stumble on this on accident or a new curiousness for the hobby, how would they describe this video without knowing what the coin is? I heard gold eye something, but really we need more info. Thanks.
I am not trying to be mean, but if i was a high end coin collector, i would not touch with my sweaty hands. It drives me crazy to see people on tv, say look at this uncirculated coin , as the are touching the fields. I guess , i am picky very cool coin.thanks for sharing .
What a poor video of a guy unboxing a coin that is barely seen and worse, poorly handled IMHO. The coin is seen from afar, no detailing it, no closeups of it's packaging or general status as a nismatic piece.
Good question. Many ancient coin collectors do not want their coins to be slabbed. And handling the coin gently is acceptable to most in this area of the hobby.
No narrative, so am I correct to assume the coin may be going intro a bezel or some other jewelry? Good way to destroy value IMO. I gutted i may not be one of the brighter bulbs observing the coin presentation.
Your audio was terrible, and we were not allowed a good look at the coin. There was no explanation of its significance for the uninitiated. You handled that rarest of coins with bare hands.
I am envious... And that is an understatement 😁 You should have some Praetorian Guards in your office while opening treasures like that 😄
If the coin is the most valuable you should not be touching it with your fingers
All that packing and then just grabs it out lmao 🤣
When are we gonna get more "Cool Coins" episodes? They were probably my favorite to watch on this channel!
Awesome! I met Harlan Berk at NY in 2020, great guy, he signed my book...

Eids of march, date fortold of his death.
For such a rare and valuable coin I think I would be wearing gloves on this one. Nice video though.
Such a fascinating coin with a fascinating history! Who knows how many famous hands this coin has been through!
You seemed so excited I thought you might cut your fingers off trying to get to it! 🤣 Beautiful coin!!!

Would it be wrong if I wanted to thread a rope through its already pre-existing hole and wear it as a necklace? XD XD
